There’s a few issues with my 65” x850e 1. Remote is not IR and just ugly for Sony but that’s not important 2. My klipsch sound bar( connected with an optical cable) does not goto standby mode anything connected to the tv stays powered. Essentially the sound bar is supposed to turns itself off after the tv is turned off but this tv doesn’t allow it to. Also my usb powered LED backlight stays on when the tv is turned off not a big deal but it’s the little things. 3. Most important of them all when connected to the PS4, the game will go into a different mode and make the screen go black and on 2 separate occasions the tv had stayed black and started flashing the red stand by light (which means it needs to be serviced) reviewed the issue online was told to turn off auto picture that Sony was tryin to work on a better solution so far it hasn’t occurred again. 4. The menu, apps and other tv functions can be laggy at times There’s are a few good things to say about this tv it’s fairly priced with a wonder looking picture. The actual borders and width of the tv are amazingly small. For gaming it’s well worth the money Overall for a Sony product I did hope for a bit more, if the PS4 issue doesn’t come up again all other issues I can work around I did pay $1099 for the product.

This tv has an amazing picture, is easy to use nothing beats it at it's price.

I initially was going in to bestbuy to buy a Samsung but I ultimately decided to go with this Sony! Best choice I've ever made! Easy set up, the actual look of the Sony is sleek!, and the picture quality is nice and crisp! Great price for a great tv!

The picture quality is fantastic and the TV does a great job up-scaling lower quality sources 480-1080. Blu-ray's look amazing compared to my old 1080P set. Streaming is never as good as physical media, so I don't think I have seen the full power of this TV yet and I am already very impressed. The streaming 4K videos I have seen are on par with a well mastered blu-ray disc. I watched Dunkirk (4K) and the picture quality was absolutely amazing. The 850e is in my living room, it is plenty bright for daytime viewing, the screen has a matte finish that tones down reflections. I haven't had any issues with the viewing angle others have discussed and couldn't justify the extra money for the 900. Local dimming annoys me, and in real world conditions the 850e is plenty bright. Overall awesome TV and would definitely purchase again.

Like other reviews this model# has not disappointed. Pull out of box, insert leg stands, plug in. Great picture and very reasonable price.

No complaints, easy setup. Lots of features. Chromecast screen sharing built-in my favorite. Stream 4K content from YouTube displays an unbelievable picture. Connected surround sound system via optical cable for theater expeirence.

We have owned several other big screen TVs in the past notably Vizio, LG and others and have always felt SONY offered the best quality for the dollars spent. This TV proves that point as right on the mark! We were looking for the best tech available for the cost, feature laden presentation, and good sound quality. We achieved all these things purchasing this TV.

Moving from a standard Sony KDL 50" to a 4k XBR, I expected to be blown away. So far I have not been overly impressed. It has nice picture to be sure, but not to the extent I expected. I think the 50 incher (KDL50w800b) is just as good. To be fair, I haven't upgraded to 4k service yet, as there are only a few channels offered. It took a bit of adjusting to optimize the picture using the suggested settings at Rtings.com but it was definitely worth the effort! Overall I am happy and looking forward to more 4k choices.

Nice TV....good picture even if not 4K source. Easy to set up and go.

I was researching TV’s for a few months before springing for this one on Black Friday. Very happy with it; picture is great, sound is great, home screen and everything is fine. If this is in your price range I would recommend - I was nervous to buy a new TV because reviews are always mixed. The week I’ve had mine so far I feel like I’ve made a good choice.

We are enjoying the crisp HD picture as well as the smart features.

Great picture! The tv is wonderful, nice looking on and off. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the fact that some of the apps don't always load correctly. ie: Sometimes Sling tv loads only the sound and and the menu bar but no picture and no menu options. I'm sure it's more of a software item then the tv itself because shut it off and all is well! Hopefully the next update solves that minor annoyance.

Great picture quality, smart features are really good, need to get used to it.Remote is ok not that great. Sound quality is good.
