Vibrant and Amazing Picture

Recently purchased this Sony - 55" Bravia 7 II True RGB. All I can say is I am stunned at the vibrancy, clarity, and quality of this television! Coming from a 5 year old Sony OLED that was itself a top quality tv, I was initially reluctant to make this move to the next generation of Sony television. Have always been a Sony person dating back to the 13" Trinitron push-button (13 channel) model!! So, this RGB leap is astounding. Having gone to YouTube and viewed the 8K-12K Ultra HDR, makes this TV shine, quite literally (see attached photos, face and multi-color ball). The color brilliancy and range will make your jaw drop... makes you proud of your purchase decision! Regular (SDR) tv is great too. This is where a majority of your time will be spent and the 7 II RGB will not disappoint. I was fearful of blacks not truly representing accurately but I have not noticed anything annoying, or alarming. Blooming is almost non-existent (see attached black rose photo)... but if you want to be a true OLED person, I am sure you could find something to pick on. One minor complaint, and it is probably owner error, is that whites can be overwhelming sometimes, especially at night in a dark setting. I do run the TV in "Professional" mode so it negates the "auto-dimming" function with my current settings but I feel confident I can come up with a solution without degrading the picture quality! That is the only thing I can whine about, and as mentioned, probably my fault (still in my rookie season). Lastly, I have paired it with the Sony - BRAVIA Theater Bar 7 + Sub, all I can say is WOW, more horsepower than I need!! I am good to go for at least the next five years and some!! Highly recommend the Sony - 55" BRAVIA 7 II... you won't regret the purchase!!

This is by far the best TV in its class I’ve ever watched. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone…the RGB I believe is impossible to top given current levels of technology.

This is our first RGB televisions and we love it. The colors are sharp. The control is very easy to operate. We have a soundbar, we noticed there is no place for an optical wire to connect to the television. It isn’t needed, as the soundbar can connect via Bluetooth. Very happy with purchase.

It’s super bright. I like that it’s real rgb led vs oled cause of burn in issues because i game a lot. Using game mode and VVR option I can finally play Xbox series x 4k 120hz.

This is a great television. We purchased this 55" for the bedroom and the 65" for the living room. This one is great for a darker room like a bedroom, but we opted for the BRAVIA 9 series for the living room because it has a glare free screen. Really glad we did but you can't go wrong with either set. Both have a beautiful picture!

Sony True RGB is a game changer!

This is a fantastic TV for any room in the house. OLED was my preferred choice but picture burn-in can happen if you're not careful. Not with this TV. The picture quality is great especially for bright rooms. The screen is semi-gloss finish and helps with the glare. Spend some time adjusting the settings and you wont miss your old TV.

The tv in in our great room and I had a Bravia tv for 11 years and it stopped working. I like the Bravia tv that I bought basically the same tv but the newer Bravia. The picture is so much brighter that I’m going to enjoy this tv.

Best Smart TV on the Market

For decades, Sony has produced some of the best TVs in the world. The Bravia line continues this tradition. The picture is incredibly vibrant, as good as any on the market. The big difference though is it incorporates Google’s Gemini AI. This allows it to maximize picture quality for each individual movie or show watched. For older movies, it adjusts the pixels so you do not get that fuzzy look that other TVs give to older works. If you love old films, this is the TV for you!

Bravia loyalist sad. Best Buy lied.

First, my experience with Best Buy was awful. Told me I’d get a discount by opening credit card and only got credit for future use I won’t make. Salesmen were like a swarm a competing and ill-informed hornets. Never again. I’m on my 5th Bravia and love much about it, but hate being tied into google or forced to use inefficient work arounds. Using my audio system is a pain the keeps giving with the limited options and “oops” on this. Sad to say goodbye to Bravia but this is my last. Samsung will be seeing me.

Great picture, limited photo display for Wall art

This TV is a great TV. We purchased it because it offered the newest technology, and in that regard, it absolutely delivers. However, one of the main reasons we chose it was for the matte, picture frame effect when the TV wasn't in use. We discussed nearly everything we thought we needed to with the sales associate, who was very helpful. Unfortunately, we were never told that a single selected photo can only remain on the screen for a maximum of one hour before the TV automatically changes to screen saver mode. There is no option to disable this feature and simply leave one photo displayed. This was extremely disappointing, as the picture frame feature played a significant role in our decision to purchase this particular TV. Had we known about this limitation beforehand, I would have chosen a different television.

WINNER for BEST PICTURE

We are so happy with this tv. The picture is incredible and the customer service we received from the staff was superb. It did take a little bit of time figuring out how to set it up, but once it was done it was perfect. The only issue we have is the remote as it is not backlit, which is kind of a necessity as it is being used in the bedroom primarily at night. So we splurged and got a Roku box too. Now we have the best of both worlds!

I have only had the TV for a month but love the picture quality and the color. Screen brightness is also excellent. It is in our great room and the external light doesn’t affect the picture quality significantly. I have it hooked to a soundbar so I can’t comment on the TV’s speakers. Very happy with the purchase. Time will tell if the durability of the TV is there.
