Decided to go with this TV for the size, picture quality (bang for your buck I think this is the best tv someone can buy) and overall performance. This TV seems to hit the sweet spot of features found on the more expensive TVs and performance wise is towards the top off the pack. I’d definitely recommend this to someone.

We've had the TV about a month. Great picture, no problems. Did research before buying, opted for this Sony because if the ad-free ratings online. Was told by salesperson to expect about a 5 year life from it, with average use. Not thrilled about that since our last TV lasted us 10 years. Did have to buy a sound bar.

I originally purchased the Sony 800E, which was OK. But I then decided to bite the bullet and put out the additional money for the 900E. It was the best decision I could I have made. The picture quality is absolutely fabulous. I've never owned a TV anything like it before. The colors just jump off the screen. I'm especially impressed with how it handles the many different shades of black. The Android system can be frustratingly slow at times, but that's probably true for all the many different models that use it. And the quality of the screen makes up for it. If you're willing to spend the money for the 800E, fork out a little more and buy the 900E. The jump in quality is well worth every penny.

This is a great tv with an amazing picture, I love that this runs Android os makes apps super easy and good for video games as well

This was a Christmas gift for my son and his wife. He reviewed many TVs and read all positive and negative reviews and chose this Sony product because of the quality and great Black Friday price. After installation, my son is extremely please with the quality, clarity of picture and overall performance of this TV.

I bought the 55” Sony 900E as a secondary tv to my 65” Sony 850C. This tv is a great value for a full array panel with HDR capabilities. Although I bought it as a secondary tv, it completely blows my Sony 850C out of the water. I will probably never buy an edge lit 4K tv again after seeing how big of a difference a full array panel makes in the contrast of the picture. I even rewatched all of Stranger Things just for the sake of seeing how beautiful the dim lit scenes would look. I highly recommend this tv to anyone who is looking for the best value out of any 4K tv. Sure there are more premium options, but this is a great place to start for any movie, sport, or video game connoisseur.

New home with new smart tv with clearest most detailed picture ever. Installed by Geek squad who also provided extensive training. Geek squad also made suggestions as to further enhancements. Very very pleased with entire Best Buy experience

Of all the 55" 4 K sets with HDR on display, the SONY KBR 900E was noticeably brighter, and crisper than the other models. There's a reason why this is a premium model. I even could see the difference between the 900E and the 800E models which sell for $200 less. Excellant sound with compatible Sound Bar.

TV met my expectations in every area. Picture quality is in my opinion as good or very close to the oled pictures I observed.The packaging was best of any product I have ever purchased. Unpacking and setup was fast and very easy. After about a month I have no complaints and am happy that I made this choice.

First, it's a Sony, so as expected, love the picture - it's like at the store. The picture is great, sound is great. Do I have enough bandwidth to watch Netflix now that I upgraded to the Ultra HDR plan so that I can watch my Ultra HDR tv? Not always. So now I need to call the phone/internet provider to get a consistent higher bandwidth, if it's available. I thought we had the most available ready, but if you are even 1 Mbps short of 25 Mbps, Netflix hangs and won't play. This isn't really a TV issue, however, I bought the TV to watch a certain quality of video and I can't get it. I've only internet based video to watch where this tv is lcoated, so even upgrading a dvd/gaming system won't resolve my issue. Will I return the TV, no. I will wait for technology to catch up and enjoy it along the way. The mounting that was offered to us at the time of sale, we didn't take the salesman up on, but wish we had - our previously set mount is not in the right spot for a larger tv. Two things that are annoying with the remote (feels cheap and this tv is not cheap) - clicking when you press buttons, and inputting passwords with it takes FOREVER. So, take Best Buy up on the installation offer, and upgrade your internet so you can enjoy the beautiful picture.

Very happy so far. Picture is absolutely beautiful. It took awhile to get used to the tv because it's so sharp every show looks live. Still playing with all the settings etc. I love pro football so I click on live football setting. The picture absolutely blows me away. Sports are magnificent on this set.

I am a Sony person, I did a lot of research,the two other older Sony’s I have are still working great so why change. Not to sure I like Android format but I can live with it. Picture is very,very good, sound took a hit on reviews,but it is good for my use . Great TV. Plus Best Buy is only place to buy!

Truely the best picture. I bought the Samsung 8000 series 55”, hung it and hated it. Returned the Samsung for the Sony 900e and couldn’t be happier. The upscaling of everyday TV channels makes it look close to 4K quality. I previously had a Samsung and though that was the way to go. I guess I was wrong

First off, the interface is fantastic. It requires little expertise and is self explanatory as well as visually vibrant. The various settings and display modes are fresh and manageable! The sound quality is decent the overall presentation of the TV's aesthetics and pure and simple. A great purchase!

Not in the same league as the 930e or lg OLEDS but a great TV nonetheless. Picture is perfect but the OS could be better.

Had bought a different brand and it was not a very good picture. The Sony XBR55X900E was worth every penny of the difference in cost. Awesome picture and very nice design, there really isn't anything negative to say. Best Buy associate was very helpful and knowledgeable and also got a great price.

Life is short. Netflix/Amazon/TV are good. This TV takes the work and news of the day away. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageous either. Nice bright picture. I run in through an amp/speakers combo so I cannot comment on the sound. Picture is significantly better at home than in the store. Enjoy!

I had read reviews about this television and I am glad I did research before purchasing a television. I bought this mainly to play my Xbox one X. I had a friend purchase a cheaper television with HDR and 4K but this one blew the other tv out of the water. I would highly recommend this television.

When I started looking around for a tv, I decided on the Sony because the color and detail were outstanding. I had to play around with the setting before it was perfect. The setup was easy and quick!!! My family and I love it!!! Now its time to purchase a new sound bar to finish the movie room!!!!

My wife and I love this TV! The picture is so clear it looks like you're looking through a window. The set up was pretty easy. The sound leaves a little bit to be desired. We have to turn up the volume pretty loud to hear some channels. Other than that, we're extremely happy with our purchase.
