We have been very happy with our new 55 inch TV. We bought a sturdy stand at a furniture store & it looks great. The picture is sharp & clear. You can see all the detail & the color is true. We had the Geeks install it & program it for us. The sound bar we bought helps with the sound. We've been very pleased.

LG was also excellent and easier to use, BUT it had color tint distortions every few seconds, most noticeable on people's faces. Annoying to watch. Sony has no such problems.

Take the time to adjust the settings. Picture type (vivid standard, movie, custom) plus, brightness, color, etc. as well as advanced settings will help to bring you the best picture of your liking. My preference was vivid. Accessories such as satellite, blu ray attached easily and seamlessly. Good TV tuner for over the air broadcasts. Remote can be programmed for things such as Blu Ray players.

We decided to go with the Sony 55" Smart Ultra HD TV with HDR based on the reviews we read. This TV has great picture quality from any angle in the room. It comes with a base speaker system and we opted to add a Sony 2.1 Channel SoundBar System for enhanced sound quality. Very happy with our choice.

The software and interaction on this tv makes anything to do with interacting with it an absolute nightmare. Picture is awesome but freezing and randomly resets will make your life miserable. Netflix purely doesn’t work with this tv, my Xbox one randomly wont show as an input.

I had a really great experience @my local Best Buy and I also got a really great deal on my Sony 55 inch tv

I was going to buy a different brand until I saw the picture on the Sony 4K HDR Bravia X800E . I was replacing a 46 inch Bravia that I had purchased seven years ago. The only reason I was replacing it was to go to a larger size. The picture quality and sound is unbelievable and I did not add a soundbar.

It’s been 10 years since we last purchased a TV. We realized the technology had greatly changed. Our last TV was also a Sony and we’ve been extremely happy with it, so Sony was our first choice. It’s an incredible TV and we’re more than happy with our purchase. The quality is synonymous with Sony.

This is the second of this series of TV I have purchased. The 2017 65", and this 2018 55" I love the Android TV, and casting ability. Picture quality is great. The new one is outside. It's been too hot to watch too much; I'll try to update how the glare is once we have more experience.

I have been using Song TV systems for several years and have never had failures. Viewing quality is super.

Happy with this TV .. Comes ready for DirectTV Now and Sling along with many others.. Good bye cable :-)

I am still learning a lot of what this tv can do. Love that Netflix and YouTube is right on the tv. I have had some issues with the WiFi connection, some reviewers have said just run a direct line to the tv. Don’t worry about the WiFi. Overall I would highly recommend though. Great picture.

I have been a Samsung guy for years, this was my first Sony TV experience and I couldn't be happier. Great definition and quality. Love the Sony designs. TV has a lot more options to download apps than Samsung. Will stick to Sony for now. Definitely recommend.

Easy to set up; used stand that came with it. Ease of use. Perfect size; beautiful screen.

This is a great TV, the quality of the image and colors are just perfect. I didn't have to make any adjustments to the picture, the factory setup is right on the spot. It also has great features, such as Google Assistant. I would definitely recommend it as a good option.

This was our first sizable tv and we picked a good one. We didn’t want an entry level tv but also didnt want to spend a fortune. The store associate recommended this one and we couldn’t be happier. The sound is good the clarity is great and the size is wonderful for the size of our tv room.

I like a lot about this TV but was surprised to find that the power cord does not detach from the TV. It caused me some extra installation issues that were solved
