Went into Best Buy wanting to buy a new TV, but very unsure about features, value, etc. had an extremely helpful sales associate who helped us navigate the televisions and gave us great advice without being pushy. We ended up buying this one and have been very happy with it so far

Have had 2 problems in in its lifetime. Sound bus clicking and static strip on the screen. Both were repaired under warranty. Would’ve sucked more if I didn’t have that warranty. Besides that it’s been nice. Nice picture and sound when it works

I went to the store with one TV in mind, only to find out that the TV wasn't in stock. The Best Buy employee, Allie, was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. With her recommendations, I decided to buy a Sony 4K instead, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

They tried to talk me into the Samsung Q6F, and I should have listened. The Sony X800E was easy to setup and get running, but I ran into problems right out of the box. It started with laggy functions from the remote. When pressing anything on the remote, it would take 1-2 seconds for anything to happen on screen. After having the TV for one day, it would no longer connect to WiFi. I gave up after spending over eights hours on the internet trying to fix the issue, and hooked up an ethernet cable. Even then, it would disconnect once the TV was turned off, and in order to get it to reconnect to the internet, I would have to do a factory reset EVERY time I wanted to connect. After having the TV for roughly two weeks, it began randomly running through the Android logo screen when the TV was turned on, like it was out of the box, and then, believe it or not, it started turning off by itself. The last straw was when the left side of the screen became darker than the right. Besides the the aforementioned issues, the TV is also hard to view in the dark, and while the contrast of the TV is pretty good, the blacks are not very black, which becomes very noticeable when the lights are out, with the black frame around the TV. And, although not a huge issue, because I'm sure most hookup a sound bar or another external audio source, but the sound on this TV is pretty underwhelming. Thankfully, even though I was over my return/exchange period, the wonderful people at Best Buy in Ann Arbor, MI allowed me to exchange it, and I upgraded to the 55" Samsung Q6F, which I have had for nearly three weeks now, and I am VERY happy with it. I won't review that TV here, but I am going to write a review for it in the proper location. I will say everything about it is better than the Sony X800E, though.

The television has a wonderful picture quality. It was very easy to program.

This was the second XBR800 series TV I purchased because I liked the first 65” one very much. This 55” one went in a different room and it did not disappoint. Sony makes excellent TVs and the remote interface is very easy to use. I highly recommend this product.
