Outstanding picture quality. The colors just jump out at you. I was disappointed in sound quality particularly how the unit broadcast sporting events. It's as though the background noise is more important than the announcers. I had to buy a sound bar to get quality sound.

great color and picture. great sony quality as usual. would highly recommend for price point. limited viewing at this point but will add more detail at a later point

this TV has a very good picture. i tried two ether TVs first and took back do to picture. i had a plasma and this is very close or probably. better, the one draw back is speakers dont sound that good or you have to turn way up to hear. but i usually use my surround sound.

We did a lot of researching before buying this particular TV. We wanted 4K but didn't want to spend a ton and this one fit the bill. It is an amazing picture quality upgrade from our old TV and once we figured out all the special features it is a dream. The clarity and colors are awesome. The sound is pretty typical so we will be adding a soundbar soon. We find the Android features to be easy to use. The remote is great because it has a speak feature so you don't have to type. It doesn't always understand everything said but it gets close. We also have a Sony 4K upstreaming blu ray player we got at the same time and the great thing is we now can use just one remote. The only thing I don't like that I can't yet figure out how to disable is every so often is will pop up a screen asking to enroll in Samba Interactive TV. It does this even when the TV is off, while you are sleeping at midnight and the first time it was a little odd. Other than that, it is a great TV and I definitely recommend it. You can't go wrong with Sony.

Worth every penny spent! Great picture and features. The android system is great although it's a bit slow and sluggish at times. I'm still trying to figure a few things out but I'm enjoying the TV greatly. I would absolutely recommend to anyone that's looking to upgrade.

It’s good to see Sony coming back with excellent tv’s again and this one does enough on the smart end of things and looks great mounted on the wall. The picture quality is excellent and even sounds great with out my 7.2 ch stereo. I’m very happy with its capabilities.

Replace a Panasonic 50" with this. Still worked great but wanted to update. Has a great if not one of the best pictures and with all the "smart tv" goodies. I knew what I wanted and waited till it went on sale and got free delivery. Happy as a kid in a candy store !!!

I've now had this TV for 10 days. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade to 4K/HDR. I have always been a Samsung guy but decided on this Sony model and I really think it was a great choice. The picture is awesome for just regular cable TV viewing. I use my Xbox One S for viewing 4K movies and boy is it unreal how great the picture is. Gaming on the Xbox is just as great! Netflix 4K streaming is smooth. Overall very happy with my purchase. Side note: I recommend going to RTings.com to get the best settings for the TV. It's not bad out of the box but they have the right tweeks to make it so much better.

This is by far the best TV I’ve ever owned, it is in fact my first 4K TV. After reading many online reviews and talking to tech-savvy biddies I decided on the Sony 900 series. While the 800 and 850 series do have very nice screens as well, this one is just so much brighter and the blacks are much richer than both other brands and the lower Sony models. When I got it home and installed my family spent days in wonderment with how sharp and colorful everything was. It’s like watching your favorite shows and movies all over again. This is my third Sony TV and I will never buy another brand, period.

The picture is fantastic. Live football or other action sports look excellent! Ultra thin frame almost disappears and I love that aspect. The speakers are functional but do not sound very full. I purchased a JBL soundbar with sub and now it sounds absolutely awesome.

I was going back and forth between this and a Samsung. So glad I went with this one. Beautiful picture, easy menu navigation, even component inputs for my old gaming consoles. I was worried about the potential for image retention, but it's been flawless. No regrets.

I'm going to start off by saying that I absolutely love this TV. The picture is incredible, the Smart TV functionality is flawless, and the design is stunning. I upgraded from 1080p to 4k and you really have to see the picture yourself. I simply cannot put into words how crisp and gorgeous 4k UHD with HDR is. I mainly use this TV for watching movies and playing video games on a PS4 Pro and it has turned the entertainment experience into an actual joy for me. I can't say enough good about this amazing TV.

Bought this before I started playing Uncharted 4 on PS4 Pro. This TV preformed very well for this game, especially that scene with copper threads. Those this TV model might have a blooming effect on certain aspects of dark sceens, but shouldn't be quality breaking. Still planning to play other 4K games, including Final Fantasy XV, Star Wars: Battlefront II & Assassin's Creed: Origins. Will update review when all that's out of the way.

Purchased this TV 55” for $999.99. It is a great TV for that price. It does suffer from some blooming, but FALD stil makes it a better choice than other edge lit TVs for the similar price. Also, you have to sit straight in front of the TV as the viewing angles are terrible. If you are watching from a slight angle the blacks will diminish and color will fade. Overall, like I said it’s a good value for the price but I wouldn’t pay more

This TV replaces a 52" Samsung plasma that bit the dust. I thought I would miss the old one, but this TV has a clear picture, good sound, and doesn't get anywhere near as warm and throw off heat like the plasma. Should have gotten a new TV a long time ago. Love it!

This TV Is incredible! I've never seen anything as beautiful as a TV like this. It automatically has that "soap opera" effect on, BUT I never took it off and I'm used to it now and I kinda love it lol. You can remove it in settings but I won't. This TV Is great!

This is the best TV that I've ever owned! It's a great balance of price, quality, and functionality. The picture and sound are perfect! Sony quality all around. The Android operating system also gives you so many additional features and connectivity options.

I compared the X 900 E Sony to OLED TV's and there is only a slight difference. My living room has lots of windows so the brighter picture with the LCD is a better choice. The Blacks on the Sony were nice and gave the OLED TV's a run for their money. The direct back lit LCD on the Sony really makes the picture pop for about 500 less than the OLED. 4K UHD with Amazon prime streamed into the tv (no external device required as this is a smart tv.) is Amazing! My advice skip the OLED and go with the X900 and save some cash for an amazing picture quality that rivals the competition.

Almost like being at the movie theater. Sharp, clean & full of details. Had bought the 60 version for the living room & was sold on it back then. Yes it's worth the extra $. Your are getting quality!

We upgraded our 46" HD Sony for a larger UHD 4K and are very happy with it. We bought the upgrade from Direct TV as well. Very nice combination. The great sales team at Best Buy helped all the way through and made it all very easy. Friends are all impressed
