Set up takes about 30 minutes to download, but well worth it once it's done. Picture is clear and sharp. I have it mounted over a fireplace. Looks great from 10 to 15 feet away from it.

Great picture. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because if you aren't a techy kind of person, then you may have trouble figuring out the controls

I was able to go in purchase what I wanted with the help of a rep. He made it real easy. Also the set up with the tv was easy and went through steps to get it just right.

Purchased this TV with 3 other Sony televisions and not disappointed at all. The 4K will be helpful when the cable service catches up with the technology and capabilities of the TV. Sony personnel were helpful in maximizing my viewing experience and the staff at Best Buys were also very helpful. The best part is the clarity and picture quality. Sound was augmented with the Sony receiver and multiple speakers. Highly recommended.

Not only am I satisfied with my new TV and sound system I was even more satisfied with the service from the employees at Best Buy in TP.

I wasn't SUPER excited about the picture at first but, I tweaked the setup to my liking and the television itself was a good buy. I would give it an 8 out of 10. The only downside is the remote when doing a manual set up for the first time. Putting in the information for the first time was cumbersome and a little annoying. But, once it's set up, it's a pretty good buy.

Having owned Sony XBR products for more years than I care to remember has convinced me of the build quality and superior picture quality are a constant. This 54.6" XBR810C has not changed that history only better than the ones I have preciously owned. The picture quality is fantastic and the up-scaling is even better for non HD media. All this in a value-add package, could not believe the price - should have bought another one.

Have always bought Sony TVs and as usual this Tv has not disappointed me. Great picture & sound. Have recommended this to my daughter.

Love this TV great picture and dark blacks and also great for gaming i got a Xbox 1 and ps4 and both look beautiful really no lag! And Android TV can't beat it really love this TV!

Very happy with our new 55" TV. Everything as advertised and expected. Used the Geek Squad for installation -- well worth it. Picture quality exceptional. Nice to have a Sony again.

We bought 4k tv on sale, put on vibrant setting and colors are bright, just what we wanted. We did not really need a "4K" yet as Satellite tv does not have 4k programming, except for special occasions per the sales associate at Best Buy. However, in a couple years I am sure most programming will be up to 4k Our tv is mounted on the wall and works great so far. I have always liked Sony products and am glad we found one on sale

This is an amazing TV! Picture quality is exceptional. Only issue, we purchased a non-Sony sound bar and had difficulties connecting the two. Buy a Sony sound bar for best results.

As others have pointed out, the picture could be better at an angle, but it is not as bad as those reviews may lead you to believe. The upcaling engine is pretty good. For example, a DVD looks better on this TV than on my other 1080p sets. That alone eased some of my concerns when upgrading to 4K. This TV comes loaded with features, to the point of not knowing what is good and what isn't, and the interface feels over crowded at first, but you get used to it. I ended up hooking an HT-RT5 soundbar to it (also Sony) and I couldn't be happier with the experience. If anything, I regret not going a step up (4K 3D) for an extra 200 bucks.

Was an open box purchase. Only missing the nifty swipe controller but Best Buy removed the cost of that same remote from the price of the tv after I had called and mentioned that.

I'm a sony family specially for tvs, but this has everything that I was looking for, Great price, great pixels smart and android 4k , what else can I ask for... Although the volume is low it doesn't affectme because I use a Bose Speaker.

I looked around quite a bit before buying my new TV. Wanted a smart TV with a large screen and great picture quality. I had a feeling I would end up getting a Sony. This TV is super easy to use (set it up in about 5 minutes) and the picture is AMAZING. All at a very fair price, too. I get lots of comments about how awesome it is. I'm a big sports fan, and this TV makes me feel like I'm there! You will not be disappointed.

Can't say I am overwhelmed but it's a good TV. Sound is not good but set it up with a nice Polk sound bar. Ready for 4K but most shows still 720 so not much different than my old LG.

This tv is not bad for the price. There are more expensive ones that only look slightly better (that is if you're not buying an oled), and cheaper ones that I thought looked way worse. In my amateur opinion, great cost to quality ratio.
