We were shopping around for a new TV and I couldn't be happier with this unit. Great picture quality, vivid colors. It feels like I am in the stadium when I am watching a football game.

It is still early but so far this TV is a nice upgrade. Picture is nice and it was fairly easy to set up. I really do not use this tv for its apps so it did take time to go through the set up menus but once I finished and I turned on my XBOX One X, I was able to see that I was viewing in 4K. Still need to do some tweeking but all in all, 4K, HDR, 55 inches with a reputable name brand, all for under 800 dollars.

After researching many larger and same size sets and previewed all of the sets at my local Best Buy. For the money, the picture quality on the Sony 800e has a fantastic picture. It was well worth it, if Sony had offered the 850e in a 55” Model I would have purchased it, however they did not. But no regrets with my purchase. Only con is what everyone else had mentioned and that’s the delay in response between the remote and the tv itself. Other than that I’m extremely happy with. The 55” 800e.

Love this TV. The picture is excellent with great colors and contrast. It was displayed in the store next to the non-HDR, the difference is dramatic and it's HDR ability really makes it shine. The smart end of the TV is fast allowing Netflicks to be viewed without buffering and delays. WiFi setup was a breeze. I was surprised at how much lighter it weighs than the 9 year old 40" Sony it replaced. Great TV!

Love the tv. Great tv! Love the HD and that I can access the Internet with this tv. There are so many functions to this tv that eventually I need to learn more about.

Quick and easy setup, with exception of built in Chomecast, but did figure it out after researching online. Picture quality is second to none. Internet setup very easy.

This tv offers all the advantages of the new 4K HDR and smart tv technology, at nearly half the price. Distinguishing shades of black and dark images is its only drawback, and is not significant enough to limit this tv from your consideration.

I purchased this TV about a month ago, and a month in, I rate it very highly. The picture is crisp and the sound is amazing. My measure of a good picture on a tv is how nature films look and they look amazingly well on this Sony. I have a 32" Sony Bravia in the bedroom which has been a great tv (not a smart tv) but I haven't watched it since getting the 55" one. I feel that whatever I am going to watch will look so much better on the new one, there is no point disappointing myself.

Had to quickly get a new TV and no time for much research. Trusted the Best Buy associate and don't reget it one bit. It took me a little to get used to the menu and how to interact with the TV (I'm not an Android user) but no problems. Initial setup was quick. Connection to the sound bar took a little. Picture quality is fantastic with deep blacks. Regular BluRays are very crisp and almost 3D like. Overall very happy so I purchased a second one for my daughter. She loves it...

The tv was fairly easy to setup by one person. I would prefer the stand that comes with it was a. swivel stand. I did not use the google features. Connecting to the internet was easy. I found picture settings online that have worked well.

No eyeglasses needed with such a large screen. Gift from hubby since insomnia has kicked in...great quality and price is reasonable. Highly suggested product.

This TV had great reviews and I am not disappointed. Easy to set up and great picture. Still trying to figure out how to download browser to access Internet.

Picture quality is very good. Better than real life. Sound is good too. Easy to setup. Control & Tv navigations is very easy. Love that I can download apps.

I looked at both Samsung and Sony and chose the Sony. Great picture, lots of features and lets me access myc Netflix 4K content. Really happy with the TV.

I most likely will.be returning this tv soon. Picture is clear....it's biggest perk.. But apps freeze...ESPECIALLY YouTube... I am using a replacement from the original, problems got that bad. Reset didn't work... Apps overlap with sound.... Sony blemished with this supposed "best" Model...and the employees of Best Buy will.act shocked if you return this product and tell you that it's a dud and problems are rare....in which to be fair they should be for a Sony. I don't reccomend dropping a grand on this. You cannot rely on the operating system for reliability.

I chose Sony due to the crystal sharp image and beautiful screen color. Set-up was really easy. Sony has been making great televisions for a long time.

Best picture I've seen on a tv set. Simple set-up and connection. I had a great experience at Best Buy, hassle free. I highly recommend this Sony tv

Always thought and still do that Sony gives the best picture. Unit works great and the smart tv is just what I wanted. Very pleased with my purchase.

This tv is perfect for my bedroom. It has vibrant colors and I love how the frame around the screen is thin. I wouls buy this again given the chance.
