I've now owned 3 flat screens. This one is the 3rd (all made by Sony)
From my experience they make the best tvs. This is a very good size tv for somebody who prefers a larger gaming experience. I can understand how someone might like a smaller screen. Especially if you like to sit up close like me *5-6 feet*
This tv is quality . The look, and even the feel. You know you're getting what you paid for .
Two things i didnt like...
1. you have to play with the settings to get the picture right.
2. the sound isn't that great. I'm actually a little disappointed by the sound
However I'm not a movie person... so the tv is loud enough for gaming. Might be a problem for somebody who is into movies.

By far, after months of research in my price bracket, this TV is the best for the money. Tons of options, no glare, operates well with the Android OS, and beyond all, looks amazing in both light and dark.

This TV has a beautiful image quality. You can see the HDR effect. It was very intuitive in the setup, and the packaging was pretty cool too. A lot of work and thought went into putting this TV together.

We looked at the Samsung and the Sony and considered a 55" or 65". We are happy that we selected the 65" and this Sony is great! The clarity of the picture is unbelievable. The colors are so beautiful.

Easy setup. Picture quality amazing! 4K programs seem to look almost 3D. Blacks are incredibly deep and uniform across the screen. During a black screen transition you would think the TV was off. Upgraded to this TV from a 7 year old 55" 1080p LG that is still amazing but this 65" 4K Sony has to be experienced to appreciate the step up in picture resolution. Even though this Sony does not upscale streaming video, the picture quality is amazing due to the processing.

More than pleased with the purchase of a Sony - 65" - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range. The sales person took the time to show me fair comparative products and pointed out features of this SMART TV. The picture quality is excellent. Searching 4K videos on YouTube is a blast ! The difference in sharpness was even evident in previous recorded DVR programs that I had saved. I can hardly wait for this season's football to begin. Great product that I would highly recommend.

Love this tv. For me, the perfect size. Still learning all the options, but really easy to get on Netflix with the touch of one button. I also bought the Sony 4K Blu-ray and they are a perfect match.

I had been debating between the 65X850E, the 65X900E, and the 65X930E and read a ton of reviews on all 3 TVs. Eventually I decided that the X900E was the best TV for the price and boy did I make the right decision! That FALD makes a big difference in the picture quality and the HDR features are truly mind blowing when you see the difference for the first time. It's been great with Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, and Nintendo Switch and streaming content looks amazing. 4k Blu-ray is definitely the best way to really experience this TV to its fullest extent. When it comes down to it, the price of this TV is definitely not low and you have plenty of other options out there for great TVs, but the Sony name and quality really shine on this. As for the differences between the 850 and 930, spending a few hundred more than the 850 is totally worth it, while saving almost $1000 compared to the 930 is a really smart move. The 930 will have Dolby Vision support and this one will not due to the chip types in the TV, but Dolby Vision is still a budding technology and HDR10 is so prevalent that it feels like that will be the winning HDR format in the long run. This TV was updated to support HLG HDR, so it's future proofed for that once the broadcast world catches up. If you want a good, in depth review of the TV and want to compare to a lot of others, check out rtings.com.

Replaced a perfectly good 55" with an error message in the picture that would not go away and couldn't be repaired for less than a third of a new similar quality TV. Although it was 7 years old the picture was great. Took the next step towards the best picture ever which so far is an OLED in my opinion. However they are still way more expensive than this set which is loaded with features and the latest LED technology. After reading up on it Sony seems to have the best or one of the best processors. The picture, colors, blacks, motion, are all excellent. I felt this was the best bang for the buck. Hope it lasts 7 years or more like my last one. I don't think I will need to look for anything better.

Only had this TV for a week and so far it's been excellent. Setup was straight forward. I had compared this set with several other brands and I feel the Sony XBR900E has by far the better picture.

Bought this TV after returning a Vizio P65-E1 to Costco (FALD pulses drove me Crazy!!!!). Wish Costco sold Sony TVs. For whatever reason, they don’t. You can’t beat a 90 day return policy. BB has a 15-day return policy for TVs.....so my “review period” was pretty intense since it was so short before deciding whether I would keep it or not. All in all, this is a very good TV. Dark blacks aren’t as good as the Vizio P-series, but fast motion images are better. Fewer FALD zones than Vizio, but NO PULSES! Vizio still hasn’t solved this pulse problem. Sony has. Vizio has Dolby Vision. Sony doesn’t (but the 2018 900F series does). Sony has Ultra 4K. Good enough for me. Great picture overall. One minor irritant is a propensity (at least on my set) for synch issues between audio and video signal. Of course....Sony claims that’s an issue with my broadcast service provider....not their TV. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. I still don’t like it. Seems to happen more often on some channels/networks than others. Probably my provider’s broadcast. Remote not very user friendly. Android-mania not too thrilling for IOS types. YouTube is prominently displayed on the box, but I still haven’t found out how to access it with this Sony remote (though it’s easily accessed with my Sony Blu-Ray player remote. ? Go figure. Many online “experts” will tell you how to adjust the colors on this set. I took about six if them and made a hybrid “color cocktail” that works great for me. If you have to use one “factory canned setting” in the TV, use Cinema Pro for nighttime/dark shows; and Cinema Home for daytime/light shows. All in all great set.

The picture on this TV is unlike any other in this class. It is the closest you will get to OLED without paying double the price. I upgraded from the XBR65-750E, which is a great TV and now only $1000, and the improvement in picture quality is noticeable. Built-in Chromcast is a nice benefit as well. I originally purchased the XBR65-900E when it was $1799. It was a steal since it came with a Google Home and free installation. A week later the price dropped to $1499! A quick conversation with Best Buy and they refunded the difference. $1499 plus a Google Home, plus free installation is simply unbeatable. Awesome customer service and great prices. What more can you ask for?

After looking at multiple reviews for various 4k UHD smart televisions, we settled on this Sony television. The Best Buy employee helping us was very knowledgeable about the TV and said for the price range this was one of the best 4K LCD televisions you can get. We wanted a nice picture but not break the bank. So far we have had this 65 inch TV for only a few hours but have been very impressed with the sound and the beautiful 4K picture quality. We were also hesitant about the Android TV interface as had heard mixed reviews but turns out it is very easy to navigate and there are tons more app options than on our smaller LG 4K tv. Very pleased with our purchase so far!

I read all the reviews and the only one that applies is the remote is slow to respond at times. The blacks are awesome and my Blu ray movie finally impress me, can't wait to see 4K movies.
