Great product! I would recommend this product. It met my expectations.

This TV broke within the first 6 months. Trying to get Sony to fix it under the warranty is becoming a nightmare and we can’t return to Best Buy because of their poor return policy. According to online forums, the screen freezing with just the Sony logo is a known issue. We also own a Samsung and Vizio - both of which have never broken and are still going strong after 5 years. But anything other than a Sony! Waste of money.

This Sony I decided on after weeks of research and testing models. I usually only buy a tv once every 8 yrs or so, so I buy ones that last- last one was a plasma. The SONY is an excellent tv so far, very rich colors- one of the reasons I liked this line of model. The 800 series is a good buy for the price, competes even with some of the much more expensive ULEDs that are now on the market. And since its a android tv, no need for any other devices to stream media - it comes with all the apps you could need - Hulu, Amazon, Netflix and many more...plus they are not preloaded so it wont bloat you r tv performance. I highly recommend this tv to anyone looking for a mid range high quality 4K Ultra.

I went on vacation for 1 week and I came home to this. I’ve only had the TV for a month. If only it still qualified for a return I would’ve returned it. I’m very disappointed in this TV. Same thing also happened to the 75” i got and luckily that still qualified for a return. Didn’t expect this kind of quality from sony

Glad to have spent a little extra on a smaller TV but also get better quality at the same time. Was worried I'd regret this purchase but it's everything I was looking for in a TV. Picture looks great, the smart features are easy to use and it was easy to set up (though the IR blaster took me off guard).

Very happy with this TV purchase. The picture quality is outstanding and the smart features are easy to use. I will say there is a slight lag time when trying to adjust the volume from the remote, but that seems to be the only issue.

I jumped from HD to 4K and made a really great buy. The store associates were awesome in helping me pick this television out. This television does not have true blacks like an OLED television, but for someone who just wants to get a better picture with a 4K television this television is awesome. The HDR on this TV is fantastic and creates a better picture then my Sony HD television. I am very happy with the bigger screen as well. The color is fantastic and you can change it to fit your preference. This is not the best tv on the market but it is a great TV for the price range i was looking for. Great picture and color! The remote is a piece of junk, unable to program with directv! The stand is also a piece of plastic junk if you have kids rethink buying this TV, unless it Is wall mounted.

I bought this TV to replace a 50 inch professional plasma monitor with an incredible picture but no HDMI inputs. The new Sony has an equally good picture plus builtin smarts for streaming services like Netflix (the main reason I wanted HDMI in the first place; so I could plug in a Roku) But there is so much more. Voice control, seamless connection with my Android phone and everything on my home network. Now I can effortlessly look at photos stored on my laptop or my phone, play music into my sound system, search for interesting programs, and more.It also has an optical audio output to route all incoming sound sources to my stereo. I love this TV.

Although this is not quite as nice as the 900E version (with FALD), this set produces a very nice picture and is quite nice to watch. Depending on when you buy, and whether the sales are really strong or not, moving up to the 900E may be in your budget. If it is, I absolutely recommend doing so. But, if the 900E is a little more than your wallet can handle, you won't be disappointed in the 800E. If you put the sets side-by-side and put them through their paces, you will see some subtle improvements with the 900E. But, if you can't run them side-by-side, you really won't see the difference. The set does an excellent job at upscaling content and does a very good job of rendering DVD's or BluRay movies with an excellent picture. Streaming content is excellent overall and your satellite or cable content will look nice as well. The single biggest recommendation I have for your input signals is to let them send the signal in native format if at all possible and let the TV do the upscaling. Allow your satellite and cable boxes to send in the original format and don't allow/force them to upscale to 1080 (1080 should NOT be the only output quality selected in your box).

Great tv !! Watching movies or playing games amazing

The TV is the best looking option from a construction and room presence point of view. Video picture is fantastic as well, although the blacks are not quite what I was used to on my plasma. HDR capability more than makes up for it. The software on the TV is also incredible. I have over the air TV and this thing has a tv guide for it... I never expected that, and it's a really nice feature. Because it is a Google TV, it is also incredibly easy to cast your phones screen or content on the TV... you don't need to install anything! It just works.

I purchased this item about a month ago. The picture clarity is fantastic, and I was able to connect the TV to Alexa in just a few short minutes. Everything just works. This TV is best suited to an external audio system. The builtin speakers are not the best, but you can definitely hear everything that is going on on-screen. It is just better with a surround sound especially when wathching 4K movies with enhanced sound.
