This is my first TV purchase and I am glad I went with this Sony. Picture quality is outstanding, the smart options are pretty great, easy to use, google chromecast is pretty sweet if you want to put a video from your phone/laptop on your TV. Only con is the sound quality, it's pretty meh. Overall the TV is worth every buck especially when it is on sale.

Tv has more function than I know what to do with but it has a very good picture. Don't know that a sound bar is necessary to enjoy it.

I bought this Sony after debating between this and a Samsung. I've never bought a Sony tv before, and I'm glad that I finally did! This tv is fantastic. I love the brightness, and there is no blurring when watching sports, which is mostly hockey for me. I also grabbed a PS4 Pro to go with this. Home run. Gaming is phenomenal. I highly recommend.

For two months, I checked out televisions at Best Buy. I talked with several sales associates and each one recommended this Sony model as the best unless I wanted to step up to OLED's which are much more expensive. The picture is clear, sharp and fantastic. The ease of use makes it easy for me to utilize features. I am very happy with my choice.

have had the TV now for over a month. Was easy to set up. Picture quality is excellent so far. No issues with hooking up to Internet.

TV has great picture, menus and setup are little tedious. Had ROKU interface, MUCH cleaner then TV has. The fast forward , play and reverse are very small. The remote pick up on the tv is right in the middle on the bottom of screen, right where my center speaker use to go???!!?! Still working on solution for that. Show info, works funny. When registering TV said to go to Setup to undo, still looking for that and confirmation. Paid for setup, then the delivery people handled the TV screen incorrectly. !! Not Happy, should have just picked it up.

This TV has a fantastic sharp picture with wonderful color quality, I would not hesitate to purchase it. I would definitely recommend.

Love the picture and the sound quality through my home theater is much better than my previous Sony Bravia (which was 10 years old).

TV is easy to use and picture quality is so real that you feel like you are thefe in person.

Excellent picture and excellent processing power. 20/20 hindsight I might have gone for the 65" inch, but the quality is exceptional.

The picture quality is so realistic and yes the blacks are blacker and whites whiter as per the sales associate. You pay a little more money but totally worth it. I had an older Sony XBR and the speakers were built in the frame of that TV and a sound bar was not needed. This newer, light and thin model you need a sound bar. I would recommend this TV.

This TV is mainly for my husband's Xbox One and PS4 display. The quality and smoothness is perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely love this tv. Thought it might be too big for our living room but it is really clear no matter how close you get to it.

This is a great product for watching movies and sports. Great picture and I love the contrast even between black colors. The only negative is the television remote and menu which can be difficult to navigate and time out too quickly when working within the menu. Can be frustrating.

Great TV it's been exceptional for watching the baseball playoffs .I would recommend this TB to anyone looking for a high end TV .

I wanted a slightly smaller tv for my living room and this fit the bill perfect. 4k is awesome and the Picture Quality is great.

Best all around tv. Movies, sports and gaming. Picture quality is great, apps is decent. Still no Tv better then Panasonic ST60.

So far, this TV has been great. The picture quality is amazing and it does a great job of upconverting lower resolution content.

This set offers many different options to fine tune the screen to your visual preference. It replaced an old 42" SONY flat screen, non smart. I thought the jump from 42, which seemed big to me when I bought it, up to a 55 would take some getting use to. Nope, didn't. It's perfect. Only 2 things disappoint me: 1) the very limited apps you can down load from PLAYSTORE, I cut the cable a long time ago. If you have a separate streaming device you will probably keep it because of the limited number of apps available for this SONY platform. If this is your 1st 4K TV, as it was for me, expect to have to upgrade your streaming device to the 4K version. I just couldn't get the visuals right until I upgraded my ROKU to the 4k version, 2) The lousy remote app available for download onto phones. I use my ROKU remote app for my new 4K stick and it's great. The SONY remote apps, I only found 2 for iphones, don't even allow a qwerty board so you get ready to single punch and bounce around the numbers and letters from the orig TV remote to get accounts set up. That's just archaic and very lazy on SONY's part to not offer a sophisticated remote app.

I'm really happy with my Sony x900e. I got the 55 inch version and did a lot of research on the comparable Samsung and LG. I'm happy I went with the Sony. The picture quality is very good, and I appreciate that the dark colors show well (unlike on the LG where they look washed out). I am also really happy with the lack of any motion blurring. The base 120hz is helped by an internal system that corrects any blurring a lot more and that is a really nice feature and you can absolutely notice it, especially if you're watching something in 4k. The user interface is perfectly fine, I have no real issues with it. The remote is OK. It's not my favorite ever but it gets the job done. You kind of need it if you want to use the voice features but the remote that comes with the TV isn't great for my cable box, for instance, so you may end up using multiple remotes or sacrificing some functionality at some point. That's a small thing for me, though, so it doesn't affect my opinion of the TV itself. There are plenty of HDMI ports on the back and USB as well so no issues there. All in all I think it performs really well and I've been happy with the picture quality of it.
