Fantastic image and good sound. We looked at dozens and picked this. It worked great right out of the box. Setup was easier than I could have imagined. I will probably buy another one for my other room. Price dropped after purchase (3 weeks) and Best Buy honored their price guarantee without question.

Our former TV went kaplunk that day, so we went to Best Buy to see the TVs they had, and this was stood out beyond the others in terms of how it played! After we chose it, we then learned the price stood out as a great value!

I was a bit skeptical about this t.v. performing up to the standards I have come to know over the past few years buying a little higher end Sony T.V.'s with better Specs. meaning (higher refresh rates at 120 to 240hz.) and motion rates at 960. However, this still is one of Sony's XBR models so decided to give it a try and I have to say the colors are vibrant, greens, blues, and reds stand out nicely watching in 4k or even in 1080p. no flicker to the image very nice quality comparable to the higher end models with better specs. The motion on this television had me worried about blurriness during sports being only 240 but this television holds up nicely to the other Sony 4k t.v I bought in 2015 the Xbr 55x850c which has a motion rate of 960 no discernable difference between the two. This model also has a lot deeper black levels than expected which is nice, not quite the inky tone you get with Oled of course but better than you will find from most in this class and the HDR I have used while playing on the PS4 Pro really adds a more lifelike color pallet to anything utilizing it. Lastly, the build and overall look of the T.V. is very nice quality, controller easy to use and set-up to work with a cable box for a one controller set-up works with a PS4 nicely also. Great buy for this price range.

I picked this over an 8 series Samsung and I don’t regret my decision. The picture quality is perfect. It has a very slick design. The WIFi connection is solid. The sound is okay but that is why you get a sound bar. The secret of this TV is the androidTV versatile OS. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use. I am an iPhone user and most apps now support chromecast mode. It is amazing. Totally recommend it. Sony Brand always been a bit pricy but Best Buy has and amazing deal going on when I got it. Totally worth the investment.

I had an old Sony Bravia (2010 model). Never had any issue. Bought this one after i move to east coast. Amazing picture quality. So far no issue. Easy to set up and can sync with ur phone or laptop. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for qualotyvtv.

I've owned several Sony TVs and have never been disappointed. This one is no exception. It has a great picture and is easy to connect and control. 55" is a nice size if you'll be sitting 8'-12' away. It's an excellent value if you're interested in a 4K TV.

This is my first television of this size. The picture is brilliant the football mode is even better. The only complaint I would have, is that the remote control to be more responsive and quicker to my commands. I really don't use the voice control feature of the remote at all.

I bought this TV with high expectations and was very pleased. I had previously been buying Insignia’s for price and being happy but not necessarily impressed. This TV changes all that, the color is great, the price is great, and I’m satisfied!

I looked around for several months before purchasing this Sony HDTV as I knew my current TV was on its last legs. I really didn't get consumed by all the technical information like many buyers do. I knew I wanted a Sony as I have never had anything but the best of results with their products. I made several trips to Best Buy to personally take a look at the Sony product line and talked to several different Best Buy associates. Depending on who you talked to you would get many conflicting opinions on what to buy. I am a retired guy and like to watch a lot on sports - this TV is excellent for football. I really ending up as most people do and picked out the best product I liked for the money I felt justified in spending. In my conclusion this model is the best you can get for the price. If you buy it - you will enjoy it !!

We have both the 55 and 65" version of this TV. The 55" version is better in my opinion because the remote is better (there is a delay with the 65" TV remote for some reason). The picture quality is great and it has all the apps I need.

I have been very impressed with the picture quality and ease of use on the remote. The only negative is that I didn't put this TV in my office so that I could watch it regularly. My wife is the primary viewer of this TV and show loves it.

I have not purchased a TV in over six years, what a tremendous advance it is now with a combination of applications on your phone and the ones on the TV and be able to combine those. It makes the process so much easier to select quickly and watch your favorite shows. I always wait quite a bit of time before upgrading my technology, to make sure it is well worth the purchase, I got to say this TV is very intuitive.

This tv has such clarity. The colors are so rich. The smart features of the tv are a little overwhelming but I guess what I don’t know won’t matter. The salesclerk was very knowledgeable so we felt confident in our purchase.

The picture quality on this tv is great. Being that this is Sonys triluminos display which gives eye popping colors and nice detail, you can't go wrong with this purchase especially at Best Buys recent pricing at $799.00.

Excellent picture, very good sound, very good voice interaction for smart functions. Not so good usb interconnection, only works for memory stick, not for Android smart phone and of course not for iPhone. Shows off best for real 4K content but even non-4K content looks better than HD. Sony's HDR is great!

Returned my "50" entry level Sony 4k for this 55 "mid level" Sony and I Love it, Im not clear on the mid or entry level tvs so im just going by what Best Buy techs told me...but this 55 inch has Clear picture, clarity, everything!! My only tiny issue is that this model makes an awkward "Tick" noise when turning on, and my 2016 model 4k Sony doesn't do that....will take a lil getting used to but non the less wonderful product and features, built in chromecast so u can cast to ur Tv is the best invention ever. Definitely worth the money. dont get the 50inch get the 55!!

Had the 800. Upgraded for a few hundred more to the 900. This tv is miles better than the other. The darks are so much better than the 800. Im a huge fan of sony tv now. Did have the volume quit on us once. Unplugged and replugged and the volume works again. That issue does have me nervous for a tv thats two weeks old. Hoping thats not a recurring habit. Overall tho the picture which is why we all watch tv is supurb. I use a roku so i dont use it as a smarttv. Only thing we stream with tv is google play and 4k quality is the bomb. I would recommend this tv to anyone.

I didn’t realize how much tv’s changed in t last 8 yrs. This one is slim, less bulky, more pic area. T clarity of t pic is accurate and precise & with t high dynamic range it creates the sense of depth.

I was originally looking for a Samsung 55 as I had. Samsung 40 in for 10 years. I was very impressed with the Sony picture even more than the Samsung. They are both great. I was pleasantly surprised with the built in add ons with Netflix and YouTube built in. I got a great price and found it online with Best Buy for $100 less than I paid the day before. I called the number on the receipt and in less than a day they gave me back the difference. Great service everyone was professional and pleasant. Thanks Best Buy for a great tv and service.

State of the art product, with nice contract and definition, image stability ans simple to use. A real fine product if you look for quality. The best product you can buy for your money.
