She answered my follow-up questions, and so I was able to cull out others, and I selected this one. It takes up where my Sony Wega left off. I don't care to use my smart phone to control or set this up so the remote took are of that. The set up is thorough enough for me. The picture is great. My sound is processed thru another Best-Buy purchase, a Yamaha hooked up to seven speakers. So I do not know how it sounds. I really could not tell the differences between this model and others selling for lots more, so I am content.

Sony 55 inch

Great picture and sound

Just wish that it had an additional RCA "Red, Green, Blue" input for our VCR, Blue Ray Player and Nintendo WII. HDMI doesn't work for every device that we have.

Quality TV

One problem was pairing it with an older BOSE Sound system but that is being overcome. The Sony Receiver running the sound system is good and the speakers in the TV itself are good.

Has a lot of available features as a Smart TV. Was easy to setup and start using the features. Compatible with both Google and Alexa for those that enjoy remote handling.
