This Sony television is rated slightly below the next higher Sony model...but the next model is $600 more and the difference in viewing is not worth the extra money as this model is superb. The smart TV functions and picture clarity/quality are more than one could want. the speakers are a little lacking and I chose to buy a cheap sound bar which was better than the built in which was disappointing. Pros: Price, picture quality, smart app functionality, 4K clarity, Amazing setting selections (numerous), ease of use (no need to read a 10 page manual to figure it out) Cons: Sound quality poor despite the many sound enhancing options.

Picture is fantastic.....as long as you're not sitting off at an angle. High amounts of color saturation is lost when not viewing the TV head on.

Great picture quality, This TV excels in all areas: movies, tv, gaming, and especially as a PC monitor. The Android TV OS is pretty good. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this after my LG flatscreen broke. While I was reluctant at first because Sony TVs are generally a bit more than other brands, it was SO worth it. The picture quality is amazing and the build (bezel, screen, inputs) demonstrate Sony's focus on quality, not other brands who have all the 'cool features,' yet they are cheaply made. My advice, you get what you pay for. Not going to consider another brand again.

This 55" tv was on sale and my wife and son decided to get it to replace the 32" old crt tele in our basement. What an upgrade! The picture is sharp amd crisp. I can make out the netting behind the glass in an ice hockey broadcast. Guided setup via my android phone was a snap. The sound is the only low mark. It's just meh. Otherwise a great choice for us.

The picture have a good quality. Nice for good movies . Amazing for futboll. Very nice colors

When this TV is on sale it is a absolutely great buy. if you are into high definition and are planning on stepping into the world of 4k streaming this is a great place to start. The darkness of the dark is impressive for the price.other advantages include being a smart tv and has its own Netflix button. Cant g wrong with sony.

I searched a while for a TV and this one seemed to have all the right specs for the right price. So far so good. The only problems I've had are related to responsiveness. Sometimes buttons will take a few pushes before responding and a handful of times I've had to unplug the TV because it wouldn't turn off. The built in chromecast is hit or miss too. I wish it was always active, but about 50% of the time it goes dark on us. However, between the smart tv functions and our roku, there is seldom need for the chromecast.

Has an awesome picture. Easy set up and ready to go. Amazing graphics with video games.

I was shopping for a new TV and the saleswoman at BestBuy walked me through several models until we came to this one. The picture was better than the others and priced competitively. After having it in my home for several days now, I couldn't have picked a better TV

Great picture and easy set up. Remote buttons are a little close for searching. Quality in light room good, not many reflections.

Only had TV for about 2 weeks but so far I'm very happy with it. I was a little concerned about the 120 refresh rate, I had a plasma before this, that's why I chose the sony over the samsung. The motion rate has impressed me so far as well as the overall quality of the picture. Very satisfied and glad I chose sony.

Watching this TV takes you to new level! I feel like I am there and so three dimensional it unreal to be so real! The smart option enhance the viewing experience at every level and allow me to use my in line accounts like Netflix ! Easy to set up and use!

This was a great choice in a buy. The tv quality is excellent. There is more to do on it for a smart tv plus the UHD makes regular channels look like there in HD. i love it in the near future willing to purchase another.

This picture quality is excellent especially for the price. I tried another brand 4K TV and was extremely disappointed and replaced it with this Sony. VERY happy with the picture quality with the standard def programs that my daughter watches a lot of. There is no Judder in the picture and up-scaling works very well. The black's are not as dark as my original Plasma but that was to be expected

This TV was easy to set up and is easy to use. The picture is very nice and sharp.

With such a great selection of HDTV's its a little intimidating to decide. I spoke with store rep Chris D. and he took the time to explain the specs between the various brands and models and why the cost varies. After the quick lesson I decided to the Sony 55" XBR Class and I'm very please with my purchase. The picture quality is great and it goes well with the PS4 I bought the same day.

The Sony TV was delivered and installed very quickly by Best Buy technicians. The optional sound system is a very big plus for movies and streaming, adding a big, lively sound that matches the big picture. I am very pleased with my purchase, the technical explanation by the in-store rep, and the post-installation response to my small number of questions. Best Buy lived up to its name.

We have only owned the TV a few weeks now but so far we have been very pleased with it. The picture quality is excellent. We don't use the internal speakers because we have a theater system. Over the years we have been satisfied with the Sony products we have purchased and feel this will be no exception.
