Awesome TV for the price, very clear. Excellent picture for both sports and movies. Only drawback would be the sound. Nothing a sound bar won't fix.

I was searching for a new Sony and this was on sale. I have a 14 year old 40 inch Sony LCD that works great but needed a larger TV. I like the TV but the manufacturers need to do something about the speakers in the large TV's as the sound blasts out of the bottom and not towards the viewer. The only issue I had was when turning the TV on I started getting a message at the bottom of the screen indicating no input and then the picture would come on. About a week later when I turned the TV on I had no picture and it wasn't the cable input as I disconnected the input and still no picture and no options. I called Sony and they said in Android TV's you need to do a hard reset/power cycle every now and then. I said that was BS as you should not have to do that on a $1,200 TV. Anyway it has not happened again. So I would recommend this product but pickup a sound bar or system.

Love the image quality. Decided on Sony quality after reading reviews of multiple brands. I partnered this with a Sony soundbar. Sound was okay without the sound bar - much better with the sound bar.

I bought this item for Christmas sale the TV is awesome , colors and clarity is superb for this 4K HDR tv, the only issue is sound is little low that is the reason I gave 4star. We are really njoying the TV with 4K movie from Netflix. Thanks to Best Buy.

Replaced a 7 year old 1080 LG for this Sony 850D 55 inch television. The picture is just amazing. The only issue that I have with this television is with the sound quality. For the price, I expected better audio on this TV. All in all, an excellent television.

The TV has great picture quality and the sound for a TV isn't bad either.... One down fall in the OS, on a few occasions the menu has froze and we had to unplug the TV to correct it which resets the date and time... Pain in the Arss

Wish could have kept it, but was too large for space in livingroom. Would definitely purchase if had larger space amd recommend it to others. Great picture size, clear and brightest colors ever!

Picture quality is second to none, great colors and crispness. Like most thin tv's the sound is not great. I purchased a soundbar along with it and together make an incredible viewing experience.

The picture quality is phenomenal. The in 4K upscaling makes non-4k video look great and since it connects to the google play store there are a ton of apps. You can even stream 4K video from Netflix.

I really enjoy watching movies on this tv...my grandkids love the PS 4, they claim it looks so real like watching a game. Clear picture, sharp, crisp.

Great 4K picture quality. Great HDR performance when viewing HDR shows on Amazon. Took me few days to get the picture to my liking but it was worth spending all that time. AndroidTV is amazing.

I bought this TV mainly so I could get the most out of my XBOX ONE S. The games like Tomb Raider and Forza looks so much better in 4K. Great TV for the price, you cant go wrong with a Sony TV.

I have been a loyal Sony customer for years so I expected the best from this purchase and I got it! The ease in setting it up, the amazing picture quality. It met all my expectations and then some.

The HD picture is really nice. It's not the top of the line model, but still has great clarity and depth. Would Recommend PURCHASING. TV is super light, compared to an LED or plasma. Good value.

Went into Best Buy to buy another brand of TV. Salesperson showed me the Sony and it clearly had a better picture quality. The price was the best of anywhere by far. Very happy with this purchase.

This tv is the best tv I have ever purchased. The color on this tv are beautiful and you can really appreciate how the HDR makes it look natural. No wonder it was the number one tv in 2016.

The set has an absolutely beautiful picture. However, we are having problem with the remote not working properly and the sound doesn't match the faces nor is the sound consistent on the Amazon app.

The Sony - 55 Class (54.6 Diag.) - 2160p - Smart - 4k Ultra Hd Tv With High Dynamic Range is an excellent choice. Easy set up, GREAT picture, very nice sound and did I say easy set up. Love it!

Great picture right out of the box, had purchased 2 LG' s around the same price first and the pictures were awful, even after hours of tweaking. Returned them and bought this Sony and a 55" same model. Picture was better right out of the box with the Sony.

Great quality picture...geek squad was completely professional and explained everything about the tv. The picture is amazingly true to life color and live programs never looked better to me
