The hardware itself is great. Looks good, no tearing, great vibrant colors. However, the software is awful. We had to restart the TV manually about once a week when the sound would stop working on a streaming service. It crashed on its own a few times. I've never had a TV that had these problems before. We had this TV for 1 year and now I'm going today into Best Buy to buy another one.

This tv does not quite have the color volume or zone count found on a few other "high end" 2019 tv's but is very accurate out of the box with little needing to be done. It's very bright and Sony does a very good job with the amount of zones it does have to produce descent blacks with minute blooming. Super easy set up and the "ultimate" chip really makes the OS blazingly fast.

I bought this as an open box item and I definitely am not disappointed! The picture quality is amazing, particularly in 4K and Dolby Vision. My soundbar also works great with it! Three Android TV processor is super fast; the fastest I've ever used on a TV! Initial setup was quick and easy and you can turn your TV on and off with just your voice! Highly recommended!

TV has excellent picture and sound is better than the Samsung it replaced. I see no jitter when watching sports. 4K content is Scarry Good. Android is fast and reliable. Work great with Google Home. There are some things that do not play well with each other. My normally reliable Dish seems buggy. It will randomly shut the Joey off. Though at first I was hitting the remote. No such luck, goes off with no input and you lose whatever was on. Some of the TV controls were hard to track down.

Great picture, great color and seamless setup with Hulu, Netflix, and prime

Bought this TV w/ HTZ9 soundbar after we got ahead of ourselves and got the LG OLED, which unfortunately didn't fit the mount that we already had. User set-up was nice and super easy with no problems. Hooked up the soundbar in the HDMI and boom everything linked easily, remote is linked to the cable. Good to go, right? I have no clue what is up with the software in this TV, but it randomly just decides to stop playing sound when watching things on an app. Other times, the remote just all-around decides to stop working with the cable, or anything for that matter. It's not the batteries, but magically, if I go up and unplug the TV and plug it back in, all is well again. The tv will randomly do the same thing with the sound bar or sub woofer. I really want to love this tv as everything seems so seemless with the Sony products, but getting up on a semi consistent basis to simply unplug your tv is quite the annoying task when you pay $2,000k for an entertainment system.

I think the image quality of this 4K LED is one of the best sub-$2,000 TVs you will find. Chose this over OLED to reduce burn-in potential and save a few bucks. 2 flaws: 1, The remote control occasionally won’t respond to button pushes. Comes and goes. 2. The power often turns on in the middle of the night. Super annoying especially if out of town for 10 days and come home to the TV on Still would give this TV a good review as future firmware may fix these issues. Fingers crossed.

Loving our new TV. We have it in the bedroom. It’s large enough that we can see it from our bed without glasses so it’s perfect for falling Asleep at night. The price was much better than our other top of the line TV and we didn’t need that up to the minute model that we have in our living room.

The picture on this TV is excellent. Features and controls are easy to use.

The Sony XG 950G Series TV is the best TV have ever owned.The motion handling and the skin tones are the best I have ever seen . The Doby Vision movies and TV shows on Netflix are stunning. The contrast and brightness have to be seen to believe.

For years it seems, I've been holding out for an OLED, but ended up with this TV due to it's brightness and deep rich colors. The room it was going into, I learned from the pro's at BestBuy would not be good for an OLED and suggested this. It's beyond amazing. Incredible TV. And, with the set up and wi-fi, I was online in minutes. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
