The tv sound is great but not excellent compared to Samsung tv however I use my own bose speaker for great theater sound. The picture is excellent. Smart system is great. Occassionally I may need to restart my tv but I still haven't seen a perfect system. I returned the Samsung tv because the smart system was horrible. Expensive tv but worth it. I like the remote control, it has a quick navigation experience.

Beautiful color and sound. This TV is very easy to set up. This is a top of the line TV.

I replaced a well used and now antiquated plasma TV with this new higher end Sony model. What a marvelous difference in picture quality and upgrade in software capabilities. The picture is bright and the colors “pop”. The built in streaming apps are a big convenience . It isn’t the most expensive set in the Sony lineup but I consider it to be the “Best Buy” of all the Sony TV’s. Highly recommended.

You will love this TV! Beautiful color/ contrast. I think the “ sound “ is good and do not need a added speaker. Unless you want more of a surround sound/ theater sound. Which is nice as well . Easy controller , Easy set up. Should have 2 people carry in/ set up on stand/ hang on a wall. I suggest the added Warranty. I love Best But Warranties. Easy returns. You want be disappointed

This TV has a great picture. It is very easy to use and it comes with a “universal” remote.

This is a very good TV. Setting up was quick and simple. Connects to cable easily. Easy to navigate. Comes with favorites such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and others. Easy to download and install apps, such as the DC app. I was watching my favorite shows in less than a hour. Overall very good TV and great picture quality.

A lot research was done prior to this purchase and I like to invest in quality products - Sony is a quality product. I was looking at Samsung (they have great products too) and Sony side by side and I ended up with investing on the Sony. The Sony 950G is Sony's best LCD 4K television for 2019 and a step below Sony's OLED Line. Some of the things that highlighted my decision to get this tv were: (1) Sony quality (2) eARC/ARC compatibility (3) Sony's X1 Ultimate Chip (4) Outstanding motion control (5) Beautiful realistic picture (6) Dolby Vision If you're looking to jump into a great 4k tv with great quality and great features - the Sony 950G is for you! I paid less than the actual price as the product was on sale. Go to the showroom and see for yourself how great the Sony 950G is; if you can afford this product it won't disappoint you - you get what you pay for; so invest in the best and get a Sony! Side Note: The product is great out of the box; however, you my want to tweak the product to get the best picture experience that fits your needs. There is a lot of hype and disclaimers on YouTube that favor or discredit this tv but you make the call. Ultimately, you will have to make the best decision based on your research and analysis. As for me this product is great and I'm glad that I invested the money on it. I'm enjoying gaming, streaming, Blu-Rays, and HDTV on this Sony and it's been a great, immersive experience so far! Not disappointed - what more can I say - it's a Sony!!!

Of course Sony, goes with out saying, has the best performance. Color, sound, setting options., etc. This "smart" model comes with tons of installed apps and auto downloads updates frequently. The best feature is the remote. It is sturdy and allows you to control everything. We can even use it to verbalize commands. For the "last set you will ever purchase" this is the one.

Amazing TV. Beautiful picture right out of the box. Had the Geek Squad deliver and mount it. Installed apps open quickly and work perfectly. Installing new apps is easy. Love the remote. I don't have cable and use apps for everything. Integration with all the apps I use is seamless. I have the 75" model in the living room and have this (65") in the bedroom. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Haven’t watched a lot of programming on it yet but I can attest to a really beautiful picture. Blacks are dark and colors bright and very clear. Looking forward to getting it wall mounted then I can run it through the paces. The apps and wireless network synced up easily and accurately. The packaging was ingenious and directions for setup were quite good. Happy with my purchase.

This is a great tv. I had a Sony before from 2017 and wouldn’t buy any other tv based on tv quality. I would suggest this tv to anyone looking. The sound is terrible but that’s why they have sound bars these day I suppose. Adding apps is super easy as well as set up. Tv is lite and screen is covering a huge percentage of the frame. 4K resolution is great and processor is very good too. Tvs are spendy but worth every dollar in my opinion.

Bought this TV as a replacement for a LG that went out after only a year. This TV is has amazing picture quality and resolution, it also has built in Google and Alexa which makes finding shows on Netflix or amazon very easy. Set up was very simple with the ability to connect it to your phone and finish setup on the phone is a great option. Overall it is a Great TV the price was not to bad compared to other TV with lower quality.

what a great tv ... man this tv is super bright! People say the blacks are gray but I dont see it at all ... there is blooming but hardly noticeable due how bright this tv is. The price is very fair i am very happy with my purchase. Do yourself favor .. ignore the reviews buy from best buy and you'll find you made the right decision to buy. Its worth it.

If you are looking for a 4K TV you can't go wrong with this one. Full disclosure I'm a Sony guy, so I started looking for Sony TV's only, and got this one. I didn't get an OLED because I don't want to worry about burn in, and I think OLED is a fad just like plasma tv's were. So LED 4K is around long term, and this TV fits the bill. It is super fast with navigation and the internal operating system has worked flawlessly. The only drawback in my mind is the feet, I replaced them with a universal TV stand before setting up the tv. Ultimately you can't go wrong with the Sony X950G!

I spent quite some time researching TV's. As you know they stopped making 3-D (still a huge fan) and my TV panel bit the dust. As they are shoving 4k down our throats with 8k next year and more than likely 16k following enough of the tirade. Like I said researched and boiled down to this tv and samsung Q70 spent about an hour in Best Buy (thank you) and finally made chose the sony. The price was excellent and the TV is better at home than in the store. Easy setup I have only changed a couple of settings overall it is a great picture and features are terrific. I will say that on some internet channels there seems to be a glitch. The picture pauses not even a second but you notice it no loss of picture or sound, but still a little annoying. However I still have to give it 5 stars and would definitely recommend it.

This set replaces my Panisonic plasma that has been an excellent television. The overall performance of the new SONY is fantastic. Colors are accurate and contrast, clarity and brightness are top notch. Perfect for sports action and the 4K performance is outstanding. The UI is very easy to navigate and set up out of the box was a breeze.

My last Sony TV was 12 years old, still working fine, but it was time for an upgrade. The TV is very easy to navigate and has an amazing picture. I love the ease of transitioning between TV and Netflix and Hulu, whereas before I had to go through my PS4. The Sony sound bar also works great with this TV. I'm very glad I made the investment in this TV.
