Excellent picture Geek squad did a giood job setting it up. Don't yet have sony media player for 4k pix, but that comes tomorrow,

My wife and I looked for the best picture we could find. This was it by far. Comparing it to other sets in the store was really no comparison, even the other 4k sets. While I am sure the price for this flagship TV will come down in the coming years, we decided to not "wait" and buy this TV. I've always owned the best audio/video equipment at the time, and this is the best we saw to date. The 65" is a nice size...not too big but really looks great in our FR.

Best Buy was very professional before during and after purchase of tv and installation. They stand by products they sell and their people that interact with buyer. Best Buy is rare in retail today that they take responsibility for their customer transactions. We need more of them.

Glad that the screen isn't glass like the last Sony Bravia we has because it showed to much of a glare from lights and the sun. It being plastics is much better

Bought this Flagship XBR as an open box because they were clearancing it,and Sony has not made a replacement. After watching a few blue ray movies on it I am finally and fully impressed! Always looking for the best in technology you sometimes have to be patient, as you must realize some technology is not perfected yet. Having sold retail electronics in my younger days I came to find that televisions were not yet perfected in picture quality. After seeing the picture on this massive 95lb, 65" work of art; my search is over. While I can't speak for everyone else, as we all see a little differently, I will say television has finally come of age, and worth the price, when you can afford it. That's all I got.

Sony has maintained it's quality in this XBR model.

this is indeed the best tv sony has ever made, and maybe still is the best of all, the full array local dimming that this tv has, produce a great picture, vibrant colors and the contrarst of the deep blacks and bright whites are something you have to see it to believe it. I got this tv on display in excellent conditions for less that 1,700, and for the way it perfoms both cable and blu ray movies, I am extremely happy with the cinematic experience and the amazing image this tv produce.

Having clear picture quality, compared to other (including 2015 Sony models) TVs such as Samsung, LG, etc. brands.

This TV has no peers. The clarity is spectacular. Best of all, up close, there is no sign of pixel degradation.

Quite pleased. Picture quality looks natural, especially the 4k where others are overprocessed drama scenes . The smart tv features are easy to use. The built in speakers provides full range but cannot say much more as it is used as a monitor.

This TV is amazing it does everything and then some runs like a champ the picture is wonderful some of the features are hard to figure out but aside from that I hate watching anything on anything else it’s a big picture and Even when it’s in 480 you can’t tell the difference I wish Sony would send out the HDR upgrade because the TV is compatible it’s just the best TV ever

This TV set is awesome!! The picture is super clear and the apps super easy to use.

just got this when it went on sale and I'm blown away with the picture. U used it to replace a different brand 4K that I just wasn't happy with. this TV is awesome. I was really torn between this and a newer/cheaper HDR model but this is great. If you can see the difference more power to you. I splurged on the geek squad calibration almost two months later and now its even better!

Great picture, good sound, good 3D, very clear, no pixelation

I originally selected the Sony 65X900C. Before the TV was delivered, the Best Buy team graciously set up a side by display with this TV. The difference in picture quality was very distinctive. The TV picture looked even better once the Geek squad installed it in my home.

This TV is exceptional. Exquisite picture is unmatched by any of the other 4Ks I viewed. Fantastic sound removes need for A/V system. I use it with a 4K laptop and it works beautifully.

While I was walking around the Best Buy in Sunrise I was waiting for some assistance and I decided to look at the previous years models. By luck there was a Sony 4K 3D 61 inch from last year on sale for $1500.00. I called my wife and we agreed to purchase it! It was a good deal for the options that the Sony has.

The picture is nothing like i have ever seen; not even in the store. Everything looks so real to life and sometimes appears 3D even thought that function is not turned on. On normal mode, the fast action scenes will jitter a little depending on the movie although guests at my house don't seem to notice it when i do. if you set it to the best motion rate, the jitter disappears but you lose some brightness and realness but picture is still better than i have seen on any other TV in stores including the latest top of the line Sony.

This Sony is still the best 65 inch TV you can get for the money. I looked at the 2015 and 2016 Sonys and Samsung's and none look as good as this 2014 Sony.
