This TV was purchased as a office TV. I wanted one that would do everything and it does.... and lots more than I will ever need. It has an amazing picture and the sound is great for the office environment.

Watching some of my favorite movies on Blu-Ray on this TV is simply a revelation. The detail is incredible & I've seen things in some films that I had never been able to distinguish before. Definitely 5 stars for the picture. But the sound "resolution" is not as consistently outstanding. Spoken words & soundtrack music sometimes are clear, & sometimes seem "distant" or to have reverb. Not being a sound engineer, I'm at a loss for how to explain it. I'll be exploring a separate sound bar (or similar item) to remedy this. 2 stars for sound brings down the overall rating.

I shopped several TVs and this one won hands down. The picture quality is amazing when watch 4K videos and streaming videos. It is fast when starting up which is important when you have kids that can’t wait.

Sony picture is far superior to any others! This particular model provides that in 4K with minimal apps (available on other devices) at lower cost than other Sony choices - exactly what I was looking for!

Good WiFi good for streaming video and playing games

Decided to go with a floor model without all the bells and whistles... Saved a lot of dough and gets the job done great at a bargain.... only issue was that it did not come with a drain hose that they needed to order. It took over two weeks for some reason.

Affordable Smart TV with latest technology. Great buy for the price, great display with limited apps as expected with not top of the line product. Serves its purpose while not settling for lesser products

Researched many tv's before purchasing this Sony 4K 50" TV and we were beyond pleased after installation. Excellent purchase at a reasonable price. Best Buy Geek Squad service was better than we expected.

The picture ic sharp, colors are real. The out of the box instructions and setup instructions were easy to follow. The only negative about this TV is,the speakers should be front facing. You find yourself turning the volume up more than what you think.

I had previously purchased a Sony TV for my living room and saw this 50 inch Sony advertised for a reasonable price. I put this TV in my bedroom and am very pleased with the clarity and colors on the TV.

This is a really good great-value smart TV with a sharp colorful picture. We use it for Netflix, Amazon Prime & YouTube and it always performs flawlessly. It has plenty of input options.

Best quality for the price, very clean picture depending on what tv services you’re using and if they provide with you hd quality, blue ray looks amazing, 4K compatible gaming systems are top notch.

Been a plasma viewer for the last 12 years and wanted a tv that handled black color as true as a plasma, which this tv does. Fantastic picture. Colors are outstanding.. Very pleased with this purchase.

Sony is one of the better quality brand TVs out in the middle market right now with a great reputation for tv quality. Think edge borders makes the picture pop, a smart tv to connect to apps. Great!
