High Quality HDTV w/hdr
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to go bigger (60"), but the Best Buy associate convinced me, that for my budget ($800-900), I would not find a better quailty picture than with this model. I have the Directv HD package, and upgraded from a standard Toshiba HDTV, and the difference is astounding...! You know how perfect they look in the store? Well, I was shocked to see the same picture quality at home - it's simply stunning. And to boot: it's an Android version, so I control it with my phone, and can do anything on my phone, using the tv screen for my view. Setup was fast, easy and effortless. A+++++

Beautiful visual, horrible software

Con: The MAIN flaw: the response time from remote to TV is frustrating. I don't know if it's the TV itself of a software bug Sony could fix in the future but it's annoying. Bottomline: great for the picture, but would definitlely recommend a better model if you've got the $$$

My only hesitation was in purchasing a "smart TV" because I wasn't sure I was sufficiently tech savvy. However, I had the TV delivered, and once the TV was connected to my Internet service, I found it very easy to operate.
