Great Deck

I love this deck. I mostly use the front panel iPod jack with my iPod. The CD works great. The tuner works great also. However, I don't recommend the iPod adapter. I have over 5300 songs on my iPod and the adapter is impossible to use (I returned it). The adapter is klugey and operating it is asking for an accident. By the way using the remote control is really helpful. I'm going to buy one for my wife!

I bought this deck for my wife and we have been very pleased with it. Its not flashy but it majors on all the important functions. The large flipdown display keeps the disc drive clean and the iPod port is very handy. You also have green and red choices for the display color. Great sound with our sony XPLOD speakers and customizable EQ is helpful too! Buy this deck!

It has great sound. The EQ is a really great feature. Did not take long to figure out all the features and how to work them. The iPod interface is a little hard to use and takes some getting used to. You can always plug it in the front though which is a great feature. Many choices and many features all at a good price. Great buy.

I purchased this radio months ago and waited until now to make sure I really liked it. This was a great buy! The sound is wonderful, and the price is unbelieveable for what you are getting. The only draw back is while turning the volume button it's easy to push the button in and change the settings if you're not paying attention. It doesn't happen often just try to avoid pot holes or speed bumps while changing the volume. It's not a huge problem, but will happen. Also my mp3 works well with this unit. I would purchase another one and also reccomend it to anyone. P.S. I replaced a Kenwood for this one.

I put this deck in my 1994 Ford Taurus along with Pioneer 6x8 custom fit rear deck speakers and Pioneer 5 1/4 door speakers. The system performs flawlessly and the remote has a decent range. The aux front port works great along with my Zen (when it worked) and the with the amplifcication 10db amplification it is louder than expected.
Having a great sounding system in an old car turns some heads!

This cd player is a great pick up. It's way cheaper than many of your other head units you see on the market. Also it has all the features you would want and expect out of a $300 head unit. This cd player works great with my system and i have never had any problems with it. If you don't want to spend a crazy amount, pick this up and get a GREAT cd player for half the price!

Ok, ok, I'm a girl...and a girly girl on top of that...however....I was able to instal this deck in less than 15 minutes without even breaking a nail! - This makes me very happy! Everything works perfect, deck sounds great...my Taylor Swift CD has never sounded better! Anyone buying a new deck should check this one out before spending so much money. It's even easy to pug in and play my ipod! Wha hoo! Gotta go drive somewhere to listen to my stereo! Peace out!

I did my research online and compared prices and consumer ratings and found that this was the best buy for the money.
It was so easy to install and the sound is fantastic. My husband was so suprised to see that his wife intalled her own car stereo. It took only about 15 minutes and it was up and running.

I should start out by saying that I am not a hardcore audiophile. I just wanted a solid sound thru ok speakers (factory). I basically just wanted something to replace my factory deck. I have been very happy with what I got for the money in this model. Crisp sound and a solid performer the install was done in like 20 min. I have listened to some expensive car systems in my friend's cars and I don't think they sound any better. This is really the way to go if you want solid sound in your car without spending a lot of money. For the iPod users just use an eigth inch audio link cable thru your aux input and don't worry about other models that are "iPod ready".

I bought this as an upgrade to my 96 Ford Thundrbird factory radio. I was amazed on how easy the installation was. The last radio I installed was an old Pull Out Blaupunkt 20 years ago. The installation took no more than 10 minutes (I confess that I did not need the face plate kit, but if I did I assume that it may of added 5 more minutes). I did the research and bought both the Sony and Ford wire harness before hand, and I needed them both.
Sorry to go on and on about the installation but it really was that easy.
Now to the radio ... The sound quality is amazing even with the factory speakers. The controlls are easy to learn and though I don't use the remote much it is a great add-on considering teens in the back seat controlling the radio. My iPod works flawlessly in the aux in-put. The CD player, I have yet to hear a skip even when I go over railroad tracks. The AM signal I no longer get "lost" when I enter a tunnel and the FM, I get stations from other cities that I never got with my Factory radio. The Xplod boost ... WOW.
I would say the only cons are that I may have to upgrade my factory speakers, though crisp and clear, they just can't handle the power, and no face case to store when I remove it.
Final note ...
As with all upgrades from Factory radios you have to factor in the added expence for both wire harness' ($40)and maybe the installation kit ($20). So a $99 radio can cost you $159 if you do it yourself or more if you have it installed.
Enjoy it ... I am.
