This tv has a beautiful picture. Our past TVs have been Sony brand and have never had any problems so we chose to continue with this brand.

I have reservation about Sony TV as I got a lemon in the past and the TV barely lived past its warranty. But that was back in the 90's. I already have a Samsung 4K so giving this TV a try. I am a bit surprised how good Android TV is. The TV OS for Samsung is full of problems and its apps crashes all the time. But with Android TV crashing apps is almost non-existent. I have owned the TV for almost 2 years and I only had to reset the TV once. Not to mention the convenience of the Google ecosystem (eg casting shows). Picture quality is great. Not saying Samsung isn't but it's just different. Samsung picture is sharper and the colors are vibrant but then they also look surreal. Since I watch a lot of YouTube on TV I wish they had added a dedicated YouTube button on the remote (instead of the Google Play button).

The picture is very clear. it was easy to assemble for a now technical senior citizen.

It's a great TV with a caveat, very slow processor compared to newer Samsung's (my 2015) has faster processing. Web browser, YouTube, and Netflix take much longer to load. Btw I have 100 Mbps plus on tap and all tabs., tv's and s.phones work swiftly. So, if Sony could Improvise then it's a solid TV which gives competition the run for its buck! I would still recommend this to a friend since I'm pleased with picture quality along with depth of blacks.

The Sony with HDR was almost as good a picture as the LG OLED which costs much more. I was going to buy a regular 4K which was about $700 less, but the quality of the picture was worth it. The only downside is limited 4K content. Blu Ray DVDs look great on the Sony.

I picked this Tv up right before Christmas and got it up on the wall. It had a defect(I always get the defects) I took it back the next day and swapped it for a new one, no problems with this one. It's a video game and movie t.v. in a room with adjustable lighting. After some tweaking I got it where I like it, i haven't tried HDR yet so I can't comment on that at this point. I look forward to getting a 4k player for the full experience.
