Crisp, clean picture, very easy to use, overall fantastic

Before buying this TV I did extensive research comparing it to other brands with similar features. I read on-line reviews and spoke to different sales people in different stores. Each time I did a comparison I ended up coming back to Sony. Picture, sound, motion smoothness, processing speed can't be beat. I'm very happy with this choice.

Pros: Its been just 15 days that I bought the tv. Until noweverything seems to be awesome. Has all the features and apps that I need as it an android OS. Picture quality is also very good. No complaints about the TV itself. Cons: First and the foremost thing that I definately do not like is the TV remote. I does not work at times but it could be a problem with the OS itself. It will not accept certain commands from the remote, specially when you try to fast forward a video. I think the remote needs to be redesinged. Not user friendly at all. Second thing is the sound from the TV which is low but I live in an apt so not so much of a problem for me. But if you are looking for some quality sound it would be better to buy a sound bar or something.

Good features and great picture for a reasonable price.

We look around for a while and decided on this model because of th picture quality and price.

This tv is amazing. You have to be careful looking at tvs these days. The motion rate of 120 really is 60. 240 is really 120. Why they did this is beyond me. This tv has a beautiful picture. Worth the extra $.

Have had the TV for about a month. The setup was fairly straightforward and the picture quality was very good with the default settings (recommend the Cinema option) with brightness turned down. I had read about concerns with angled viewing, but notice very little reflection even though we have a large window on the side wall about 8' away. Getting the Bravia sync setup to work with my Pioneer receiver and Logitech remote was a bit of a challenge, but seems to work fine now that I let the TV control the power on/off for the receiver. Streaming content on the TV apps from Amazon and Netflix look very good, even just standard HD formats. The upscaling seems to be better using the TV app vs. streaming through our Roku or Tivo.

Excellent 4K TV with a clear picture and easy to use internet capabilities. Love the very sturdy and stable stand. We reviewed the competition and found this Sony 55" to be the best for the money. Best Buy salesman was knowledgeable and easy to work with.

In my opinion, Sony is still the best brand in Television. Great color quality, the natural effect is perfect. My family is a big football fun, this TV comes with a football live mode. Did I mention this is a smart TV and upscaling to 4K where available.

TV was easy to set up and operate. Cost was great!

The picture is excellent, which, after all, is what a good TV is all about. I have an 8 year old Sony that still functions fine but needed a second TV. Tried a Samsung and was greatly disappointed. The picture was not even as good as my old Sony. Lesson learned....stick with Sony. Excellent quality and very dependable.

great Smart TV picture and sound great. the price was very good for a 4k tv sony has great brand recognition. watching movies in 4k really puts you in the movie, I would recommend this tv to everyone

CLEAN & CLEAR PICTURE. EASY SET UP. GAMING IS GREAT

Amazing picture quality for the price and Sony just added HDR support via a firmware upgrade. Amazon streaming does not work for me. Sony says it should and Amazon says this TV is not supported. This is only a minor inconvenience as I have a Roku.

So after a long research process I decided to purchase this television I had an LG HDTV and I will never buy an LG again terrible quality all around picture looked like a tube tv with rabbit ear no matter the settings any who it came down to Sony and Samsung I went with the Sony because they are know for there supberb refresh rates and as guy who plays video games that what I wanted so I went and told the gentleman what model I wanted and they didn't have any he suggested I look at this one and I had researched it previously but it was out of my price range so the gentleman offered me a discount because him and I were both in the military and had the same job .. This tv is excellent and it will not disappoint 1200 is the max you need to pay for TV all the "features " are gimmicks buy this tv and you won't regret it !! And do your homework some salesmen will try to sell you a bill of goods with the fancy cables etc don't believe it home theater research is a hobby of mine and I know almost everything about the TVs out there and components etc so do your self a favor and buy a Sony or Samsung

I had a Sony before and went for Sony again, I also got a great deal in the open box section but it had a missing remote, which does take a huge experience away from the TV's smooth interaction. Had to return it for that, but I would love to get one back for the right price! Sony is truly the best brand of TVs!

This ultra hd tv replaced my sony projection tv I had since 2001. The movies are super sharp and sports events are incredibly sharp. Fantastic deal for 55 inch which replaced my 50 inch projection.

The picture quality is great but not the best For a 1000.00 dollar tv .. Remote not as responsive as older sony's I've used .. Wifi issues a problem every after a 45 minute software update. Wifi continues to kick out daily .. Emailed Sony so far no response.
