We purchased this Sony TV and it worked perfectly for the first few days. Then it had a software upgrade and things went downhill quickly. The audio was cutting out...at first it was when we changed inputs from antenna TV to an App. The only way to get the sound to work again was to "restart" the TV (either unplugging the TV or long holding the power button). Then the audio started going out in the middle of a show. The Best Buy rep recommended using an Optical cable for audio instead of the HDMI Arc cable. This did not help the situation. Best Buy thought the TV was having a warranty issue and exchanged it for us. The next TV, which they set up for us, did exactly the same thing AFTER the upgrade. Which is when we realized that was when the first TV started having issues. We returned the Sony and bought an LG. The Sony rep told Best Buy that there is an HDMI Arc issue with the new software and they are working on a fix. We didn't want to wait. Luckily we were within the 15 day window to return the TV. We LOVE our LG! Hope Sony can get this problem figured out soon, for those who cannot return their TV.

Only hiccup is the delay in switching from TV speakers to an external speaker system via HDMI eARC every time I turn on the TV (wish it would retain setting to external speaker). Only work around seems to use optical instead of HDMI, which then you lose Dolby Atmos passthrough. Also, the stand legs can limit the width of sound bar that can be placed under the TV (if it’s not mounted).

The purchase process was relatively easy with the in-home consultant making things simple. The Geek Squad of Bya and Christina were expert in their installation of the new tv and especially in their connecting it to the new receiver and sound system. Top notch team!

this is a really big tv almost to big for our space but the picture is great

Awesome HDR TV. Upscaling regular TV is great. Few setting required to watch amazing movies. Streaming app on android is fast. Overall this TV is incredible. Hook up with sound bar for unbelievable sound. Could not been happier with purchased. Would definitely recommend.

I have to try to “tweak” the TV to get the best picture...using 4K movies.

Picture quality is really good. But not as blown away as I was in the store.

Wasn't in the market for this line of TV but when I saw it in the store, it really caught my eye. Looks just as great at home! (usually not the case in my experience). Set up was super easy, did it myself, and I'm not tech savvy at all. Beautiful TV, worth the investment.

I bought a Sony 65" TV and had it installed over our fireplace. The two gentlemen (both named James) who came to do the install did an excellent job. The TV is really good but the install was great

Love it for movies so far feel like more sports need to be covered in 4k

It is everything they said it would be! It has far exceeded our expectations!

We had a room with a lot of windows letting a lot of light in. We went with this series TV rather than a OLED to minimize glare. It is a perfect match for our room.

Although a little bit disappointed by the Android TV interface, and the poor Alexa integration - the latency between a voice command and TV reaction is too much, it is a good TV overall. I am very pleasant with the Airplay 2 integration which is well done.

Installation great. Time spent showing us how to operate remote was valuable.

This TV has great picture quality but sometimes the sound goes out requiring it to be restarted. Also, the picture on it is not as good as the x900. If I had to choose again, I would have gotten a second one of those instead. Overall, this one is solid and has all the latest specs on it.

This was an upgrade from the 3d vizio i brought 7 years ago. This is an awesome set; wish it had 3d capabilities. Audio is okay but better with a soundbar. Otherwise I'm happy wit the purchase. Value is great especially since i got it on sale.

So far great quality with great picture. Would recommend to anyone

Compared to our previous TV ( LG), Sony X950G is 100% better!
