We had been using 32 inch LED TV. This new 65 inch TV is so good. My family loves the features. I can have apps (no need for Roku player as I can get sling). Adding the sound bar has completed the purchase and enhanced the satisfaction

Upgraded from a Vizio 1080p to this Sony 4k. This TV has 3x the brightness and the amount of colors visible is truly stunning. Try watching the animated movies like Moana or Frozen and you won't believe how good it looks. Highly recommend!

This TV is well worth the money, the picture quality is the best I've ever seen. It is an unquestionable difference in picture quality from lower priced models made by other companies.

Display is good. I wish the remote was designed as IR so it would work even if I point anywhere (like Roku remote). I wish for more control of the TV with Google home or Alexa, so could have been very convenient. Either way I like our TV.

Moved into a new place and needed a tv. Went to the store and asked a lot of questions. Sales person answered them and we picked this one, which is 10 inches larger than our old home. Set up by Geek Squad and the picture quality is great.

This was a pre-holiday gift to myself. This 900 series TV has an excellent picture and features. The TV comes with everything needed to get operational including a HDMI cable. The onscreen set up was easy even for a non technical person.

Bought the Sony XBR65X900E in January of 2018. My second purchase was a sound bar setup as this TV's sound quality was inefficient for a larger room. After allowing the TV to update I setup the picture quality to settings I found in online reviews and have not touched them since (Do your home work to get the picture that suits YOU). The overall picture quality is everything I expected and more. I cut the cord so I use a Roku Ultra to provide my 4K videos via Prime / Netflix / Hulu / HBO and the TV allows the Roku Remote full control (Sound bar too via ARC and the TV's quick settings), so the only time I use the TV remote is when I'm pairing My Sony Earbuds or Wireless Headphones for night viewing without disturbing the household, otherwise the Roku Remote Turns on, changes and turns off everything via one button push. I only had one problem, and I thought it was Sony's fault, but it turned out to be HULU. The picture will Zoom in when watching some shows - to the point where you only see half the writing or half of the intended view your supposed to see ( I originally worked with Sony Support, providing pictures and video and we could not figure out the problem - but they did work with me via quick response emails). Hulu just updated their software to full 4K capabilities so we'll see what happens. The Sony Bravia 65" 4K quality with it's local dimming - X1, etc. Technology is stunning and at the 2 year mark I have no complaints. As with any 4K TV make sure you have your settings correct (and the right HDMI Cables along with a Cat 6 Internet Cable) and you are actually getting 4K from your provider ( hence my Roku Ultra purchase!). Not all providers are delivering 4K HDR10 video but this TV does an excellent job of up-scaling 1080p video too. I would recommend this TV or it's newer "F" model to anyone seeking great 4K TV quality !

I came in looking to upgrade my tv situation and was pointed in the direction if the don't by the sales associate and I'm so glad he spoke up. The picture is clear from movie to sporting events. Would buy this TV again without a hesitation

Love this tv for is picture quality, nice narrow edge and excellent features. My only issue would be it uses a rather large supply that I had to hide behind it once mounted on the wall. Otherwise I would highly recommend this product.

Sony does it again, their quality is unmatched when it comes to TVs. Have owned Sony TVs for years and this one does not disappoint. Picture quality, UI and clarity of 4K and HDR viewing is outstanding. Great TV for the price.

I'm a chronic product researcher. I knew that the LG OLED models were the absolute best picture on the market, but even on Black Friday they were just a little pricey given the life cycle of consumer electronics. Also, I really wanted a unified AV experience and LG did not produce receivers. Sony consistently popped up in reviews as the next best thing to OLED, so I visited the UTC store a couple of times for viewing. Fortunately, they had the LG and the Sony units on the wall next to each other. While the LG was clearly better, the 65x900E was VERY good. I'd flirted with the idea of 75x850D at the same price, but ultimately decided after viewing (be sure to ask a tech to put the same content on both units) that picture quality outweighed the viewing area. At home the setup was easy and the picture quality excellent - just set the mode to CUSTOM and you'll get 90% of perfect for TV and movies (gamers and sports fans have other options). There are plenty of articles and videos for how to tweak the settings to get that final 10%. Generally speaking the menus are easy to navigate and use. However, the so called user manual is completely inadequate in explaining some of the settings - both intent and effect. The HELP button on the remote and corresponding menu are excellent and the remote connection for support proved invaluable. This brings me to a KEY TIP. I hooked up my 65X900E to a Sony STR-DN1080 receiver via HDMI3/ARC and ran my Sony UDP-X800 Blu-Ray player and Time-Warner/Spectrum cable box into that. However, I couldn't get the native streaming apps on the TV to output sound to the receiver and speakers. Also, the Bravia Sync would not detect the other products and I was forced to shuffle 3 remotes. After verifying the HDMI Control = ON for all units, I called support. They logged into the TV and after an hour of reboots, double-checking settings, clearing caches, etc., they finally determined that an HDMI-Lightening adapter plugged into HDMI2 (with no iPhone attached) was confusing the TV. As soon as we unplugged it, ARC and Bravia Sync worked perfectly. The issue occurred regardless of which port we plugged the adapter into. The takeaway is be careful about using other HDMI ports on the TV if you want the ARC port to work correctly. I desperately want to give Sony 5 stars for the hardware and the great customer support (time-consuming, but hard-working). However, the inability to prioritize the HDMI3/ARC port over the others and the hideous collection of Android apps that they foist upon you costs them a star (search YouTube for secret pro mode on Sony TVs and you can learn how to tweak this though).

I did some research and read a few comparison studies and narrowed it down to the vizeo p serious at 65inches about $1200 which was a very nice looking tv at Costco and offered a 4year warranty.... I choose the $1500 sony x900 and have no regrets on expanding my budget, the darks look amazing and upscale high def 4k movies incredibly. It's a pretty penny but we'll worth it in my opinion... against other floor models the LG Oled is the only one more attractive but that up the price tag to about $2500 to steep for me.

Our former TV was well past 10 years old and it was time to give up the ghost for a new one. I have been fairly loyal to Samsung but the picture on the this Sony was brilliant without going to an absurd price of the QLEDs. Ohhh my!

I paid $4000 for my last 4K TV.It had some issues so I used my geek squad warranty and got this T.v. Half the price and 5x better.OLED is great but I just didn't think it was $3000 better than this T.v. Unbelievable for gaming and movies. So good in fact that I bought the 55 inch for the basement too!!!!!!!!

I am totally a Sony and buy most things by them but i must be honest even though this new 65 inch XBR is very nice and has a great picture i must say i brought a Sony 55 inch XBR last year and really think the picture on the 55 is better. It is now in my bedroom and i can see the difference. I still think Sony is the best but will call them about it. Stick with Sony you can't go wrong.
