Great, Great 4k picture. Very clear and vibrant picture. Love the motion enhancer for football. Some stations signals clearly are not the same. With a good feed both 1080p and 4k signals are amazing, but with Fios there are some stations that do not clean their feeds. This is not on the TV. It truly is 2nd only to OLED in blacks and grey display.

This Sony TV has the best color in a mid range 4K UHD HDR.I was totally undecided which one to buy. The sales staff at the Burnsville store were very helpful by pointing out the differences in each and I chose the Sony XBR55X900E GREAT color and clear picture Very happy.

This TV is unmatched when it comes to regular models from any of the major manufacturer. It has theatre-quality resolution and flawless broadcast. It is more pricey than other 55" flat panel 4K TVs but is worth every penny. Anyone who demands the highest quality in their TV reproduction of the pictures on the screen will want this model.

I went from a 40” LED HD Samsung to the 55” Sony Bravia 4K, it was around $1200, a little more than I wanted to spend but didn’t want to get the one for $800 and regret I didn’t get nicer one with twice the motion rate and coloring, I haven’t regretted it once, easy to use and set up, I wish more stuff was in 4K but I got 4 k Apple TV and Netflix has 4K and is easy to access with one button, so along with high price, sound is only other thing not great but I got a pair of $500 Klipsh speakers that I hooked up to tv and turn table that is perfect.

I have been looking at TVs for the past year or so and planned on buying the Samsung QLED. We had looked at many TVs online and read many reviews and decided to go to Best Buy on Black Friday evening (some things you just have to see in person). After looking and looking and looking some more, we decided on the Sony 55". We also bought a sound bar because we had trouble hearing our previous TV (we are not young people). We had the TV assembled and up and running in no time and we have been so impressed with the picture quality. The sound is so much better I returned the sound bar before I even opened it. I highly recommend this TV unless you want to spend the big bucks on an OLED (not to be confused with QLED). I am sure some people will be able to complain about certain aspects of the TV but it was an excellent choice for us. Now we watch NetFlix in 4K and the sports broadcasts are beautiful.

So far, so good. I have only had this tv for a couple of weeks and believe reviews should be given after a longer period of time. If I remember and it is allowed, maybe I will update in a year. For now, the tv is all I expected after much research. Picture quality is excellent without any changes to calibration. 4 K is truly stunning, but 1080i (or p) upscaled is an unexpected bonus. I didn't expect that much difference, but it is much sharper. I especially like the ability to cast youtube from my phone directly to the tv with one simple click. How nice! There are many apps, some of which I will never use. If there is one thing I don't like it is the time the tv takes to load after it has been completely powered down. That is most likely due to all the apps. However most people will probably use the sleep button which wakes it all up quickly. I have mine set up with a remote outlet switch and power it down every night, therefore longer startup time the following day. Minor annoyance and no stars subtracted. My previous tv in the living room was a Sony also, so I knew the quality to expect. How long it lasts is still to be determined.

Great picture, great smart TV features with Google. I run this tv with my surround sound so I cannot comment of the sound quality. My only complaint was there are several different settings that need to be configured in order to get this tv to work with my Harmony RF remote as the Harmony remote controls it over WIFI.

First off not all 4K TVs are created equal when it comes to refresh rates. With the Sony 900 series you get true native 120hz which is even more enhanced with their 960 engine. Gaming on the PS4 Pro is amazing with this TV, the Android remote app works great and 4K HDR movies look unreal. Upscaling is fantastic too.

Love the new Sony TV - the colors pop, the HDR makes it feel like you are standing in the scene behind the camera as it films. Viewing angles are almost 180 degrees. We connected it to Hulu and Netflix with Apple TV and it works great. I personally like the apple interface better than the one provided in the TV.

Picture quality is outstanding. Also purchased this model to ensure that there is no blurring for sports or action videos. I have been very satisfied with it thus far. TV is light (38lbs) and a little fragile for moving around. Recommend unpacking near where it will be used to limit the need to move it very far.

I needed 55” TV and did not want to spend the extra bucks for an OLED. Best Buy expert recommended this - perfect for my needs! My main set is an OLED, and this picture is almost the same for my regular TV viewing. Excellent price and value. I already recommended it to a friend who bought it and loves it also!

This TV is one that I researched for weeks. I spoke to a Best Buy salesperson who clearly indicated that, compared to other brands with similar specs and features, this was the one to purchase. I have not been disappointed. The picture quality is excellent, and the HDR component is a fantastic video feature.

After reading many reviews on 4K TVs, I found the Sony X900E. The price was very good. It has a beautiful picture, the colors are vibrant and the tone variations are smooth. The 55" fit beautifully in my living room. Even just the TV speakers have very good sound. It was a great value and I love the set.

Awesometacular TV. For the money its without a doubt the best picture. Blows away all other TV's in its price range. The only negative is the menu and remote. Hands down the Samsung have a better remote and menu. The Sony's Menu is clunky, awkward, confusing and difficult to use.

Sony XBR 900E has a phenomenal picture and is easy to use. I am not a TV expert and was a bit Leary of a smart TV but am very happy with my choice. I bought a 55" for a new space (I had a 5yr old 46") which I thought would be plenty big but if you will be viewing from more than 8' you may want a 65".

This TV is perfect for me. Fantastic picture and brightness. Quick and easy setup. Narrowed my choices down to two or three TVs based on online reviews and direct viewing of display models. This model had the best combination of quality and value among the finalists. Very pleased with the decision.

I've had this tv for a month now and have been blown away by the image it produces! Amazing black levels, excellent 4k upscaling, rich vibrant colors, crystal clear image and excellent brightness for displaying HDR content! Sound is also good for an led tv although I use a 2.1 system normally. For a small to mid sized room the tv speakers would be more than sufficient. The FALD back lighting system is the reason this TV has such a good picture! No blooming or light bleed here! If you're looking for a TV that in my opinion rivals OLED technology but want to save some money, this is the TV! Sony has created a true gem with this one!

WE have been looking at getting a new tv for over six months and we searched various locations and dealers. We went to Best Buy and talked to their staff, and were shown a few different televisions, all within the 55" range, and decided on buying a Sony HDR 900xe, and we are so happy with our purchase. The geek squad came and set it up for us, and showed us all the features and how to access all our stations and extras. The picture is spectacular and even without a sound bar, the sound on the tv is great. We also got an additional $200 off the price because four days after we bought it, and waiting for our setup date, the television went on sale, and I called and got the discounted price. A real nice surprise. This is our fourth Sony, all bought at Best Buy, and all three are still being used, still working great, even one that is 15 years old in our family room. We are so happy with our service and will go to Best Buy again (if ever one of our televisions needs replacing) or in this case we update.

I just recently bought a new 55 inch Sony 4K UHD Smart TV and the 4K Sony UHD Blu-ray player and I’ve never been able to watch movies with such an amazing picture in my life! Worth every penny if you want a nice quality home entertainment system! Definitely recommend this set up!
