We love our Sony 900E. We bought it to replace a 10 year old Sony LCD set we had in our family room. We use the TV to watch cable, streaming video, Blu-rays / DVD's and for gaming. I find the colors and resolution to be excellent. The sound is adequate; it could benefit from a sound bar but we're fine with the standard sound as is. View angles are great. Glare can be an issue but I rarely notice it. Table top set up is easy with two people, and setting up the menus / remotes / cable box as easy enough. Being our first "smart" TV I've found that we're watching Netflix and Amazon a lot more because it's so easy. No longer have to turn on the Xbox to watch streaming content. The Google voice feature is cute and fun to play around with though I don't use it much. There are plenty of HDMI ports; cords can be managed easily via channels in the base. Style wise it's a gorgeous addition to the family room. It's a delight to see it every day. We replaced a 42" tv and originally were going to get a 49" one but with the sale, and salesman's prompting we got a 55" and couldn't be happier. Our room is about 14' deep and the 55" doesn't overpower it at all. Now makes me think I need a 75" for the basement in the future. Because the image runs to the edge of the 55" screen, the overall set size isn't much larger than our c. 2006 Sony LCD 42" television. So great. Side note, I was going to get an 800 series for the family room but due to a sale I stepped up to the 900 and it's so great. I highly recommend this TV. I'm no expert, but I did research sets for a year, always watching features, models and pricing. I cross shopped Samsung, Visio and Sony. And in the end I just really like Sony's performance and if you can get one on sale, you'll definitely have made the right decision.

Between the 850E and 900E I would say they are both great HDR gaming TV's but with the 900E you get every aspect of gaming you would need and see. One of the best TV to play on if you are a big gamer especially into any type of 1st person shooters or action pack games. See every detail and motion, defiantly recommended for anyone. Also check Rtings.com for detailed review. Thumbs up for the 900 series. Also recommended the 930E if you want the best quality for your buck.

Trust the reviews and pick up this set. It’s spectaculaor. Yeah, you only get full HDR through inputs 2&3 and it doesn’t support Dolby vision (yet) but it’s a sltellar 4K tv at a decent price point.

We bought thiis TV after taking back a larger LG. I do like it a lot but don't love it. The viewing angles are a little off. When close up to the people in the show, the picture is amazing but when they are further back I think it distorts a little. Especially with sports. My wife says I am too picky but I want it to love it for $1000.

After doing much research on the Samsung and Sony, the Sony edged out the Samsung and boy am I happy with my decision. Excellent picture right out of the box. Great Android interface. Plenty of apps.

I set the picture to the "sports" setting. The color and resolution are both unbelievable. Even better when watching Netflix via Apple TV. I'll let others give you all the specs. This TV is awesome.

Picture quality is spectacular. I this is my 3rd Sony TV I've owned and I've never been disappointed. Sony's 4K TVs are a notch above other brands.

This set was recommended by a couple of different BB staff members! It doea not dissapoint. I had a Pioneer Elite Kuro (which is now for sale). I wanted to move into 4k...and here I am. Sweet pic!

I purchased this as a replacement for an old dlp set. So right there was a big upgrade. I also compared in store with other brands and models. I was always a Samsung guy but I've been converted.

This TV has everything you need in 4K UHD TV. Deep Blacks, great motion enhancement and all the other things a higher end TV would have. Highly recommend this TV if you dont want to get an OLED!

We are very pleased with the new Sony tv we bought from Best Buy. It captures such true colors and the defined picture is amazing. Our Samsung sound bar is amazing. It’s like being in a theater.

The picture quality is good, feels like a small theatre in my room. The only negative thing I have to save about it is the stand. It obviously holds up the tv fine, but it feels like cheap plastic. Would prefer if it were a little more solid for my peace of mind.

Bought this TV instead of the similarly priced Samsung based on reviews I read on the internet. Glad I did. Picture is really good and it handles sports and motion very well. The remote that comes with the TV is a little clunky but works fine. Please know that if you buy the Sony MT 300 sound bar to go with this TV, the TV remote will not control the sound bar so you will have to control the volume with the separate remote that comes with the sound bar.

I was between this model and the comparable Samsung and LG models. I went with the Sony based on associate feedback and am not disappointed. The picture is bright and clear, even at sharp angles.

This tv is excellent for sports, streaming and gaming. Smart tv UI is clean and easy to use. For the dollar value the picture quality is as good as it gets. I'm very happy I joined the 4K world

I have always been a SONY guy and this is a great TV. I can tell the difference between the lower end to this one, which is on the higher end. The best ones are the OLED's, that is my next one

After researching many 4K TV's I happily decided on this Sony model. 4K picture, movies, and gaming have been fantastic on this TV. Lots of settings for picture enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

Our new 4K Sony TV has a clear brilliant picture with great colors. Skin tones look real, and depth of colors are better than our other Samsung and Sony TVs. The picture has great resolution.

Did tons of research before buying this TV. After having for over a month I am blown away by how good the picture is. I use the smart TV apps and a digital antenna and the picture is amazing.

This Sony 4K TV has a beautiful picture. I have it in a room with 2 large floor to ceiling windows. I was worried about the picture being bright enough but it has a bright, beautiful picture.
