I bought this Sony tv because I wanted 4K but did not want to pay over $500 and I have been satisfied with Sony products in the past. Its awesome and works well with my surround sound system as well.

I bought this to replace a less than 1 year old Visio 50" because I just wasent satisfied with the picture and overall performance of the TV. Now I am more than satisfied with all the workings, picture, sound, smart functions and performance. (Actually the sound could use some enhancement but is better than my Visio,). I would recomend to anyone.

Bought this television a couple of weeks ago. Great picture at a great price. Paid 449.00. Netflix and YouTube features are easy to navigate. On par with my LG that I bought a few years ago.

Originally bought a 43" 4K LG for my son. It had very high ratings and was very affordable. I think we got a lemon, had lots of dead spots and didn't really like the legs it sat on. He and I took it back and we just started looking around and found this. It was superior in the store and it is at home as well. If I remember right it was a little less than $150 difference to go from the 43" to this 50", and if you are wise and use Best Buy's magnificent financing plans, that difference over 18mos. is nothing. He made a few minor tweaks to the settings and he is so happy. I have no idea what the cost is today, but we got a great deal about 3 weeks ago.

Picture quality is great, set-up was easy. I find getting to Netflix and other apps simple. The price of under 500.00 for a 50" tv was wonderful. Very happy so far!

Got this TV for a replacement to my main tv and it is great! Love the 4K upgrade and it is super light, clean design - fits in well with the rest of my Sony items!

I bought this TV for my bedroom. Easy setup, great processing speed. I use it to stream Netflix and with a Roku stick in the USB port. Great image and great value.

This Sony 4k TV has amazing picture quality makes things almost look real and kinda almost 3D looking. I also got a 4k sony blu ray to go with it and man it looks good with a 4k movie and it knows what kind of disc you put in. It also makes regular 1080p look good too. I also like it's smart tv functions like using hulu, netflix and youtube. Netflix and youtube work fast on it. You have the option to get 4k netflix if you want but regular 1080p quality. The sound is good on it but it's still better to have a sound system on it. Sony has some good quality devices they make.

I bought this TV because it offered HDR at a reasonable starting price, and I am glad I did. The picture is phenomenal, and the HDR, while somewhat limited, is great for the purposes I use it for. This TV also doubles as a computer monitor, and it has done so flawlessly. This review was even written on the very TV it is reviewing!

I love my new Sony HDTV along with an extension for my antenna to your with this Rocketfish™ RF-RG612BK RG6 coaxial A/V cable. Currently using indoors.

this tv actually exceeded my expectation. the picture is very good and the sound too. so far I have not connected my sound bar because there is no need for it. It should be noted that I tried but could not make a connection.

This SONY TV is outstanding -- the picture is amazing and so clear! It's the perfect size for my small family room as I did not need a monster size TV! However, my review is not about the TV quality... I ordered two of these SONY TV's -- one for myself and one for my mother as a Xmas present. SONY TV #1 arrived and worked perfectly -- it is at my mom's house. She is very happy! SONY TV #2 was a complete fail -- did not work. DEFECTIVE! So I take the TV back to my local Best Buy. They exchange the TV. I take the new SONY TV home and notice it has a cracked screen! DEFECTIVE! So, I bring the exchanged SONY TV back to Best Buy and they give me another SONY TV as exchange. This SONY TV works fine and I am very happy with it. What are the odds of two SONY TVs being defective and I get both of them? Probably 100,000-1. Anyway, Best Buy took care of the problem with no hassles and they did apologize for everything and the many hours of my day dealing with this problem. So who is at fault with this fiasco of getting two defective SONY TV's? SONY? UPS who shipped the the first two TVs? Best Buy? Frankly, I have no idea. I guess I should be more annoyed about what happened, but I just decided to let it go and move on since it it is the Holidays!

I got this TV on sale. Was WELL worth the amount i paid for it. While on the web page it says this TV doesnt have HDR. RIGHT on the TV was a sticker that said 4k HDR as well as on the box. Few things i love about this TV. the picture is AMAZING. It was very easy to set up, connected to my WiFi with no problems as well as my network. Am able to listen to music off my network as well as any movies i have. The movies look amazing The only down fall about this TV is the sound is lacking. But i had a home sound system that i hooked up. and that took care of it. If you can handle having the low sound with "not much" emmmpp to it...then its fine. But am using to 5.1 surround sound and the speakers just lacked in that department. But over all this TV is amazing. Picture quality is awesome on both HD TV and my Xbox One as well as playing blue rays . Dont have a HD player yet...but even with out it the picture quality is sweet. Couldnt ask for a better TV.

We stopped in to buy a charger and somehow came home with this TV as well! We got a great post-Black Friday deal and was impressed with the knowledge of the Sony rep that walked us through all the options and sizes. The TV itself is fantastic! It is our first smart TV and we LOVE it! Our internet connection is not always great, so that can ruin things - but that is on our service provider - not the TV. The picture is amazing, although I would recommend a sound bar. The sound is okay, but for movies it can get a bit quiet.

This TV has a very crisp picture. It was easy to set-up. It has a lot of features I’ve yet to use, but look forward to using.

Purchased this for my parents who are in their upper 80's. They live outside Philly and still use over the air reception. The foot print is only 2" more than the 40" Sony it replaced. 1st 4K I've purchased. Very easy to set up. Picture is awesome when reception is 1080i or streaming. Great value at the price I paid.

Really great overall TV, very good picture quality and settings for different scenes such as cinema / sports / etc really does make a difference in the picture quality. Very easy to mount by myself. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the built in speakers are not the greatest. It is best suited with external speakers for better quality sound. Also there is still somewhat of a glare surrounding light sources so the TC is really best suited for darker rooms or areas where you can turn lights on and not too many windows. So overall still great purchase for the price.

Bought this TV for my Xbox one so we could play new games in 4K. The picture is very clear, colors are amazing.

Great picture quality. Remote could be a lil more user friendly but overall it’s still awesome for the price.
