Typical Sony product, much better than the rest and a great value for the price

This has the best picture out there before moving to Q or O- LCD hands down for both watching and gaming. Software however needs getting used to if you are not an Android user.

Great TV. My only complaint is a Sony complaint. Sometimes you can notice lip sync issues with the voice and lips not syncing. It upsets me but its so small most wont see it. Sony should do a better job considering everything over $1,000 needs to be perfect. I did buy a JBL 3.1 soundbar/sub combo and put a digital optical cable from my charter box straight to the soundbar and now everything is in sync. Like I said though most people wont notice. And the built in speakers are very soft. However, the color and picture is pure bliss. Can't beat the 900E for sports.... and fast motion stuff. As of now NO OLED can beat its motion! Don't let the sales people tell you otherwise.

My husband has been talking about replacing the Sony Bravia (42in) we bought in 2007 even though it worked fine. I ran across this Sony, checked CNET for a review which was impressive. We went into the store so we could see this in person and decided we liked what we saw. The TV also fit (with the seats folded down) in the back of our BMW 3 series without crushing the box. My husband and I were able to set this up ourselves easily. The resolution is amazing and sound quality is great for not having a sound bar. We haven’t delved into all the features this offers. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone. So maybe this is t the most technical review but we’re more than pleased. We did opt for the 2 year geek squad plan since this is way more advanced than out previous Sony. Basically you can’t go wrong with the quality of this TV.

EXTREMELY glad I chose this TV over the more expensive OLED models. The picture has been AMAZING with quality source material, there IS still a lot of garbage source material out there. EVEN streaming through original version Chromecast or using the set's native Netflix app or Netflix through the UBP-X800 4K player the PQ is top notch. (Note that we are note paying for Netflix's 4K service so this is standard high quality streaming over fiber internet upconverted by the TV). Actual 4K source, like Blu-Rays from the UBP-X800 look UNREAL. I REALLY though I wanted an OLED but, to me, the difference in black levels just wasn't work $1K+ more. Bought this set for $1400+

The picture quality is good. The sound quality is ok, but that is not an issue because Normally people would contect it with external surrounded sound system. Paired with PS4 will take the graphic to another level. My only complain is the remote control. Maybe I am spoiled with the magic remote control, but Sony, I know you can do a better job than this. The controls is also not so responsive. Other than that, I like this tv.
