    Good TV with Minor Issues

I did a return and exchange by trading my Samsung QLED Q70 Series with this model. They are TVs with premium standards, and I enjoy the sound and picture qualities for both models. I did the exchange because I want an Android TV to watch dramas on Rakuten and use VPN to watch Netflix in other regions. This TV does the job, so I have no complaint about its function. However, I was not too fond of the design that makes the TV lean back on the stand (15 degrees says on Sony's website). The design is made for audiences who have low media consoles or TV racks. I have a 54'' TV stand, and the design does not help enhance my user experience. Sony should make it adjustable so it can accommodate different needs. I also found the remote big and bulky, not convenient to use.

    Beautiful picture!

This is a beautiful TV, with a great picture out of the box! Dolby Vision really works well with this TV, there is a Dolby Vision light or a Dolby vision dark, Dolby Vision dark I think is the best! Netflix, Amazon prime, and other apps stream flawlessly! If you are going to upgrade to this TV make sure your router and modem can handle the tVs processor and 4k uhd streaming! I purchased mine at the Rochester Hills BestBuy! A very knowledgeable home theatre guy named Devon helped me with my purchase! he also helped me decide on a Sonos sound bar, which is an amazing addition to this TV! The colors that you get on this TV are very true and very real probably the best colors I've ever seen on a TV! I haven't noticed any panning issues, I have noticed some light bleeding in the corners but only when I have my backlight turned up real high! Motion is flawless Sony did a great job here! This is a truly wonderful TV so far! I will update my review in the next month or so when I can get more hours in! As far as picture clarity and colors and motion, this TV performs really well!

    Mostly Good

I'm enjoying the tv for the most part, I think it's good value for the quality. Easy setup, clean interface, nice picture and lots of customizability with picture settings. It also handles the soap opera effect well, which is a big deal for me. So far I have two issues though. My first complaint is with the feet/stand. They are well made and feel very premium, but they are a little loose when installed, and the tv feels a little wobbly. This isn't an issue if you are going to wall mount. I prefer the tv to be on the stand, but i feel like I have to wall mount it now or it will eventually fall over from the slightest bump. The other issue is that the corners are a little darker than the rest of the tv. I'm trying to figure out if this a setting i can update or if it's a problem with the unit, or of its just how the tv is supposed to be. It looks like subtle vignetting, most noticeable when the background is light.

The TV is great but after having for about 3 years, it started to freeze a lot and the wifi card no longer works

After aprox 3 years of use the TV started to act up a bit. It is slow to turn on and load any apps. The connection between the tv and soundbar also gets a bit strange where the sound is delayed. Sometimes the soundbar turns on and produces sound when the TV is off.

    Defective from Factory

I think it would have been a very good TV but the internet circuit was defective when it was set up and the Geek Squad said it was better to just send it back to Sony and replace it with another TV. So I decided to get an LG Oled and have no regrets.

But you extended the stand out to the end of the TV and I would have had to purchase a new stand in order for it to fit , very disappointed.
