I was really looking for an Oled but they are out of my price range right now. This is an excellent TV and I am very pleased with the purchase. After tweaking with the advanced settings it produces an excellent picture. A sound bar or external sound system is needed as the tv sound is just ok. The folks at Best Buy were excellent.

Excellent color, clarity, life-like picture, and sound.

Excellent image quality, great choice of apps from google play, easy to use interface is very quick with the X1 Ultimate chip, Local array dimming greatly helps contrast. Airplay and Chromecast is very easy to use. Was able to grab a perfect open box for less than a similar 55" two years ago. Great value.

As I haven’t bought a TV in more than 10 years, it seems the market is flooded with options.. as always SONY is setting the bar high for TVs.. the google assistant is super helpful with my smart home setup.. even the metal remote with easy setting access and menu. Excited to continue to put this tv to the test..

We were actually looking to purchase an OLED or QLED TV. We got concerned about “burn in” issues and came across this Sony. The reviews were stellar and we had a Sony previously so decided this was the one. I have absolutely no complaints! This TV has been an amazing upgrade and works flawlessly. The picture is stunning!

Best picture ever owned the talk to remote is terrific

Easy to use ,nice apps,quality is more than expected.

I had a very good buying experience at the store. TV came promptly and expertly and I wasted no time getting everything set up. Everything went better than expected but with only one gripe. After setting everything up and watching a for a few hours I noticed that at certain times depending on the colors onscreen (lighter images) I can see a very noticeable vertical line a little more than 1/4 of the way in from the left side. It kind of resembles a burn in type of line that you might see on an LCD desktop monitor. After looking up online to see if other people had the same issues it appears that some TV's have this OOTB and it can vary from slightly noticeable to really noticeable. In the end I decided to just stick with what I got rather than take a chance and return it for something worse. It just wasn't worth the hassle. It really makes me wish that there was a way to test the TV out that I will be receiving before hand in the store and then if it all looks good, bring it home (like test driving a car). However, as I said, it's only noticeable at certain times so unless I knew of this possibly occurring before hand, I probably wouldn't have noticed it in the store either. I also think that maybe Sony could do a little better with their quality control. For the price of the TV, I don't think this is really acceptable. I've owned this TV for almost a year now and have had no other issues to speak of. Aside from that one thing I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. The only reason for this review at this time is to make sure that other people are aware of this possibility.

High quality product that we are enjoying, it is highly recommended. If you can wait, check the price the 1st week of November where you can get very good deal for beautiful TV. Or check the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas, there is what Best Buy calls an Elf's day sale. Highly recommended.

We have smaller lesser quality tv’s in our bedrooms. Their pictures and longevity are nowhere close to the Sony. Our last Sony out lasted three bedroom tv’s and the picture quality our 15 year old Sony was better than the 5 year old bedroom tv’s picture.

What can I say it's a sony, great picture, lots of extras on here for apps, good wifi connection for streaming, ps4 gaming is fantastic and bluray movies look outstanding, got the tv on sale and was definitely worth it. If you are looking for a great tv but dont want to spend lots of money on an oled tv then this is it.

I purchased this TV to replace my Samsung I have had for 7 years. After researching several models I selected this Sony Bravia. The 4K picture is fantastic. The sound is above average and the Smart TV interface is easy to operate. I have had this T. For a month and have had no issues. Highly recommend.

nice clear picture easy set up easy to hang on wall

The TV is amazing and I did a lot of research but in the end the cost for the quality of TV plus the ability to have solid technology for the next few years is what sold us. Clean clear picture with easy to use settings to go from vivid down to more of a dark setting plus the voice activation makes it that much better.

The picture quality of this tv is outstanding and the sound quality is great. When you watch sports in particular, it gives you the feel of being there. The piccels provide outstanding picture quality. Everyone who has seen the tv has been very impressed and talked about how much better the quality is than their tv.

I absolutely love this TV. The colors really pop and it can get really dark. Dolby Vision bright mode makes movies look as good as they do in the theater. Gaming on the PS4 is amazing with really low input lag. It has lots of apps and Android is fast and responsive. I can't recommend this TV enough.

This is our 2nd Sony Bravia tv. We had the 1st one for years before it started showing signs of screen burn. The thing is it was a demo tv before we bought it so it had lots of hours on it. This new one is great. The picture is beautiful and the smart functions are fast. I would highly recommend this tv.

I needed to replace my large screen and did a lot of comparisons. The Sony X950G has fantastic picture quality. The picture is bright, crisp, and the colors are vivid and realistic. I chose the Sony over Samsung and LG, mainly for the refresh rate; this TV provided the best picture while watching hockey.
