I've had the Sony 55" for just over a month and no issues, haven't adjusted one thing, just powered it up! I started with a Samsung 65" (too big) and didn't like the curved screen, 2nd was a 55" Vizio, not impressed with the picture. Then upgraded to the Sony for a couple hundred more and the difference is absolutely stunning! The picture really pops! Easy to navigate the menu and app's. Even the sound was better, but not great of course, I have my stereo also connected so I'm using both for now. I read a lot of reviews on this set before purchasing and found nothing that caused any concerns. Of course time will tell, fingers crossed..... especially since I've never spent this much on a T.V but I'm loving it so far!

Love the picture on this display, 120hz 4K is amazing. Built in apps are awesome, Amazon video, PlayStation now, and the ability to control it using a PS4 controller is pretty neat. All in all a great buy!

Strangely, it only happens to me at 1080p. Turning the tv off, then on again, fixes that issue. The color array is not as high as top of the line 4k tv's. That won't be an issue until after 4k dvd players, and whatnot get released, though. If placed in a smaller room, it doubles as a space heater, so don't do that unless you intend to open a window when you use it. Not a big fan of the stand. It's a bit wobbly, but, not too bad. So, yeah, it's a great starter 4k tv. You would be really hard pressed to find one better at this price. Getting the 120fps at 1080p is a pain, as you need to set it up yourself, so unless you feel like doing that, don't bother trying. The compression artifacts are also annoying, at times. It rarely happens, and literally takes less than 5 seconds to fix when it does, so it's not a big deal for me. To get the 4k @60hz 4:4:4, you need to set the HDMI port to "4k enhanced" in the settings menu. As for calibration, it was pretty decent right out of the box. This isn't standard across the board for this model, mind you. Each TV is different, so, the one you get may need quite a bit more tweaking than mine. On the other hand, it may need far less. Gotta roll the dice, and hope for the best in this department. Picking up a calibration device, or disc, is recommended.

This is a really good 4k TV and upscaling is also really good definitely a upgrade from any 1080p TV that being said don't expect the picture of a higher end more expensive model but really good none the less.

We have been enjoying our Sony 4k HDTV since we brought it home. I particularly enjoy its ease of use (since it is a Google tv) and how easy it is easy to set up (i.e.: connect to home wifi). We've had issues having the internet cut out. After several calls to Comcast Wireless Gateway department, I have since learned that Smart TV's have a certain security setting that can interfere with connecting to a home wifi. After 3 calls to Sony Support (in addition to the calls to Comcast), I ended up resetting the TV back to factory default settings, reconnecting and resigning on to our app's (through the tv) and no more issues with internet connectivity. We are enjoying the streaming and high quality picture daily.

Great TV so far. We have only had it for a couple of months but its very clear and pretty easy to use especially since tvs have gotten a little more complicated with all the other stuff they offer.

I love my 4K Sony you can stream YouTube 4K videos for free right from your smart apps! Look very clean and Xbox one and ps4 look great on this tv

This television has a great, clear picture. The 4K feature shows wonderful clarity even at long distances in the picture. We have adjusted the picture to our liking, but it often reverts to factory setting. Overall, a great picture in a good television.

I mainly use it as a gaming/Netflix machine and it has met all of my expectations. Very easy to set up with my PlayStation and Xbox and I believe there is a significant difference in graphical quality. I got it while on sale and have never looked back. I always have gotten Sony TVs and after this purchase I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I love my new TV. The picture quality is just Amazing!!!! Sound without sound bar is great as well. I was going to go with the Samsung but the refresh rate for the Samsung was half of the Sony TV. For $100 more, I feel like I got a better product. Chaiz, my sales rep, was so knowledgeable on the products and assisted me in finding a better quality (without pressure). Geek Squad....never again will I install anything else without them. They were amazing. Disposed of my old TV and hooked me up on the new one. Efficient and amazing!!!!

I purchased this TV just before Christmas to replace my 46 " sony. The difference is amazing. The colors are so true and lifelike and the detail is excellent. Very easy setup and startup.

My PS4 and Xbox One looks great on this tv, and you can't beat the price point for all of the features it comes with. Don't poo away your money on the higher-end sets... Best advice

We just love the quality of this TV. We are usually puchase Samsung products, but love the quality of our Sony. TV was easy to setup.

This TV is awesome, easy to use, picture looks wonderful!! But make sure to purchase a good HDMI cable in order to get best quality.

Excellent 4K TV has a fantastic picture and is extremely easy to hookup and program. I can't wait until more programs are broadcast in 4K so I can make use of it's technology.

We bought this TV as an open box. The only issue was that the tag said no missing parts. When we got it home, the owners manual was missing as well as the screws needed for mounting the base. A quick trip to Home Depot solved the missing screws issue. There weren't a lot of adjustments on the TV regarding the picture. Fortunately, the factory settings were good enough. If you like to do a lot of tweaking of settings to get the just right pic for your eyes, this might not be the right TV for you. Again, I had no problem with the factory settings. And yes, like most flat screens, you will need a sound bar/base.

I could not be any more happy about this TV! The picture quality is superb and even the sound has clarity to it. This TV's ability to upscale the picture is incredible!

My best experiences with Sony TV have been at Best Buy! They get tons of open boxes and reduced prices that make these TVs a sweet deal, keep an eye out at Best Buy for these deals as Sony TVs are really worth the money. This one does a great job at 4K and android TV features are awesome. Want to have a browser in your tv, this one has it, want an app store, this one has it! What else do you want?

The set up is easy. The picture quality is perfect. The adjustments to picture are very easy.. I have not watched any 4K as of yet. My salesman was very helpful.

Pros: -4k looks awesome when you can find content -Picture quality is fantastic with deep blacks and vivid colors. I chose this one because it was ranked as one of the highest in contrast ratio and response time. I've had it for about a week now have used it as a monitor for 4k pc gaming, to watch movies and to just browse the web. It looks great and performs well at every task. Cons: The corners do appear a bit brighter than the rest of the tv because it is edge lit, but this is only slightly noticeable when displaying a black screen, doesn't bother me at all. Well worth the $999.99 on sale.
