Best tv for the price. Blacks are black enough for an LCD panel. Light bleed is almost none existent. Picture quality at 720p and above is excellent. Sound from the speakers is just ok so plan on getting a surround sound system or a soundbar. Now for the bad, Android TV, Sony it's 2018, you should have enough processing power in your TVs to not have this be a laggy mess. Navigating the menus is a chore with the delay in response. Other than that this TV is a perfect mid range upgrade to any older TV you are using now. Well, except if you have a really good plasma panel

We went in for the Samsung Curved TV. Talked to few people, read reviews, etc. WE LOVE the SONY!!! Picture is AMAZING! The only thing I don't like is that its a smart TV, however we don't have to activate it. Even the sound is great! We are happy that we went with the Sony instead! If you are looking for great picture with definition and colors, this is the TV. You will NOT regret it!

We did an incredible amount of research before purchasing this Sony. Not caring to afford an OLED, we were advised by Best Buy staff that the next best thing was this particular Sony. After my research, I definitely agreed. I watched the price for close to a year. Upon my purchase, the tv was $1,000 less than when we first looked at it. Great price from Best Buy! Great tv from Sony!

So far - my family and I really like this tele. The picture is nice and bright, without distortion (at least, none that I can see). The viewing angles are ideal for not-so-large living rooms (like ours)...and this is important, because we have a family of (8) in our house. The video game experience is also very nice. We play several games in 4K, and the FPS is solid - not too blurry, either. I haven't used the built-in speakers much, so I can not really comment on their performance. At any rate - is this unit is in your price range, I don't think you'll be disappointed with it... I know I'm not! Take care and happy researching!!

Clearest picture ever. Easy to set up. NT-5 Sony sound bar is a perfect match.

Replaced a Samsung with this Sony. Love the picture but the operating system is not as good as I expected. Menu system and remote are not intuitive and and make it difficult to control basic function. But no complaints about the picture. Sharp and gorgeous.

I got a ps4 pro set up with this tv and games look great specially HDR games.

Last couple of Samsung TVs went out after only a few years. And since I cannot afford OLED display TV, I read all the reviews & chose this Sony TV. Boy am I glad that I did!! It is terrific. Such a wonderful picture (even if you are off to the side a little bit). So far it's the best TV I've ever had.

This is an awesome tv. It is fast, looks good, and the picture is incredible! This is the first 4K I’ve owned, so take my review how you like, but I honestly think this is the best tv you can get right now for around this price. The sound is ok, I would recommend some external audio device, but it is good enough. Besides the sound, I think the tv is perfect. Fantastic job Sony!

I wasnt sure if the picture would be that much better than my old Sony HD TV since most of my viewing is on cable tv with HD channels. The upscaling gives you a really sharp picture that is much better than a regular hdtv. Even right up to the screen the picture is still sharp. Stream UHD movies from Netfli x and WOW! It is like being there! I would definitely recommend this tv.

I bought this tv to replace my 55 inch. I 850 series of this tv in a 55 and loved it so when I had to replace a tv I replaced with the 900 series for the living room and moved the 55. The color and the depth of colors is truly incredible!!! I love Sony TVs and this is my second one. It’s a smart tv that works with android, there are so many things I don’t even use because I use apple products. The reviews ask if you would recommend and I have already recommended to several friends. The tv has several hdmi ports so I was able to plug in my cable box, Apple TV and my ps4 with no issues. I have a Bose theatre system hooked up and the sounds paired with this tv is incredible! One of the first movies I watched on it was John Wick 2, it was just like being in the theatre! I love this tv and highly recommend it to anyone looking for one. My favorite sport is hockey so I watch a lot of hockey on this tv and the color and the refresh rate makes it just like being at the game! Truly one of the best products Sony has ever made!!!

This is probably the absolute best value for a non-OLED TV you can get right now. I've been shopping for a new TV for about a year now and this one does everything I want (movies, gaming and sports) almost as good as an OLED screen. If you can afford OLED, go for it because it's the best. But if you're looking for a solid, reliable TV that's a better value, look no further.

Read many reviews and it was down to two sets. Visited the store and it was no contest, the Sony just popped in picture quality equal in my opinion, to the OLED sets. The salesperson was knowledgeable, helpful, and answered all questions. Delivery and setup was fast, professional, and very helpful in answering senior citizen questions. Overall a great Best Buy experience.
