Geek Squad did a great job of setting up our system. We have been enjoying our collection of 3D Blu-ray movies. Picture is very sharp, and colors are great.

I was in the market for a new TV and almost ended up purchasing a 4k TV for about $3k. I am very pleased that I did not and opted for this TV instead. It cost $1k less and the picture is fantastic. Once I figured out how to turn off the dreaded "Soap Opera Effect" I have been extremely pleased with the TV. The internet connectivity is very nice and the 3D is great. Now that I have watched a few things in 3D, it makes me wish I would have bought a larger screen!

I absolutely love the Sony KDL55W900A, which I purchased as a replacement for a previous Sony DLP TV from 2006 that was starting to exhibit some color issues. I spent many days comparing TVs online, and over 3 hours comparing the top of the line plasmas and LED TVs at a Magnolia store. The combination of price, PQ, and design led me to purchase this TV. I chose this over the best Panasonic Plasmas (ZT or VT models) because I have a mixed light viewing environment and wanted a vibrant picture even in daylight conditions. Source matters in all cases, and after calibrating the set with a Spears and Munsil disc, Blu-ray playback is crisp, with spectacular color reproduction and clarity. If you are in the market for a set that can perform in mixed lighting conditions, go with LED, and go with this Sony over the over featured and overly bright Samsung F8000 series.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this TV. Picture quality is phenomenal and definitely one of the best in the price range. I thought 3D wouldn't be anything special, but boy was I wrong. Disappointed 3D is being phased out right when I discover how awesome it is! Can't go wrong with this TV. No rating on sound or features since I don't use the tv for anything more than a display.

I have only had this TV for a few weeks but the pic is great, clear and sharp. I have it hooked up to surround sound system so I don't know about the sound. The 3d is nice and it comes with 4 pairs of glasses just remember to take the plastic that protects the battery and turn them on. I wanted a different brand but the Best Buy salesman talked me into the Sony and I'm happy he did.

I looked at this TV for a long time before I purchased and wouldn't make a different choice. The picture is crisp and I've watched just about every type of show and movie and it has not disappointed. The internet content is easy to navigate and the 3D is tight! It comes with 4 pairs of glasses so get your movie and get ready to be immersed in it! I highly recommend "The Avengers"!

Got the tv. Noticed how fast it was and it looked so much better than my older tv. It was really a come up. Love the size and smart apps there are so many on the tv.

Perfect pictures, easy operations, easy set up. 3d is amazing. Remote is. Easy to learn.

Other than a 4K UHD TV, this is the best picture I've ever seen. The smart features are fun and way cool. Now, all of our devices talk to one another easily. Much easier to maneuver and navigate than expected. Even the 3D, that we did not want, can be amazing. The 4 sets of 3D glasses was a nice, unexpected extra touch. Get a great HDMI cable and hold on!!! 5 Stars ***** :)

excellent picture quality, no blurring with great refresh rate, sounds great for tv speakers only, highly compatable with other Sony products such as PS3, still a little pricy but excellent quality - it is a shame they are exiting the tv market

For months I did my research on which television to buy to replace a 32inch Sony XBR. It came down to two televisions, the Samsung F8000 or the Sony W900A. After comparing the add on gadgets, picture quality and reviews from owners I settled on the W900A. I do own a Samsung television and really considered another but the reviews and spec comparisons made the choice. I am absolutely happy with my decision. Go to the store and see for yourself.

I like this tv a lot the color is great a long with a great picture. The only bad thing is the sound. I bought a sound box with it and that makes it a great . It is easy to set up.

Light and thin for a 55" TV. Mounted on wall. Clarity of picture is top notch and sound is usable without an external unit. Internet is easy to access. Blu-ray pictures are phenomenal. I did not buy it for 3-D, but have watched Blu-ray movies and this feature works well with included glasses. Many connections available.

I did some research prior to buying this TV and decided this was the one to buy. I've owned quite a few Sony products and with the exception of the Sony computers I've owned, I have loved every product. The picture on this TV is absolutely incredible. The first time we watched a movie on this TV, we were amazed at how much better the picture was on this TV compared to any other TV we've owned. The TV was very easy to install in a new home and setup was also very simple. I would not hesitate to buy this TV.

This is by far the best TV I've ever owned. Excellent picture, lots of useful features, easy to set up, and pretty great sound for a thin LED TV. It's well worth the price tag! This TV is just awesome!!

The 3D graphics are amazing and it came with 4 pairs of glasses, so the whole family was able to enjoy it immediately. The sound quality by itself (without using external speaekers) is out of this world. Easy to connect to the internet and access commonly used features like YouTube and Netflix. It has plenty of HDMI connections so all of our gaming stations could connect directly. Connecting external devices via wifi was a ltitle challenging, but a call to Sony customer service helped.

I love this new TV. The colors, especially the reds and blacks are terrific! The controls are simple and easy to use. It works very well with my existing Yamaha surround sound unit.

At first I bought the highest rated, 65" plasma but there were two main problems: it produced a lot of heat and, more importantly, there was no picture engine to up-scale the resolution from less than 1080p sources. So I switched to this Sony which produces a gorgeous picture and compensates for a less than perfect source by enhancing the resolution. No worries regarding burn-in and uses far less energy than the plasma, even at 55" it is way better. My son plays Fifa all the time and there does not seem to be any lag; he loves this set, too. I really believe it is the best out there for price, quality and overall viewing experience.

I purchased this tv after extensive research. I am a gamer and was looking to upgrade my 6 year old LG 42" LCD tv. I looked around and researched what would be the best tv to get and everything pointed to the sony 55". I have to say it is an amazing tv. When I first turned it on I was blown away by the picture quality. It's like you are right there in the action and not watching it on a screen. All the features of the tv work great, the sound is ok but would definitely sound better with a sound bar. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. If you are a gamer then this TV is a must have. It makes gaming so much better.

I love this tv. It was expensive, but assuming it lasts me a couple of years, totally worth it. Amazing picture and great features.
