Walked into Best Buy just to browse and walked out with this amazing TV! The quality can't be beat. The colors are amazing and works awesomely well with my PS4 Pro. I love it so much I went back and bought another!

I love my new xbr55900e. ... But the remote control needs a complete make over. Biggest issue is it needs have the option to turn on back light to the keys In a dark room it's impossible to know for sure what key your pressing.It makes the whole viewing experience less than thrilling. Otherwise the picture vs.price it's the best choice out there. .

I have always owned Sony TV's ... Sony Quality is Unmatched by others. This TV is simple to USE You can even talk to it and it does what You Say...kindof Sony's own Alexa. The Picture is Flawless the sound is good although I also purchased a 2.1 sony soundbar now the sound is KILLER... Too many features to list 4K smart TV plug and Play... does auto updates.. It is a GREAT TV from a Great Company and sold by Best Buy for the BEST PRICE ! Buy it !

After looking at many TV''S, I decided to purchase the Sony 4K 900 and it was a great decision. The picture and color are dynamic and would suggest to anyone that wants to upgrade to make this your choice

This is a midrange 4K LED with many premium features. If you are not looking for an OLED screen, this is the next best thing. Pros: Full Array panel with local dimming. Wide color gamut, HDR capabilities give stunning images. With Android and Google Play store, you have wide range of apps to choose. Built in Google Assistant and chromecast. Cons: There aren’t any drawbacks that i felt except for the looks of the Remote. But it is functional and you will get used to it.

Short of an Oled this tv is hands down the best bang for your buck. I got it on sale for $999. The 800 series is nice as well, but if you are comparing the two and the difference is 200 bucks, get the 900

Did a comparison online between mid-range Samsung, LG AND Sony. Sale associate did a side by side viewing of the tv’s and Sony had the best picture and refresh rate. Extremely satisfied with this product

I recently bought the 55 900 series 4k HDR TV and the quality of the image and the 4k is amazing. I’m using the tv for watching netflix and amazon series and undoubtely the quality of the HDR is great.

Thoroughly researched, including OLED sets. Decided on Sony after viewing at local Best Buy. Picture was clearly superior to my older eyes. The motion control must have a significant impact because it was a definitive difference. Once the set arrived, I was surprised that the documentation was minimal. I had to go on-line and print out a very large manual, which I found quite irritating, given the cost of the TV. As others have commented, the remote leaves something to be desired. The 4k UHD blue ray player remote is better--symbols are more clearly marked, etc. One other surprise was finding out the TV does not remain connected to wireless. Every time we turn it on, it has to go and login again--which seems to take a couple of minutes. My 7 year old Samsung did not have this behavior, so I was quite surprised. Overall, though, it does eventually connect. The picture is fabulous and we are enjoying seeing content (streamed) we had not been able to stream before.

VERY happy with this tv. It was rated high on rtings dot com. After turning off "cinemotion" and tweeking the settings it is a perfect picture.We use it for tv and movies mostly I would buy it again.

So glad I bought this TV. It is great for everything. The picture quality is amazing, the cosmetics look great, and Android Smart TV is cool. Definitely recommend this TV. Specially if you are gaming!

Fantastic picture and easy set up. This TV was next to the higher end (over 2,000.00) model and I saw no noticeable difference in picture quality.

I read all about the different brands and types of tv's on the market. I believe for the money the sony 900e series is the best. Many experts agree. The picture is great and sports do not blur.

The new Sony Bravia I purchased is worth it. I also bought the sony sound system to go with it though the tv has built in sound. If you are going to invest in a tv at this price then it's best to invest in external sound. Tv is excellent and I can tell a difference in picture quality. I use my phones mobile hotspot to stream on the tv and connect my desktop to the tv for a large computer monitor. The games also look amazing on this screen but remember the video card matters but this tv will allow all the way up to 4k so you need a video card capable of 4k to use your computer for games unless you want to game lower in 1080 which the tv also handles great. Definitely a good buy.

I was able to get this TV for $1200 which was a steal for the amount of features it has. There are several options to create the best viewing experience of your liking. It has deep blacks and very vivid color. I also enjoy having the "Live Football Mode". Pros: Very bright Dark blacks Customizable video settings including Live Football and Game modes good response time for gaming Built-in apps for great 4k streaming experience Cons: Built-in speakers are lacking in rich sound Android OS interface can be a bit laggy from time to time (hoping latest update has corrected this) Overall, this TV is absolutely amazing and would even recommend in the $1500 range.

If you’re looking at this tv you’ve done the research. You can’t afford OLED, so you’re buying the next best thing. The MU9000 won’t compete price wise and LG doesn’t have much to offer at this price point. You can find som Vizio and TCL panels at 70% the price and 70% of the performance. If you can swing it, do it. Sony found/ made a panel that just works. The 900e is 2017’s KS8000, for $999 on black friday it’s a solid mid to high end choice. 9/10

Absolutely love this tv!! It does an incredible job of up converting the picture. Very easy to set up. 4K content is still somewhat scarce but when it is available the picture is stunning!!

The picture is really good with good blacks and colors. I prefer the remote that comes with the Samsung MU8000 and the operating system is slow and buggy but has plenty of apps including PS VUE which Samsung doesn't have. Better reds than Samsung MU8000. Everything is faster with the MU8000 but picture on Sony much better.
