Picture is so much better than old tv still learning how to do the geek squad was great in setting it up

This TV has definite light bleed malfunction noticeable around the screen edges; the product quality and defect issues with this identified in earlier reviews remains. My delivery was early December 2015 - so defective merchandise is still in the pipeline and/or the problem hasn't been fixed.

I always own a Sony tv for the last 25 years. I have never been disappointed. The reviews were mostly good. People need to understand that this tv is the entry tv for a 4K Sony. I compared it to next level one, not much difference. For the price I paid for this tv. I'm very happy

We were buying this as a 2nd tv in our home. My biggest concern was matching the quality and rich color and depth of my Panasonic Viera Plasma. A Sony rep on site at Best Buy and a Best Buy associate that I spoke with both were familiar with the Viera and both individually said this was the only tv they had that I would be satisfied with. And so far, watching movies, playing games and also 3D movies, we have been very satisfied.

TV mated with my current wall mount easily. Easy set up when power was applied for the first time.

Before buying this Tv I read the reviews, but the reviews were half good and half bad. First off the thinness of the screen is amazing and the picture is good. There are a few issues, the first one is the heat from the bottom of the Tv and the major problem was the light bleed. During movies at the bottom of the screen you will notice the light bleed

I love this tv. It's so thin which makes it easy to move or mount. I watched a few 4K videos and the picture is amazing! Of course as usual with most tvs today, the speakers are awful. It sounds like you're listening to everything through a tin can. That's my only complaint. It starts up super fast and has a ton of apps. Definitely worth it for the price.

I would have given this 5 stars but the light bleed issue is distracting.at times. This set is perfect for watching Netflix in UHD.

Overall I really like this TV. The picture is phenomenal, the HDR feature is phenomenal, I bought a 4k blu-ray player and wow the picture is great. The tv is so darn thin I almost worry about transporting it because it flexes when you move it. The only downside is there is just a tad bit of white bleed in the corners of the tv. It is very minor and definitely not a deal-breaker, and you only ever notice it when the screen is black. Other than that a great TV that I recommend if you can get it at the right price.

I made my career in the entertainment industry (production and post production) using, almost exclusively, Sony equipment (monitors, VTR's , HDSR). Picture quality and color is extremely important in my line of work so I was upset that a quality company like Sony would allow this issue to go on for so many of us and that Best Buy would continue to sell this defective TV and NOW tell me that my issue can only be resolved through Sony. I would gladly return this and "upgrade" to a model that does't have the light bleed but instead I have to go through the lengthy process of sending emails, waiting for a response and who knows if I'll get a positive result. You have already taken my money: I want my TV now!

Really good tv for the price. It's a good purchase for the future of entertainment.

I purchased this tv last night, I was told by the sales person that it was one of the best tvs in the store, and that it was half off because of a sale going on. Come to find out, this tv has a serious bleed problem and it is quite obvious this is why they're on sale. Sony didn't impress me with this product and I'm kinda mad because I feel like I was lied to.

I read many reviews on bestbuy and had a few 4K TV in mind. went to the store and spoke to a Sony rep on site visiting that day. I happen to be looking at Sonys so he helped a lot. Had it for about a month now, very thin and pictures lol great. Thanks

the tv looks graet.good picture the size is great to watch nfl games. movis ect.

I bought this tv open box at my local Best Buy. One of my friends is a manager there and recommended it for the amount I had planned to spend. Overall I am pleased with the picture quality and the features the tv came with. I like all of the integrated apps, and both remotes are very responsive. The only downside is there is noticeable whitewash in the corners due to how slim the tv is.

The picture is beautiful and it's amazing to use. Very easy and simple, can't wait to get it mounted. Also it is thinner than the width of a pencil!
