Easy set-up. Great picture and sound without the need for a sound bar. I received a subwoofer and media player as part of the purchase price, but haven't used the media player yet. Ended up buying a new entertainment center to accommodate the TV. Our salesman was helpful explaining the differences between 4K and 1080P, as well as comparing the different manufacturers. I feel confident that we made the right choice and got a great price with late "black Friday" pricing.

Great product. Still using it to this day. Wish they still made a unique tv like this with side speakers.

Let me say this first. I'm not a professional, but I do have a level of skill when it comes to higher end audio/video setups. For the last 24 years I've been a Sony Loyal Patron. That's not to say that I don't look at other brands and see definite value in them. I have simply had the best of luck with Sony's quality. This 4-K Ultra-High Def TV is simply amazing. I've had no less than twenty friends and family over to my home since installation of this beauty. Every single person that walks in and looks at the image quality of this unit has their jaw drop in awe. The 3-D for this unit is simply AMAZING! My wife is one of those people that has never seen any value in 3-D, whether it be at the theater or at home. Consistently complaining that she simply cannot see the 3-D or reduced to headaches far too early on. With some wary concern we started to watch Guardians of the Galaxy in 3-D. SHE WAS BLOW-ED AWAY! For the first time, she has experienced 3-D the way it was meant to be. I believe it is simply due to the fact that the 4-K TV has the ability to run 3-D in a much higher resolution and better frame rate. It has changed TV and 3-D viewing for her from now on. The apps for this TV is as good as any other out there. I've seen lots of reviews slamming Sony for the "Lack" of available apps on their TV's. Personally, I believe there are too many, myself. I haven't counted them, but there is easily upwards of 100 or more apps on this thing. I will never get enough time to check them all out. What apps I have seen and/or used seems to be of high quality and work flawlessly. 4-K video on YOU TUBE is simply awesome. Audio. Two words. ABSOLUTELY ROCKING! This is a TV, but the sound, WOW! All that have been over, follow up the "Jaw Drop of Awe" with, "IS THAT SOUND COMING FROM THE TV?" The answer is always, "Yes, yes it is." It is not a replacement for a well positioned 7.1 setup. But together with the wireless SUB, it is surprisingly good. The list of bells and whistles on this TV is too long to go into deep detail. Everything on the unit is of quality. A high end theater experience awaits anyone that purchases it. Great job, Sony.

I have been a long time Samsung user, but, Sony has really upped the notch with this TV. The picture is absolutely incredible! Very vivid color, and the blacks look so much better, no "halos" in the deep black. It is a much heavier unit since it has the speakers built in, however the sound is very good, the Bluetooth sub sounds great. I rarely use the surround sound anymore.

Beautiful picture and color depth, paired with top sony blu ray. We have cut the cable cord and do most of our watching from the internet. This is where Bravia falls short. The internet interface is is clunky, slow and painful. Apps are poorly organized and as of yet can not add new apps outside of the list provided. Mirroring does not work c apple products or keyboards. A TV of this cost and brand should be able to provide decent internet access. It is an afterthought in this tv. Sound is not audiophile but high quality. Picture outstanding.

This is as good as it gets! Best picture! Best sound! Best Looking! Best promo! (free sub and Media player) BEST BUY! If you are in the metro Detroit area go see Saif and the guys in the magnolia department in Livonia (8 mile and Haggerty store) They are Professional and know their stuff! Get them while you can!

The Sony xbr900b is an absolutely stunning tv. The 4k is crystal clear. Upscaling is very good and natural to the tv. Colors pop. 3D was outstanding. Theater sound quality. This tv has blown me away. My friends are jealous of how good this tv is. Avatar in 3d made me feel as if I was right there. Sound and picture were unbelievably good. Better than theater by far.

As with most things that have lots of functionality, there is a learning curve but I'm getting there and enjoying this more and more every day. The video and audio are excellent and I only have one complaint. I wish there was a keyboard that worked directly with it for the Internet functions. Interestingly enough, my Visio Smart TV has a keyboard on the remote but this much, much, much more expensive Sony doesn't .

There is so much it can do I have not used half of it's features. Beautiful picture and great sound. The only negative is there is no printed manual. To purchase one is over $80. The people at Best Buy are always helpful and courteous. I am just electronically challenged.

Seemed pricey compared to other TV's. Expected to pay around $600 (lol) based on all the TVs you see in stores. But once you see this TV (and listen to it) there is simply no comparison. Seems like all TVs have great pictures these days so you probably don't have to spend this kind of money but we wanted the big screen once we saw it. Figured it was the last TV we would ever buy. Can't imagine how much better the picture will be when 4D is available from Comcast. Looks great sitting on its stand - we're very happy we got it. We went from a 42' to this with about a 9" distance - is perfect.

Going from a 40" 1080p to this 55" 4K was a leap into a new adventure! The subwoofer adds a new dimension to the world of sound. I've not watched any 4K films yet but that not withstanding I am totally satisfied with this unit! With sharp crisp clear images and superb color, it's great. Thanks Sony!

A great picture and wonderful sound characterize this TV. Most satisfied -- but Best Buy had to replace the original unit because the first one arrived with a flawed picture. How common this is I don't know.

Great picture quality, although motion comp out of the box is not optimal, introduces judder. Apps on-board includes Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube. Standard fare including the Sony solution. 4K support is up-to-date with an HEVC decoder, supporting all the new streaming solutions. Includes breakout connections box which is useful for wall mounts- includes HDMI 1-3, Coaxial, USB. Has HDCP 2.2 ports x 2, most others only have 1. These are the HDMI 1 & 2 ports. All HDMI ports are also version 2.0.

Picture quality is excellent, both technically & to the human eye. Samsung & LG may be catching up, but Sony still stands atop the mass market premium TV hierarchy based upon my extensive research of the 2014 4K models released by the Big 3. The X900B 55" is probably best suited for smaller living rooms or large bedrooms as its built-in front-facing speakers & promo-accompanied Sony wireless subwoofer don't pack enough punch to substitute for a wired surround sound speaker system in a full-size living room. (If you're going to spend this much for quality video, you'll want to complete the entertainment experience w/a comparable investment in quality audio. Otherwise, it's a bit lopsided.) The User Interface is a bit clunky, & the remote control looks & feels cheap. Overall, it's a great interim TV which we'll eventually move to the master bedroom & replace w/one of the new, ultra-thin OLED TVs as OLED screen reliability improves & prices descend.

I bought a smaller Sony Bravia when they first came out and have LOVED it ever since. This one provides the same excellent picture. I really love the new design of the screen and the sound is amazing. We especially enjoy the ultra high definition pictures. Wow!

My boyfriend had done a lot of researching on 4k tv and had his mind set to purchasing this tv. At first, I didn't want to because there aren't alot of 4k movies, etc out. But after purchasing this item and seeing the display and the 3d/4k resolution, I'm pleased with this purchase. I would definitely recommend it.

This TV is a bit huge at first with the speakers on the side, but the sound makes up for it. Don't count on it as a wall-mount without it looking obtrusive. Clear picture, great sound, and more features than I've figured out yet. The difference was clear between this Sony and the no-name that it replaced.

So very happy with this purchase. Best looking picture on any TV I've seen so far. The detail, colors, black levels are...simply stunning. "Immersive" is an understatement. Feels like there are people in my living room. TV is easy to operate and intuitive. I have a rather modest-sized living room currently and when paired with the subwoofer, the sound is also awesome. If I get in a bigger room I'll hook up the 5.1 system, but for now, it rocks all on it's own. Sony has done it again and this has to be the leader in UHD TV.

This is by far the best looking screen I have seen or owned. Sharp, great color and contrast and the speakers are outstanding. Most other TV's have tiny speakers on the bottom edge and facing down or 1" dia. along edge of screen and all these have a tinny and under powered sound.

You will not be disappointed with this amazing tv. It has a colorful, rich, vibrant image with UHD 4K resolution. It also has the best sound quality especially when it comes to watching movies. I'd definitely would recommend this to anyone that wants the best UHD 4K Smart TV!
