This 55”, smart 4K tv replaces my 8-year-old, 48”, non-smart, 1080 Insignia tv. Until now, I mostly watched sports, movies and Big Bang Theory RE-runs. This tv looks and sounds incredible and has opened up a whole new world of Smart tv channels... Loving it at the moment!

It has great picture quality, sound and features. It's easy to operate and if it's like my previous Sony's it'll last a long time. There's a reason Sony's are relied on by so many professional broadcast studios, and this set is great quality for the money.

Hi Nobalony, We're very pleased to hear you're enjoying the picture and sound quality of your X95G TV. And good to know you find it very easy to operate. Plus, the X950G’s Full Array Local Dimming and Boosting technology provides a dramatic increase in contrast and brightness, while X-Motion Clarity works to smooth our motion blur from sports, action, and gaming content. The TV also has unmatched processing power, from the X1™ Ultimate, that detects hundreds of different objects on-screen. It intelligently enhances brightness, detail, and color, so everything you watch is clear, bright, and incredibly realistic. Thanks for choosing Sony! -Sam Sony_US

I bought this open box tv after seeing it on display, and it has not disappointed! The picture is extremely sharp, and it’s easy to see even in a bright room. I have a Sonos system connected to it and I’ve had no issues. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Easy to set up with innovative packaging and clear instructions. Picture quality is excellent and it comes with a full set of apps for steaming options. BestBuy set up videos are helpful and Sony provides a detailed guide that you can download for reference.

Beautiful picture, as close to OLED as it gets without the pricetag. The sound is good, but if you like immersive audio, probably get a subwoofer sound bar. Love this TV, the picture is very good and X1 processor delivers.

I pick up the Sony 950 g July ,2019 @ a nearby Best Buy . In my opinion Sony has the best true to life picture & this set doesn’t disappoint. One thing I needed was a bright picture for a room full of natural light & the 950g gets very bright.

We had a little scare with the audio cutting out twice, but it's been about a month and no more issues. It was open box, wondering if that might have anything to do with it? Bought a Best Buy 2 year warranty so we're hoping it's covered if audio eventually dies!! Picture is wonderful, smart tv is great. Loving it so far, crossing fingers it lasts!!

Upgraded from a Samsung. Love Sony and hope to be a forever Sony TV household from now on. Picture, sound, remote, all higher quality.. I only wish Spectrum app was included but that's not Sony, it's Spectrum. No problem. I added a Roku. Life is good.

The best TV I ever owned. The picture & colors are remarkable. When I watch a movie on this Sony TV, its like going to the movies. I am still discovering things about it. The Sony engine is the best. Always has been. It might cost more, but worth it.

Bought this to replace 10 year old Sony LCD. Major upgrade in image quality and resolution, plus a fast smart tv processor. Thought about a Sony OLED, but too much ambient light in room, so went with X950G LED. Very pleased, best TV yet! Highly recommend.

Bought this TV on Black Friday to replace my Sony 900F that I got last year because I wanted the Apple AirPlay Features that Samsung and other brands support. Now before I got this TV I bought the Samsung Q70 and what a disappointment. The Q70 has a lot of lag and blur when watching fast motion shows, sports and playing video games when it has a special enhanced video game processor so you don’t get the lag and blur. I returned this TV and got the 950G. Haven’t had any problems yet with it other than I think the 900F shows the color black better than the 950G. Love how it automatically recognized my xfinity box and control the system with the Sony remote. Only downfall is I’m waiting for Xfinity and Sony to agree on the Xfinity stream app so I can start streaming my service. There is no lag or blurs when I put on anything for the TV to play like the Samsung.

Was hesitant to spend almost double the price of other (larger) TVs, but it proved to be worth it.....Sharp, vibrant, deep colors......Am very happy with it. And even without a sound bar, the audio quality is good. You will not be disappointed.

While this TV may fall slightly short of an OLED, it is still produces an outstanding image. I was slightly concerned over burn-in on the OLED and opted instead for the 950G. I am not disappointed but then why should I be? It's a SONY!!!

Was skeptical when purchasing this tv. It cost me around 1200 bucks and I’m not use to spending more than 400 one. Just don’t watch a ton of tv. But after being burned and the 400 dollar tv going out after 2 years I decided that I needed to probably put more money into a quality tv not only for peace of mind but also to up the enjoyment level in my tv and movie viewing experience. I thought how can you upscale this without being burned again. But this panel is gorgeous. It upscales regular tv and the 4K tv is awesome. The colors are great! And the tv has a pretty good interface, navigating through the apps (Hulu, Netflix, etc.) is a breeze. I will be buying Sony from now on.

Great tv. I bought this over Samsung because I was worried about pictures burning into the screen. Sales people said this wont happen on this TV so we bought it. The pictures are clear and the colors are amazing! Such beauty! We love this tv!

This is my second SonyTV. I wanted to upgrade from my 46” that I bought in 2012. Nothing was wrong with it it is a great TV, I just wanted a bigger TV. And the “ Black Friday” sale enticed me. Initially I bought the 65” 900 series, and after getting over the shock of how huge it was in comparison to the previous 46” I was instantly disappointed with picture quality, next morning I returned the 65” 900 series. After speaking to one of their sales Reps, He suggested the 950 series and I decided to go smaller and bought this one. After placing it on the wall and connecting the wires I was immediately happy with the picture quality. Connecting my cable box, sound bar, and Blu-ray was pretty simple, the only issue was that I couldn’t immediately connect my kid’s Nintendo Wii which uses RCA wires, the TV doesn’t have RCA wire connections, but it does have a special connection for them if you order a special “Y” type RCA To A/V wire that can only be found online. I really don’t use the apps on it yet, not sure when or if I’ll use them. As for the old 46”, I moved it to my Bedroom. And placed it on the wall.
