sound quality excellent,also purchased a Sony 55 inch for another room. Both tvs are impressive.sony is developing great electronics. No 1 in my opinion.

I really like the definition I get on blu ray and the free 4k movie that came with ultraflix is a nice bonus.

Great picture quality with Android TV support. When I was researching for which tv to buy, this was my top choice in this price range. Not disappointed.

This was a great upgrade from my 42 in Toshiba Raza (2008 model). Loving the picture and the sound directly interfaces with my ARC complaint receiver.

The TV had great color and easy to set up. Only issue was it kept saying it wasn't capable with my direct TV box

Sony XBR55X is very good especially for Movies,Sports.Music and TV. Undoubtedly for Movies it gets an A+++

While the Sony TV is GREAT, your program sucks or is broken as I NEVER received any points for this very large purchase..I am very upset with BestBuy!

Excellent picture. Would suggest adding a sound bar for greater enjoyment.

I've owned several Samsung TVs, but this Sony 55' 4K is awesome! Almost no border and it is 2160p fast!

The picture is fantastic. The style of the tv is also great. One of my favorite tvs i have ever owned.

The TV is great we watch it in a small room and enjoy he quality of the picture and enjoy the wifi apps

Got this TV at best buy, was initially going to buy a inferior Samsung but walked out with this with the same cost

I was surprised by the features of this TV. I walked into Best Buy to replace a old 50" SONY WEGA TV without doing any homework or reading reviews which is a surprise because i normally have to study my purchases but my TV died and I needed a new one ASAP. I have always liked the picture quality of SONY and was looking for a SONY replacement. I also normally use an apple TV or a DLNA compliant box to stream movies for sources like NETFLIX, Amazon and from my own media server. The Best buy rep told me the SONY TV supported Android Apps. I am an apple guy and was not sure how i would android apps but I download Archos media app and codec and my media server has no issues streaming to this TV and the quality of video and color is superb. I am very happy with this set. as a 4K set i probably should have gone with a higher size TV btu i really boutgh this for its HDTV 1080 with app compatibility as my files at 1080 at most. it is a great set. Of course the sound on such a slim set will not be on par for home theater application but you will need to get a good quality sound bar or a surround sound set up but i am still using my older SONY 6 DVD surround carousel which I use only for the sound as I have digitized all my movie collection. This TV does the job i need it to nicely.

Sony is still my favorite TV manufacturer. I love my new flatscreen it was great for the Super Bowl.

This TV was a great value and the picture is very realistic. Sometimes it feels like it is almost 3D.

Great pic. Recommend using Smart TV features but makes a great tv even if you don't. Make sure you read directions when attaching to the stand.

Purchased TV, Wall Mount & Cable all at once. In store personnel promised all delivered to my home without a hitch. Very disappointed at delivery - NO Wall Mount NO Cable on his paperwork - Delivery man Steve Potyra saved the day - he and co-worker Andrew went out of their way to get Wall Mount and get TV up and Running - The In Store Sales worker and Manager fumbled, but Steve picked up the ball and ran for a TD - HOME TEAM WINS !
