Very pleased with the quality & the price is certainly fair. Had every intention of keeping this TV until the details on the new OLED A90J were released. Have wanted an OLED since the A1E, but feared for the potential burn in. Also, the center speaker for improved dialog is needed, as I do not want a sound bar unless necessary. So, have replaced the 950H LED with the new A90J.

Amazing Picture

The picture is simply amazing. Out of the box, the whites are whiter and the blacks are blacker. The only negative is that I didn’t consider the 65” Sony X950. That said, I plan to enjoy this television for many years to come.

I’ve been wanting to switch to 4K for awhile. The X950H is a huge upgrade for me. The color and picture quality is amazing. Rewatching some movies I own feels like seeing them for the first time. Gaming is excellent. Even less powerful consoles like the Nintendo Switch look great. Set up was easy. If you have a google account you can access plenty of apps from the store. Remote feels nice and sound is decent. I have had friends comment how much better everything looks. If you are looking for a 4K TV you won’t be disappointed with this!

Easy to use software and set-up. Plays nice with my PS5 (although there is no 120hz support) and I notice no jittering at 30 - 60 FPS. This panel is easily one of the best from its year....if not THE best. Highly recommend!

Picture good but setup with cable box difficult

After going to through setup setup seemed to work fine but a few weeks later cable system updated their software for cable box and remote stopped working with cable box. It was very difficult to go through setup again to get remote to work again with cable box. TV also doesn’t work well with Amazon Alexa. Can turn TV on and off sometimes but that’s about it.

Great picture...seems easy to navigate thru and I'm not a tech-savy person. Need to contact Geek Squad because one of my apps isn't displaying correctly the aspect ratio (?) can't be changed in settings and the picture doesn't fit on the screen.

The new Sony is so vibrant and the color far surpasses the other old one. I was very impressed with the longevity of the old one I stuck with Sony name. I know TV's have improved but this is beyond the pale. Thanks Best Buy.

It finally went out and I had been eying this Sony for awhile. Love everything about it. Great picture, easy to use , sound is ok but using a sound bar. Lots of great features. It's a good tv and highly recommended. The oled cx is worth the extra cost but for the price it works. Sound needs external audio because internal speakers aren't great even in a small room. The picture is good and sports look great. The software takes a bit to warm up to.

Bright enough during the day and with lights on but also deep enough blacks for at night with lights off. Built in apps work very fast and includes apple tv which is a nice bonus.

Best TV Ever!

Bright screen can see the picture from any angle no problems with motion and sports you think you are right there. I had been struggling with the difference between OLED and QLED and brands till I was cross eyed reading online stuff. We decided just to go down to Best Buy and look. The Salesperson was extremely knowledgeable able to answer all my arcane questions. We decided to spend twice the money we originally planned to and I'm glad I did. We ordered the TV on the spot and arranged for delivery a week later. We have been BIG users of the Best Buy recycling program and paid extra to have our old TV hauled off for recycling. The only issue was the directions were not clear as to how the legs attached, LOL. Easy connectivity, watched trip pictures with flash drive. Could not get it to screen mirror with my Samsung S6 or play videos from the phone.

With full screen back lighting the black levels are amazing. Don't buy an edge lit TV, you will regret it. The available Dolby vision is great when watching 4K blu-rays. I replaced a 2006 Phillips HD 42 flat screen with the Sony UHD4K. Its like watching TV in real time. the colors are brilliant and its easy to add apps. I love it. I wished I had upgraded sooner.

Stand is “iffy”

The sound from the speakers is amazing. Paired with my PlayStation 5 everything is great...until you get to the stands for the TV. Idk if it is how the stand is designed for it to not snap into place because you can change the orientation to face in or out. So that being said I got the “Feet” or stand for the tv attached at the bottom and put it up on my TV stand and the TV wobbles...I’m sorry but for a $1,300 TV this is not ok. One false movement or numb or anything could cause the TV to fall over. Idk if I put it on wrong but for this price it’s not ok. My $700 vizio TV doesn’t even do this and it’s not as good of a TV. Everything else is great about the TV tho!!
