Said it would come with no impact on performance, but there were significant scratches on the screen.

have had several Sony tv's and always happy - not this time. At least once every 2 weeks I have to unplug it and allow it to reset-. various issues - sound and video get out of sync, or just won't come on at all. It is so random there is no way a repair shop could fix it - might be fine for a week or two then it screws up. very annoyed.

    Great tv

After lots of research and currently having a 65 inch Sony A8f OLED in my family room , I gotta say I’m impressed with this TV. The blacks are not super black like my OLED but the picture is super nice and the sound is good. The remote control is great and the motion is smooth. 4K looks great and standard Direct TV like espn and sports are nice. People that complain about blooming are picking it apart . It only happens during white captions. The apps respond super fast and the tv upscales quickly . If your thinking about buying this TV and can’t afford buying a Sony OLED you should pull the trigger. I can tell you I have tried the LG C9 OLED and I was disappointed to say the least, people who try to compare Sony vs LG have not tried both, I have personally had all three in my home and I prefer my Sony X950G over the LG C9 simply because of the brightness and overall performance . Super snappy and nice upgraded remote. Overall a great performer and good price point if you can’t go Sony OLED. Don’t be fooled by the LG Budget OLED like the B8 OR mid level C9. Just Not worth it. Hope this helps. Go Sony you won’t be sorry. One more thing before I finish up, at first I thought Best Buy and magnolia employees were pushing Sony for some reason or another but now I know why. It’s just better.

In home consultation upsold to expensive brands and promised installation and services from 2 large tvs that were impossible to deliver. when asked to address, although promised again it would all be made right, we've been moved to the "back of line" for service and will have to wait another month to see if the new promises can be fulfilled. A project that we started in the first week of November MIGHT be completed by the end of February. Tell your "consultants" (glorified salesmen!!!!) to either become competent or stop lying.

This TV has issues connecting and remaining connected to other devices. It shuts off and turns on randomly. The sound goes out. I live alone and have had airdrop requests pop up multiple times. Been trying to return ever since I bought this. This may have to be the last interaction with Best Buy as well because they are quite unhelpful.

The TV is fine but the people who installed the tv damaged my furniture and refuse to call me back when I contact them about the damage. They damaged a brand new entertainment center that I just purchased. So now I am out not only the money I had to pay for the installation but also for a brand new entertainment center. I think this is completely unprofessional not only on the part of the contractors who installed the tv, but also Best Buy since they were the ones who hired the contractors.

After owning this TV about 4 days, we started having major problems. It would freeze up and had to unplug it many times to reset it. Had to go through a reset to factory settings. Also, the speaker is horrible. Could not understand dialog. Turned volume up and background noise was loud, but still struggled to hear dialog. Returned the Sony and got a Samsung. Happy with it so far.

Got this This TV back in December of 2019 and rarely used until March of 2021. I recently purchased a new TV for my family room and place this one in my bedroom and started using it everyday. It just went out on me today July 13th 2021. You can hear the sound but produces absolutely no picture, just a black screen when you turn it on.

My one star is based on I use the Hulu App a lot & have had nothing but problems w/ this app on this tv. All other apps work fine. Disappointed as well that Apple TV app not available & have to buy all the extra equipment to access. Was set on a different model when I walked in but let myself get swayed by the employee's enthusiasm for this tv.

this purchase has been a nightmare from the beginning. constantly crashes...have to reboot several times a week. Sony should be embarrassed by the terrible quality for an expensive tv. About to cut my losses and by cheap tv at Target If we could give it 0 stars we would
