I bought this tv to upgrade from my older sony model I bought back in 2010, u know...get w/the 21st & 4k century. I love this tv. So beautiful. there's a small manufactorer defect but i'll just have to overlook it. not worth the hassle of an exchange/return. i'm really happy w/my purchase.

My Panasonic plasma TV broke and purchased the Sony 800E but after getting it home and set up didn't like the picture. Returned is and bought the 900E and couldn't be happier. Love the picture. Took a while to mess with the picture settings to get what I wanted. Would recommend TV.

I've been a Sony guy from "back in the day". Thought I was going to buy a Samsung this time based on reputation until I spotted the x900e. The picture is amazing and the upscaling is simply unreal.

Beautiful images,sound..sleek and stylish,reasonably priced. Nearly 5 years and no issues. Recommended!

This TV looks stunning compared to the last 55" 1080p LED TV that I purchased in 2014. The 120 Hz refresh rate and 4K up conversion is amazing. The Android OS is also very user friendly.

Love this tv. Did my homework on hdr and picture quality. The xbr55900e did not dissapoint. The HDR quality makes the screen almost look 3d. The blacks are inky black. Awesome TV!

I was holding off for this price drop for the 900e series dream came true I left a 1080p LG to this Amazing Sony is my new Flag ship TV now with the PS4 pro you can't go wrong period.

Excellent picture quality after slight custom calibration according to your viewing preference

After a bit of calibration this tv looks great. Works great with sony htnt5. Bought as a package deal, very happy with the picture and sound quality.

Everything just jumps off the screen at you. Everyone who sees my TV agrees they have never seen such amazing pictures!

I was in best buy looking at new tv's and decided to buy this tv. At the time i was told it would receive an update for dolby digital in the future as all high end sony models would. Well the update comes in January but not for the 900e. Sony Decided they don't make enough money from the 900e so they pulled it's support. The tv can only do hdr10 which is already dated and inferior to dolby vision. They want you to buy the 930E or above. Take my advice and just get an LG tv. You get Dolby vision without hassle and games from sony. If you buy this tv you WILL need a new tv next year already.

They are number one excellent service I am so happy are used to be a merchandise with circuit city but I have to give credit best buys is one of the number one place of business and a long time five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought a 55x900e last month and everything besides sports is great. Live action during games (football and basketball) are horrible though; almost unwatchable. There's a halo around the players. There's pixelation and blurriness. There's a stutter/judder. I've tried "Live Football mode". I've changed and modified the picture settings at least 10 times. I've changed HDMI cables. I'm not running it through a receiver. It happens both on over the air with a HD antenna and on cable.

I bought this TV on September of 2017, after I returned my Samsung 8000 Series. I previously had a Samsung 6000 Series. This Sony television is night and day from my old Samsungs. I hardly have a visitor come over, who doesn't ask what kind of the this is. I love it.

Great TV! Read all about TVs for a whole year, one after the other, and this was the one with more positive reviews of all. Will keep on buying SONY!

I have been an Extreme Audiofile for 35 years. Top End. On Dec 21, 2017 I bought the Sony 4K 900e. Compared to my 3 Year old Samsung 55" 1080p 240hz TV. The Samsung is quite a Bit clearer. And I Know how to set-up Hi-Fi.. I also bought the Panasonic True 4K DVD Player for $459. But wont get until Dec. 27, 2017. Today-Dec. 23rd, 2017. I am Here because I might return this TV..

I don't normally write reviews on anything. Sometimes hotels when I travel. Did my research, spoke to some nice guys and gals at best buy, picked out this awesome tv. Picture quality is great, features are awesome, although I still cant get it to sync with my google home. My biggest complaint it the audio issues. Anytime you change inputs you get terrible static/crackling noise. It happens when you go from live TV to DVR, or go to Playstation, or Blue Ray and even when you just pause live tv and go back to it. Its a very loud and terrible noise like a feed back on a microphone. I've only had to the TV for 2 days now and Sony has AWFUL customer service. I called the night time customer service support twice and got hung up on by Amy and Erica after 40 mins into the conversation both times. They told me the noise was actually NORMAL and also that Sony was working to correct the problem. So 2 days after dropping the money, I have no idea if i have a LEMON for a tv or what. Never thought id be disappointed 2 days after buying a TV, but now I am left to feel like, if I dont take the TV back, I am stuck with something that wont work properly.

Purchased in late Oct. 2016. The second week of Nov. 2017, the screen is showing a ghost image of the TV menu bar, which is on screen for about ten seconds after you turn the TV on, make changes via the menu or switch inputs. No reason for the menu to burn in or ghost, but the top quarter of the screen is darker than the rest. Having looked into it, it seems to be an issue with Bravia's.
