Beautiful picture -elegant design
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an LED 4K and decided to make the leap to OLED. Wow, the picture is better, the processor cleans up bad signals. Sony had the best picture and still does. I use a sound bar, but I did check out the sound and it is amazing from such a thin device. Easy to hang. Make sure you update your HDMI cables if you want Dolby Vision, that was not clear until I tried to with my Apple TV. Changed the cable and it works. Super TV.

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture once the out of the box settings are changed. I watch a lot of sports and the factory settings aren't optimized for this. Motion blur & picture blooming were an issue prior to adjusting and turning off some features. Still not as good as the Panasonic plasma TV this replaced. But better than any other LCD/LED I looked at. Also I got this as an "Open Box" so the price was right! I compared this to the same size (65") LG OLED. While the LG had a slightly better picture in the store, my concern for reliability and the reviews for LG service made me decide on the Sony. Also previous Sony product experience has been good for me. Now if Panasonic would sell their OLED TVs in the US....

Great picture!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first set we bought stopped working after one week of use. Called Sony (great customer service) and they offered to replace it. We opted to exchange it at the store and have had the new one for 2 weeks now - no issues. We think the first one had motherboard issues. OLED is the only way to go if you watch movies with lots of dimly lit scenes - things I could not see clearly on the old set (1020dpi) are easily visible!

Outstanding TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Image quality is spectacular on this line of Sony TV's. Best Buy was great experience from online to the story pickup. Compared to multiple other leading models, but found that the black levels, build quality and processing engine in this TV can't be beaten. We really enjoy this TV. Only minor complaint is the Android TV - however, we end up using AppleTV so don't have to deal with it.

Picture is Amazing!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is outstanding!!!! Bought this open box with some apprehension but have been blown away. It was only open box because it didn't come with a stand and had a different remote. I was wall moutning anyway and I dont really care what thw remote looks like. The picture is incredible and would highly recommend this television to anybody looking for an Oled!!!

Beautiful picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great. I purchased a Sony Bravia in 2010 that I still have today and that still works perfectly so I am confident my new upgraded OLED tv will last just as long. The picture is crisp and perfect and since I paid the same price for this TV as I did for the one I bought 10 years ago I’d say the price is a deal. My only complaint is the remote. It’s bulky and awkward to me. I bought a Samsung at the same time as this tv and I prefer that remote much more. It’s sleek, slim and has just the right amount of buttons needed, which is not many. The remote for this TV feels like it is trying to do too much unnecessarily.

Superb
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product Sony out did themselves once again ... I bought two Sony tv's one for more movie watching and the other for gaming. I will say the picture on this model is a beast.... while not the best for gaming, the refresh on apps are a little slow, I ended up wiring my internet directly in. All I can say is those reds and those blues.. omg the greens! beautiful!.

Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nobody should have ANY doubt about the picture quality and build quality here - the only real question is whether to get this over the cheaper LG. The Sony was worth it for two main reasons: the Android TV capabilities and (most of all) the audio technology. Android TV has come a long way from its sloooow previous version, and it now provides a high-quality experience, especially if you have an Android phone. The only downside would be if you have a ton of iTunes TV shows and no Apple TV device, but that's a pretty narrow set of circumstances. The real appeal was the acoustic surface tech that turns the screen itself into a speaker and provides strong, centered sound without the need for any kind of sound bar. Saves space and cost and hassle, and it sounds fantastic. The image processing and upscaling tech is also regarded as top-notch, though I'm not technically informed enough to speak further on those. TL;DR: Fantastic picture and sound, useful OS, worth the price even over the cheaper LGs.

Sony offers the best OLED long term!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV even for the money! Not the cheapest OLED, but the picture is crisp & the functionality is much better than the lower end Sony TV’s. I also like that you get perfect blacks like all OLED’s offer but the chance of bruning out your Sony TV is much less than the LG because it doesn’t get as bright which in hindsight is a life saver!

Mezzzmerizing.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon seeing the many choices on the wall, both myself & my Sales Associate found our eyes would gravitate toward only this beauty of perfection in engineered aesthetics. My Review; Having the Sony Bravia 65” LED, no comparison. If you want the colors to be a deluge, sound & dialog be an orchestral movement, blacks as though they painted nothing on the screen- you have found your television. Fun fact about this & the 9: a processor of great speed is inside the back of this very thin screen. It has Trillions upon Trillions of images stored in it. The purpose is for the perfect image...how? Example, you see a forest in part of your movie. This processor “thinks” that the picture could be better, because it is checking the images stored on said processor, finding the best texture for bark, perfect shadow of a leaf. Not changing anything you watch, it simply watches with you but thinking “this can look better...” And, it does it flawlessly So, yes. It’s a good TV. :)

Great tv for movies and sports
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 65” tv is very easy to set up, but requires 2 people. Really like the adjustable height of the tv support bracket. Picture quantity and sharpness is GREAT. We did not have to use our sound system because the tv speakers work do well.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The A8G is an excellent TV for any usage. It has great viewing angles and outstanding reflection handling and stellar picture quality, so it looks great in any room. The A8G truly shines in a dark room with uniform blacks. We have been Sony fans since 1985 when we purchased the 25" XBR trinitron and never looked for another another brand.

Posted .Hi, Bahmer!
We are happy to hear you are enjoying your A8G BRAVIA OLED TV! With our OLED TV, you get to enjoy 8 million individual pixels that deliver absolute black levels and an amazingly sharp picture. The TV utilizes our X1 Extreme Processor for an incredibly realistic image with vibrant color and dramatic contrast, and it upscales everything to get close to 4K HDR.
Thank you for choosing Sony!

Very Happy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with my choice of the A8G. The picture is amazing it’s so clear. This replaced a XBR5. That TV was just as amazing and gave my family years of enjoyment. Looking forward to the same with this TV. Picture quality is very sharp and the blacks are very deep. Brings out the rest of the colors very well.

Most stunning TV I have ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is next to impossible to beat, especially for the price. I have wanted an OLED for several years, but couldn't until the prices came down. Now, especially with this TV, you couldn't beat the picture quality and features for twice the price! Best picture quality I have ever seen on a TV, and I have never touched the picture quality settings in the menus (and I know how to calibrate a TV)! Breathtaking out of the box! The upconverting software makes regular TV programming look good, but you can't truly begin to see what this TV is capable of until you feed it a high-quality 4K HDR signal from Youtube or Netflix. Android TV apps are easy to use and access. And the sound quality from the TV is second to none. Very expansive and powerful from just the TV itself. Plus there is the cool factor of the actual TV screen vibrating as the speaker! I truly do not worry about the burn-in since I don't watch the same channel or program material type day-in and day-out, but I have seen research which suggests that you would have to have something stay in the same spot on the screen for a week straight 24 hours a day for it to affect the screen.

Excellent TV with superb clarity
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I saw another customer at Best Buy buying a Sony and he said he always buys Sony TV’s and they last forever. I bought this one as there was a discount and looked great in the Magnolia area. The colors are vibrant but doesn’t hurt the eye and sound is movie theatre-like. I bought another Sony for a separate room!

It's a joy to look at.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The blacks are deep black. The first movie I watched I thought the tv got turned off. The sound is way louder than my last Sony Bravia (2011) It's hard to explain how the sound comes out of the screen but it does! Two places in the screen make sound left and right. You can't go wrong here its Fantastic, 10/10 would buy again!

Great TV, poor quality design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the TV was incredible with great color accuracy and deep blacks. However, my issue was the overall quality of design. It looked as if there were Tangerine size indentions in the upper left and right corners of the TV where they placed the panel screen together. You could not see this when the TV was playing, however while the TV is off you could definitely tell where the spots were. You'd think quality control would have caught this.

Sharp crisp picture.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far we are very pleased with this tv. The colors are brilliantly sharp and fine lines. The color Black in this set is still well defined and doesn’t disappear in the background like other tv’s do. I would recommend this set and would buy again.

It’s a Sony...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have had a Sony before you know what I’m talking about. Quality and top notch. Really love this tv. The picture is amazing from any place in the living room. Sounds great also but I have a Sonos system so I rarely have used it since the first day. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is if you already have a Bravia tv you have the same old remote control. It’s got a couple new buttons but that’s it. For the price it should have a newer version but if it’s not broken why fix it.
