This is a great mid level buy. The tv with its 4k ultra hd is great for movies and video games, both the sound and picture are amazing with no noticeable lag when gaming. I purchased my tv for right around $900 during the holiday season

I spent 6 months comparing TVs before I bought this and I gotta say that it is a beast, the 4K is absolutely stunning (I’ve tried it with PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and 4K movies). It also looks great in my dark room and has very little glare.

I would recommend this TV to anyone who's looking to upgrade. The picture quality is almost as good as the 940 series I purchased a few months ago. Sound quality is decent (not the best) but I have a BOSE soundbar that I use for movies.

Whenever I buy a piece of electronics I do a lot of research, but this tv was purchased mainly because of my first impression when I saw it. The quality is unbelievable, and when I brought it home, I found myself watching 4K YouTube videos to fully appreciate what this tv can do. Normal television is great but true 4k video is unlike I've ever seen. Highly recommend this tv!

This is coming from someone who has all Samsung tv’s in the house. This tv replaced my plasma and it is awesome. I bought the 49 inch and exchanged it for the 55 inch set. This 900e has surprised me. Trust me, this tv will not disappoint.

Good Size Sony Bravia TV which is easy to use. Good picture. Smart TV works well and fast. Easy searching with the microphone on the remote.

Went to the local Bestbuy store to compare. Other than the OLED TVs this one has an excellent picture. Soundbar or additional speakers are necessary to compete the experience. Good value. Easy delivery and a quick setup. Recommended !

The thing is, if you have had your old TV for a couple of years then even a less expensive new TV will look great by comparison. I decided to spend a bit more and have no regrets. The detail in streaming Ultra HD content is amazing.

I went to purchase a 4k UHD TV and wanted to stay in the $600 range. However, when I compared the Sony Bravia e900 55" with the off brands, it was a no-brainer that the extra money was well worth it. I also compared it to the higher end products such as Samsung, LG, etc, and just felt the Sony was brighter and would provide a better picture in a well-lit room. The app selection is good but more variety would be nice. It works great with my Sling TV, Netflix, and some others. The HDR on PS4 Pro is absolutely STUNNING!

This was a big purchase for us. We went to this tv from a tube tv. The picture is great although it took awhile to get used to. So far it’s working well and hopefully will last as long as our tube one did! (Highly unlikely though):)

I absolutely love this TV. Sony has outdone themselves. I really think it's a great all around unit and provides a very enjoyable movie watching experience and a fun gaming experience. The Triluminous display allows colors to pop in their fullest form. Another great feature is the full-array backlight. Instead of the edges being light the entire screen is light; allowing blacks and whites to display brighter. I definitely recommend this unit.

Chose this after reviewing many brands and models. This was the best match of quality and price. I picked it up at the store, brought it home and set it up with no difficulty. I am very pleased with the results for sports and movies.

Television is rocking with the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X attached to it. 4K HD Blu-rays through the Xbox One X are clear and detailed through this television. Awesome television!

Just bought an Xbox X so I finally picked up this 4K tv to go with it. The picture is amazing and just as important is set up was incredibly easy. Sony makes it easy from unboxing to getting the stand on to programming receivers.

This TV was very easy to set up and understand. You will simply love the picture quality and in fast moving scenes you will not experience any lag and the video remains perfectly clear. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next

I did quite a bit of research & determined this TV was the one I wanted; I have been absolutely thrilled with my purchase! I was fortunate to have a good friend help me get it set up on my stand; we hooked everything up and it was extremely easy to work through and answer questions on the TV screen with the remote! The picture is outstanding, whether it's an NBA basketball game, golf, local news or showing one of the latest movies! Beautiful color! I will be enjoying watching this TV for many years to come! We did a lot of research in Sony vs Samsung TVs and very happy with this decision. The backlit display and Android powered OS were the main reasons for us. Great picture, does well in our living room that gets a ton of sunlight.

This 4k TV really shines when it comes to up converting lower resolution sources and is brilliant with true 4k! We could have paid less, and could have paid more, but this model was the perfect price to performance choice for us.

The TV has an awesome picture with blacks comparable to the plasma I was replacing. My only issue is the sound is too quiet for these old ears (not the TV’s fault) but easily corrected with an awesome Sony sound bar and sub set.

Coming from a mid-series Sony TV from 2013, this was a marked upgrade. The colors look great with some mild calibration and adjustments to motion control. The backlighting produces some very deep blacks and motion blur hasn't been an issue. I'm running through a receiver so I can't comment on speaker quality over an initial test. Pretty average, as expected. The most disappointing aspect has been Android TV. The interface could be better, but the processor seems inadequate and there's a lot of slow responses and lag time opening apps and processing commands. Streaming over AC wireless was also problematic, not so with the attached Roku and Xbox, so it's the TV. If you want a full smart experience, this might not be the set for you, if you already have a streaming box you plan on using, it really is a beautiful set.
