I was looking for a small but good sounding system for my living room as my audiophile system is in the rec room. Sony put together a small but powerful system. Frequency response is adequate but could use a better high end. There is a bass boost but dont expect the furniture to bounce. Overall a good sound but not great. Theres enough power to crank it up and easily fill the house with sound. The better aspects to this unit are the preset tuning, USB stick reading, input jack, phone jack and bluetooth capability. If you read the manual, everything is easy enough to set up. The antenna works for what it is. This would be perfect for dorm, small apartment or filling a need in a room. Its not earth shattering, it sounds good and across the board, adequate. I would suggest a better pair of speakers though.

Sales person was very helpful I like the design it fits perfect in the space I needed to go in and I love the sound and the volume is great definitely would recommend it to anyone

I wanted a stereo for an screened-in sun room for parties and outdoor leisure. It needed to have a USB port so I could play set lists from a flash drive. This unit sounds great and the features make it very versatile (includes Bluetooth playback as well). There's only one downfall, and that's the price ($200).

This stereo system was just what I had hoped to find! It has great sound and doesn't take up a lot of room. The big selling point for me was that it was Bluetooth compatible AND could play CDs, too. NO buyer's regret here!

After my receiver finally burned out, I was looking for a small stereo setup just to play MP3, CD, and the radio so I decided to go to a shelf unit. This Sony system is compact and powerful enough for my needs. I am going to buy additional speaker wire because the wire included is not long enough to move the speakers very far from the unit. It is Bluetooth enabled, but I haven't been able to pair it with my Skullcandy wireless headphones yet; may need Geek Squad help unless I am just not reading the instructions right. Also, I haven't tried playing MP3s on a thumb drive yet. All in all, this is a great little unit for my needs, powerful speakers that sound great even when cranked up to the max.

I was looking for a compact music system that I could set up in the living room in an inconspicuous place that would deliver some quality radio and CD music. I am very satisfied with all aspects of my Sony music system and am glad I purchased it.

I was looking for an economical system to play CDs in a small room and this has worked out very well. Sound is better than I expected and so far the unit has performed well. Set up was very easy

A great stereo system at a great price. It has a retro look but has modern amenities. It's small in size too which is great plus it's lightweight. AM/FM receiver, CD player, auxiliary jack, bluetooth compatible, and USB port. I can hook up my iPod via the USB port and auxiliary jack and listen to my music via this system (although it requires an audio cord - not included). The system may be small but it kicks out volume! AM/FM reception is great (I read some reviews that said it wasn't so good) with included antenna. Unfortunately there isn't a port for a turntable. I've had it about a month now and I love it.

This sony micro system sounds really good. Bluetooth setup was super easy and connected to my iPhone and my mac with no problems. if you looking of a non portable bt speaker set this is it. it will play cd's and has an aux in for my iPod classic. It even has a usb to keep my iPod charged. nice little package.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The sound system is awesome and the blue tooth was very easy to sync and set-up to a cell-phone. Liked it so much, going back to purchase one for myself. Excellent choice!

Purchased this compact system to provide music from CD's and radio in crafts room. Purchased based on reputation of the Sony brand name. Appears to be well made and it was well packaged. However the set-up/operating instructions leave a bit to be desired. Read carefully and you'll get it set-up after awhile. Sound from small speakers is crisp and clear. Connecting the AM and FM antennas was a must. (This was not necessary on the system it replaced.) Only a couple of stations came in clearly without antennas.

was looking for a small shelve audio system for my wife's office and walked past this in the store. good sound, good price, multiple formats so I purchased it. my wife liked it so much she kept it for home. setup was easy.

Needed a unit that was small and easy to use. I was looking for a nice Bluetooth unit to connect for a small room. Great frequency range on the sound. Looks very clean on the shelf.

This us an excellent compact sound system. The reception of radio stations is clean and clear and the sound is full over a wide range. I can listen to music from my phone using blue tooth or play CD's. I can only load one CD at a time, but that is OK.

I received the music system as a Christmas gift, and am enjoying it. The sound is great for such a small system, and it is relatively easy to use. I thank my son and his wife for such a thoughtful gift.

Great sound in great size and it comes with a remote control. Cords could be slightly longer for a decent size room.

Easy setup. Clear instructions, easy sync. Real nice sounds.

The price of the product was important to me and the price was good. It was easy to setup and the sound is very good for a product in this price range.

Excellent, user friendly bluetooth stereo. 50 watt speakers have rich sound but won't rattle any windows. Wanted something for my office and this is the cat's meow. Highly recommend.
