This product was purchased for my wife's aunt who needed a new TV, she has a small front room and needed 50" or under. This TV fits perfectly on her stand and has a beautiful picture using Comcast cable. It was easy setup and she was really impressed with 720p, wait until we get Comcast to help her switch the signal from the box to 1080i. She will love 1080i and hopefully will take use of the 4K HDR some day... she is ready for the future signal.

Just had this tv for about three weeks and its great. No isues. Great sound and picture. Easy setup.

We purchased this T.V. about a week before the 2018 Superbowl. The price of $429 for this 50 inch Sony made it a fantastic buy. As others have noted, the colors on this television are stunning once you have it calibrated correctly. I have been close to purchasing a Samsung T.V. several times but I am so glad I waited and found this Sony model instead. The bezel surrounding the screen is very slim which allows the picture to seem even larger than it is. This 50 inch size works great in our viewing area. We sit about 6 to 8 feet away from the screen and it is very very good. The the viewing angle is quite wide too. The screen still shows up fine even out to nearly 180 degrees if you happen to need that. If I needed more T.V.s I would definitely buy this Sony again.

Very nice TV at a fair price. Had been looking for 55" but this seemed to be a good deal and ordered online. Delivery was quick and setup was easy. Picture quality is good too. Big fan of Sony TVs and so far this one seems like another good choice. This is my 5th Sony LED and have been pleased. Might consider a sound bar just to upgrade the sound a bit as the bedroom where this set is located is fairly large (17x19).

I purchased this TV as a gift for my dad. It was easy to set up and the picture was good even using a coax connection. After I connected an HDMI the HD channels looked really good especially after doing a little fine tuning to turning the brightness up a little. The picture became much more vibrant after this adjustment. The unit is very easy to operate and the sound transmits well even in a large room.

I have yet to explore all of the features that this set offers, but I am happy with the picture & basic functionality. Sony is one of the few manufacturers that use a single unit base for the set. Most others have gone to the 2 leg design & I don't like that look. This is basically an entry level TV, but the processor is better than similarly priced TVs. My main use for this TV is cable viewing & a display for my Mac Mini music server, so I don't do any critical viewing with this set.

Great sony 4k tv beautiful picture and great price plus a good size screen.

As you would expect with pretty much anything Sony has been producing the past year or two, this 4k TV is the same. Great quality, and thin. We dont use the internal speakers on it as we have a Bose sound bar that we paired up with it. We also have a 65" Sony 4k in the main room. It made deciding to get this tv that much easier. You cannot go wrong with getting a SONY tv!!!

The quality of the 4K TV is impressive. I'm using it as a wireless tv right now. There are several apps that can be used. The apps however are not like the ones from an app store on a cell phone. So the variety is limited to youtube, netflix, amazon, and few other familiar apps. I just got an Amazon stick. I'm going install it and see if it gives me more variety.

Sony is a proven name in televisions. Beautiful picture, easy to use.

The tv is very streamlined and user friendly. I also like the fact that it is capable of turning on and switching to the devices that you are using that are connected to the hdmi slots. I binge watch Netflix a lot so having a one touch button for it is a huge plus for me. On top of that, the picture quality is amazing! I would get another tv like this one!

Bought this Tv at best buy.com, pick it up at store and after 5 days internet not longer working. Exchanged for another same model. Best Buy guys veryhelpfull, not questions. Zero problems with our new TV. Kids love one button Netflix-You tube. We used optical fiber audio cable to enhance sound with Sony 1000w home theater. Love our living room now.

I was looking for a 55in to replace my LG 42IN. My old TV Had a pedestal mount and I needed the same.. Due to the cost of a 55in so equipped with HDR I was steered by an associate to the 50 IN Sony. It was on sale for $449.99 and I couldn't be happier. It up scales 1080 P to 1080I clarity. I haven't viewed ant 4K content yet but I love the TVs is.

The picture is so clear. The best tv so far. Easy to understand the functions of the remote control. The interface is so engaging. It’s really different from the other tv’s that I used to have. And it’s a Sony so I know it’s durable. Also the sound from the speaker so clear. I reallly like it. Will switch to other Sony products from now on.
