So far...so good! Picture is clear, controls are easier to operate than previous TV. Weare enjoying our new 55" Sony!

Absolutely beautiful picture, color and clarity. Worried a bit about the picture degrading at an angle, but our room is not terribly wide, so it is a total non-issue. Researched different picture settings online and tried out a few til we found what we like best. Very happy with our decision.

I upgraded a 10 year old Sony 46" flat panel TV with this one and I am very pleased with the results. It has an excellent picture quality and was very easy to set up and get on my home network and configure my other devices to work with it. Four HDMI connectors for using my Direct TV, Apple TV, Firestick, and DVD/Blueray player. Plenty of other connectors to accommodate other devices as needed. It truly is a smart TV. Delivery was trouble free and unpacking and setup by myself was pretty easy considering the size of the TV.

This is a very nice tv. The picture is bright and sharp. It has multiple HDMI inputs, 1 with the arc feature. The only negative I have seen on some sports events the players have rough edges, however I don’t know if it’s the cable box or tv. Overall I think it is a great TV for the price.

This 55 inch TV has an outstanding quality picture. It also has a great connection presence as it runs Android TV. This allows you to install many different apps which gives you a lot of flexibility with media sources. The combination of picture and apps makes me give it the 5 star rating.

TV picture is very clear and color is excellent. When viewing from the side it does not have as colorful a screen.

Watching 4K with 4K disc player really shows how good this tv looks. Streaming content looks better when using separate device other then using tv alone. Content is really only as good as your internet is. If you adjust the picture settings, you can get it to look how you like it to.

We purchased this television for pick up, and it was ready when they said it would be. I was getting the receipt, and my husband was helping the salesman take it to our vehicle. The quality of the picture and sound are phenomenal on this television! Sony does a great job on quality!

I have 4 4k tvs in my home, this is by far the one I gravitate towards. It's not the biggest screen, but it is the best. The HDR is somehow better with this set than the samsung 8k series or vizio p series. I'm not sure why, as it has far fewer local-dimming zones than the others.

I bought a 55" Sony 900e high definition HDR television to replace my Panasonic Plasma. The plasma picture was excellent but in a word the Sony picture is GREAT! The picture is so lifelike you think you are part of the telecast. Should you elect to buy this tv you will not be sorry.

I brought a Sony 900e 49” because my Vizio M series broke not even three months later my other Vizio P series broke so this time I brought a Sony 900e 55” and I haven’t been disappointed yet I absolutely Love the Tv’s and the service was stellar I got what I paid for thanks best buy

I will say that I am floored by this amazing product from Sony! When viewing it side-by-side to even the 800e you can see a stark difference. I spent many weeks researching a new 4K HDR tv purchase and I put a lot of weight found in online ratings. This tv has more capabilities than I can fathom and seems to be somewhat "future proof" to a certain degree with built in updates coming via Android TV. With that being said that is my only complaint...Android TV apps can be slow and buggy requiring you to turn off and pull the plug the old fashioned way. A small price to pay for the extreme quality and craftsmanship found in this Sony product!

Originally bought the 8 series but it had a screen defect so I took it back only to find out they discontinued my returning model but I did in fact buy insurance with it so BB was able to replace it with the next best one which is the 900E model which is all BACKLIT full array LED display which is the best bang for your buck you get incredible contrast with out that edge lit "halo effect" which is super annoying. So all in all the 900E series is a very solid tv, colors are great deep blacks and bright whites!! and I cannot complain it's simply superb. BUY EXTRA INSURANCE trust me, peace of mind and if anything happens like mine your covered.

Great TV. It took me a while to figure out the inputs and other ways of viewing media. I didn't realize there are internet tv channels as well. I probably should have watched some videos on the tv to be better aware of how to use it. Amazing picture and love the integrated apps.

Replaced an older projection HD TV. The picture was still pretty good but it wouldn't die, so I decided to replace it with a 4K LED anyway. What I thought was a good picture, wasn't. This new Sony XBR900E 55" is clearer, brighter, sharper, with brilliant colors. What a change!

Great picture. It's my first smart TV so still figuring out all the different things you can do with it. Excellent TV at a reasonable price. Games look amazing on it to!

we are hoping that this television will have been worth paying a little bit more, in the long run. We've had good luck with Sony in the past. The picture quality and contrast a very very good. The upscaling in motion control at 120 Hz native is excellent. The android operating system and ability to cast from phone is good. but I will always wonder if I could've gotten similar quality from a lower price TV. we're still figuring out all the features.

Sony has done it again. Incredible sharp crystal clear picture. 4K with HDR is a must have if you are looking for a brilliant experience. Since there is not a large amount of 4K content this tv will take HD content and upscale it to as close as it can to 4K. If you want to see how amazing 4K content looks go to YouTube through the app on the tv and search for 4K videos and choose one of the ocean (or any videos) 4K videos and you will be amazed! I asked three geek squad team members "What brand of tv do you get the least amount of repair claims" and all three said Sony. This tv is worth spending the slightly higher price.

The xbr900e is an excellent tv. Up-scaling is incredible. Colors are very accurate and the blacks are nice and deep. A good test for black levels is Bloodline on Netflix. I usually watch Xfinity cable and the picture is super sharp. If you are coming from plasma have no worries. This tv is better in every way. FALD is the best. No blooming or light bleed.There are many settings and it's just a matter of personal taste and researching online for the best settings. The android apps work fine with the latest 7.0 firmware update. I am totally satisfied with this model and am planning to purchase the 65 inch on Black Friday.

Spent a lot of time reading reviews. Almost spent the extra to go OLED, but the reviews are correct. If you have a room with windows you need the extra brightness that this tv can give you that OLED can’t. You get very close to the same dark black without the extra price tag as well. All the specs aside, and this tv has plenty, it’s just a great picture. The only downside is the menus setup is a bit confusing at first and takes some getting used to. I paired it with a Sonos sound bar and it’s pretty seamless when switching from playing music to watching tv. It’s automatic since the TV has priority over music.
