Sony makes awesome TVs. The clarity and color of this tv more than exceeds my expectations. People look like they could jump right out of the picture.

This tv has a great picture and all the bells and whistles. The only drawback is hiding the ac box behind the tv. We ended up taping the box and cord to the back. I haven’t investigated why the box is required, but it is not easy to hide when it is hanging on the wall.

I came into store looking for same tv in a samsung. .. walked by it and it made me rethink it.. colors are rich and smooth, design is awesome and processor makes games and movie shine.. remote isn't the best and Android operating system isn't as smooth.. but was sold on performance once the demos where turned off.. it simply out shined the samsung and was worth the extra 100 bucks

Great picture but sound could be better. Easy to operate . Salespeople were great and even stayed past closing to finish the sale. Never felt rushed

I've had this television for about a week and can't find negative thing to say about it. This is my second Sony and I will never buy any other brand. Everything from taking it out of the box to setting it up was a breeze. The picture is unbelievably clear and the colors are amazing. Before purchasing this television I read the reviews and noticed complaints about the remote and the speakers. To much of my surprise, I think the remote is perfectly fine and so are the speakers which I was prepared to buy a sound bar but don't see a need to at the time.

I bought this TV after doing extensive research. We have used SONY products for years and have never been disappointed. This product is no exception. We have only had it for a short time and have yet to learn all there is to offer under the hood. I only wish that content providers would keep up with the TV technology so that we get the best of both worlds. The 4k content that ia out there is a real pleasure to watch. There just isn't enough of it. However, SONY does a very good job of upscaling lower resolution content making the purchase worthwhile.

Nice picture with good color, especially viewing from the front. Side view not as good. That seems to be the case with most lcd tvs.
The biggest problem we had is antenna reception. We didn't receive some of the weaker signals that all of the rest of our tvs did.

Did a lot of research and this 4k TV was the right one for features, picture, size and price point. It had the best reviews I could fine. I am very happy with the purchase despite a few annoying features.

This TV is the best for the money. The picture is almost the quality of the OLed which I cant afford. I needed a TV that would support Sling app.

This is my first 4K tv (moving over from a 55" LG LED tv) and I was immediately blown away!
Pros:
-Super clean/smooth picture
-Refresh rate is amazing
-Brighter whites/ Darker darks
-Easily accessible input ports in the back
-Decent speaker sound considering how thin the tv is
-Smart tv with plenty of apps
Cons:
-slow home interface on start up; having to wait for tv to catch up and respond to certain remote commands, specifically input command/volume command
-large power brick (I know it's needed but still, annoying to hide when mouthing the tv on the wall)

This is my second 4k tv and it is light years better than my Samsung. It is also much easier to use. Especially great when paired with a PS4 pro.

Last Sony TV I had was a tube one and they last. Great quality. I had a 1080p 32" insignia which had horrible quality. I looked at Samsungs and considered cheaper TVs like the Sceptre but was afraid of input lag and picture quality. I can say this TV has better color and performance compared to the lower models. I love it! 4K gaming is awesome. Watching Stranger Things in 4K was amazing! For the money it was well worth it. I appreciate Chris who explained to me at best buy why this TV would be way worth my money compared to a cheaper TV.

Looks too cool sitting on TV stand...oh and the picture is amazing!!! I have a 6 year old led 120 hz. 42 Panasonic, nice TV for its time. The Sony XBR55900e is everything I was looking for, yes it cost more but I would say worth it. Thought I did not need a smart TV but I was wrong. Love the smart function. All I really care about is the PICTURE and this TV did not disappoint at all. 4K and an improvement over my 1080i picture is what I was looking for and I got it with the Sony. We are in a small living room and the sound is good, just adjust sound features for voice enhancement so you can here the dialog better and no need for sound bar. You will need to calibrate picture to your liking and sit back and enjoy because I am. Thanks Sony for getting back to what matters... PICTURE

switched from a Samsung to a Sony. Yeah, I know! I've been an avid Samsung user for years but after finally needing a new tv (long story) I went to my local BB and walked out with a Sony instead. Let me just say, so far I'm NOT disappointed! Honest disclaimer here: I know nothing about tv's by the way. I don't watch a lot of it. I'm not a gamer. Good grief, I barely watch movies. I didn't need the latest and greatest. I just wanted something that would bring it's "A-game" when football season rolls around. They assured me this tv would. The color was amazing and stopped me in my tracks. Mostly the reason I bought it. Listen, I can't give you that fancy shmancy review like some other people but I will give you a real one. I've had my tv a few weeks now and it's been amazing. Every time I turn it on I smile because I'm so tickled how beautiful and crisp it is! I cannot wait til football season rolls around. My daddy already can't wait to come over and watch the game at my house now instead! Lol This tv will not disappoint! I'm so glad after spending (admittedly more than I anticipated) so much that I don't feel that "buyers remorse" that some do. I'm very happy. Thank you Sony for living up to your name and thank you BB for your amazing customer service!

I am very happy with the size of the tv for our home. The color and clarity are fantastic. The only thing I notice is that the picture is temporarily blurred when connecting to Netflix. I called the Geek Squad and got an explanation for this problem.
