I moved up from the XBR65X900F to the XBR65X950G. (Note I had upgraded the 900F to Android 8 OREO and it brings many layout/access changes,) For eARC, all 4 HDMI’s can be set for enhancement, better processor, better offsides viewing, 2 additional internal speakers, improved remote more compatible with android 8 OREO, Netflix has a custom calibration video setting also. Awesome picture and sound. When I originally bought this TV it was already on sale for approximately $1800. marked down from $2200. Within a week after my purchase there was a Black Friday sale and it was marked down to $1300. I brought in my receipt and Best Buy credited my account for the new sale price. I was so excited about this. Best Buy is an awesome store to buy anything. This was my 2nd purchase from them in the last year and have been happy with everything so far. In fact I will have to purchase a new washing machine soon and I will be going back there again

This tv has beatiful picture. The setup is super easy can be done with your phone. Good choice for room that have a lot of sunlight as picture is still bright enough that you can still see it.

Absolutely stunning! We replaced our 65" Panasonic that we purchased 12 years ago for $3500 from Best Buy. Wow! The new technology at half the cost is amazing! I spent a lot of time comparing the different brands. With price and quality being the basis of our decision, Hands down the Sony 950G wins. Granted the top of the line Sony was definitely the best I've seen but the cost was out of budget. But this, their 2nd best, is still amazing and well worth the price! This is the 5th TV I've purchased from Best Buy. They are without a doubt the best place to buy!

It's pretty slick. We had it up and running in no time. It is paired with a Yamaha receiver and Bose speakers. There are some frustrating parts of switching to apps/smart functions when the volume doesn’t switch, but I haven’t had any free minutes to figure out why. It also happens if I say “Hey Google, turn on the Tv”. TV and receiver turn on.... but no volume. I have to switch to Netflix or other and then back again to U-verse to get volume. The volume from the TV (no receiver or augmented sound) is actually pretty great as well. Plans are to upgrade to Sonos. Picture is phenomenal (if using web streaming services that broadcast in 4K or higher). Still an awesome picture In other formats, but we picked up YouTube TV and prefer watching there rather than U-verse. I will say the remote that was shown with the TV (pointer functionality) is not the remote that comes with the TV... sometimes the Bluetooth feature is debatable..... overall, no regrets and would purchase again and recommend.

I have now replaced all of my TV’s with Sony’s. I like the android system. The TV this one replaced was a Samsung 8400 series which lasted only 4 years. I have a Sony that I bought 6 months later and it is still going strong. The sound on this TV is clear. I had to use an external receiver and speaker system to hear with the Samsung. It is not needed with this TV. I understand the 2020 model is even better on the audio but at the close out price I paid for this the few features the new model had wouldn’t be worth the extra $800. I bought this on a price match for $1099. I had watching the price on this Tv for months while the Samsung was dying.

I am taken aback by how magnificent the picture is and the ease of use of the remote. Sometimes it muted itself, but I hope the problem is minor. I still love my third Sony TV since 1990

I am very pleased with my new tv. No problems with setup and picture is great...love watching sports on it. Depending on broadcast, sometimes feels like you are there (with surround sound). I was leaning towards the Sony, when my wife got a new iphone, and while talking to the sales associate helping us, found out that he normally worked in the home theater area. I asked which tv he would get if he were purchasing one, and this was his choice, thus I felt even better about my selection. Note: he had no idea of my interest in the Sony.

This is definitely an upgrade to my last Sony TV: 1) The picture quality is amazing! 2) The colors are vibrant! 3) The blacks are nice and dark. I have to watch all of my 4K Blu-ray’s over again!

Color is great and fast motion and switching. Remote control is also great. My old sony was only 5 years old, but this one was worth getting as it is significantly improved technology.

The colors, brightness and clarity - Great TV. The remote control easy to use but should light up but that's a function that Sony missed.

Installed ourselves, Best Buy had an online video about unpackaging tips, which was actually helpful and appreciated. Excellent product, excellent picture out-of-the-box. LOTS of options, Sony has an additional on-line manual with far more detail than would be practical to print, check that out. (I printed it out anyway, so could easily browse to explore options. ) Staff very helpful, but I had already extensively researched reviews, so pretty much had picked out. Most new TV's are now really pretty good, but Sony, and this model, seem outstanding. New version of this model starting to be rolled out, so BB had it at a good price.

Recently bought this TV to replace anD old Samsung Plasma TV. The TV is wall mounted, if you plan to set it on a tv stand make sure you have adequate room for the legs as they take up a bit of real estate. Some of the features I love are the Google Android Interface with apps like Netflix, Prime & others. The picture quality is great for an LCD. I also like the sound as it is clear & loud enough for my living room. If you get this TV make sure you stick with Sony products as you will be in their ecosystem.

I am enjoying the clarity and vividness of the screen. Remote is easy to understand and use. Tv is smarter than it's senior owner but I'm learning to use all the help aids and extras.

The picture quality is gorgeous. If you want a tv that displays natural colors buy a Sony! I also have a 55” X950G in my bedroom. I’m so happy that I listened to the store rep.

This Sony is incredible! Since there is almost no 4K content out there, what you see in the store is 4K, looped content. But here in my home? Wow! All 4K content (4K Blu-ray, some Netflix, etc) blows this picture right out the water. Looks as good as any OLED and way better than the super-bright QLED's out there. I've always had Samsung, but am now Team Sony. And the price of this top-of-the-line X950G? Blows the pants off Samsung's inflated prices and in no way would I ever get an OLED when this is such an incredible TV, mated to a 4K receiver and using 4K HDMI cables. First new TV in 10 years and the family is loving it.

This Sony has a great picture ! Good looking tv easy to use all functions, just the right size for me ! Best Buy is a great place to buy this tv they know everything about it

I am a Sony guy. Since the Trinitron days, Sony always tops the competition on picture quality. However, this is the first Sony where sound suffers. Frankly, I think it's simply logical that any speakers positioned on the BACK of a set will fail to deliver. Given the price of a Sony 4k set, I'm surprised Sony settled for the inferior sound this unit produces. I just purchased a sound bar to compensate for the tinny, treble. My other two Sony 4k sets were the original design with speakers aiming toward the room. Yes, it may have been less sleek BUT it gave great sound. Fortunately, I give the set high ranking because the picture is superb.

The picture is really good for the most part but it has some really bad issues with blooming. Definitely recommend getting a sound bar as it isn't very good out of the box. Google assistant works great with the TV, built in chromecast is a nice feature.

This TV is awesome, great colors and easy to setup. Works great with Siri Home pod and Apple TV, even though it is a google application. I highly recommend this TV.
