Great upgrade

Reason for the manufacturer change is Sony has been one of the top leaders the last couple of years. Love the 4k on it with the smart TV options.

Great tv. Incredible picture quality

Incredible improvements to picture quality and features. Easy to set up right from the box. We added a sound bar for improved sound and it was well worth the additional cost

A TV Perfect For Gamers

With the brand new TV and the Xbox One X, games look better than ever. Definitely worth the price.

Perfect picture quality

Comes preloaded with Netflix, Hulu, etc. The price was a little high wen I purchased in November of 2017. The price then was about $15oo, but, no problems so far and I would recommend it.

Sweet spot for price and picture quality

After lots of research and reading many reviews, it came down to the Sony X900E 55" or the Sony X850E 65". Both were around the same price, so I had to decide what was more important - the better picture on the X900E, or the bigger size of the 850E. At the end of the day, I chose the X900E 55", and I'm glad I did. The increased brightness, clarity, and local dimming make a big difference, and the size is still big enough for the room where I'm using it. I'm seeing details and color contrasts that I never knew existed on my previous TV. I've only had this TV for about a month now, but assuming I can trust the Sony quality to last for years to come, I have no problem giving this one a 5 star review.

Great TV for the money.

For me it’s all about the picture quality and depth and ease of use of its features and this TV delivers. The sound quality is god/fair at best.....but that is why the SONOS sound bar was invented!

qled still better but o.k. for the price
